Sock Puppet
It's a sock with buttons glued on it for eyes. Puppetry is a popular pastime in many parts Runiverse, and sock puppets occupy a special place in that tradition. Simple and accessible, sock puppets offer a fun way for anyone to try their hand at puppetry.
Some Wizards have been known to give these puppets sentience, wherein the sock puppet is used as a proxy for for identity in order to conduct furtive activities. Incredibly, in the right hands, sock puppets can be used for quite serious and consequential activities.
Sock Puppets were given as a treat in the 2022 Halloween Trick or Treat Event by the Nightmare Imp. Wizards, Warriors, Souls, and Friends traveled through the Vampyre Mist to knock on the Imp's door to receive a surprise. Many such Sock Puppets are now kept in the Forgotten Runes Athenaeum.
