Vampyre Mist
In the Runiverse
A region in decay, dotted with crumbling castles and decrepit manors where a great aristocracy once reigned. A thick blanket of mist pervades, strangely only waist high in most parts, and yet thick enough to obscure any hint of a road or path. Travelers have only lamp posts, lanterns hung in black trees, and wayward hobgoblin flames as guides through this treacherous area. The air is charged with a supernatural energy that is disturbed only by the flutter of bats wings or howling wolves. Many dark creatures thrive here, including ghouls, liches, revenants, spectres, and dark imps. But nobody denies that the rulers of this region are a cadre of elite vampires.
Vampyre Mist is located in the central region of the known Runiverse. Just east of the The Thorn, Vampyre Mist is bound on the south by the Quantum Shadow and the east by Asphodel Meadows.
