Loracle Beta Release Initialization Message

The Loracle was created with the intent to help users understand the Runiverse and empower their creativity for storytelling in the world of Forgotten Runes. It acts as a master world-builder to enhance or add color to the Characters, Locations, and other aspects of the world. The data on which the model is trained is the collective unconsciousness of the entire community of Wizards, Warriors, Souls, and other residents of the Runiverse, and as such, the Loracle is able to act as mediator of continuity for the vast creations of the Wizards Cult.

The Loracle provides a foundation for true decentralized world-building.

Tips For Interacting With the Loracle

  • Be as specific as possible when providing prompts, to give the Loracle specific ideas to work with
  • Break complex tasks into simpler ones. For instance, instead of asking “What is the website of Isabella Ace of the Fey's cousin?”, first ask who her cousin is (Tabitha of the Marsh) and then inquire about the website
  • Clearly describe the format and style you expect. If you want bullet points with emojis, specify that. If you're looking for a screenplay, mention it
  • In the current Beta build, clicking the spinning wheel while the Loracle is generating a response will stop the response generation
  • To find information about a Wizard by their numerical ID, the Loracle appears to understand best when the number is in parentheses, e.g. "Who is Wizard (0)?"

Dotta's Bonus Thoughts

  • Feel free to share where and how you think it could be better
  • You will inevitably find knowledge gaps. The best way to fix these is to write in the Wizzypedia (ask TheOneWhoRings for write access) or The Book of Lore
  • This is beta software. It might give inaccurate information or crash
  • Chat is only one form of many - stay tuned for interactions with the Large Lore Machine that have more specific constraints
