A cultural mecca at the tip of the peninsula, Calista's Citadel stands firm against the crashing waves of the sea. Marble walls, over 100 feet high, wrap around the bustling city, who's interior holds a labyrinth of winding streets and alleyways, lined with weathered buildings of centuries past. Stone facades bear the scars of generations: graffiti, esoteric runes, and crude markings, all evoke the complex tapestry of its history. Woven into the antiquity are sleek structures of steel and glass, electrical infrastructure, neon beacons, and contemporary boutiques, cafes, and galleries. The echoes of ancient merchants mingle with the chatter of modern-day patrons, creating a vibrant ambiance that blends the old and the new. Wizards, warriors, and all the peoples of the Runiverse can be found here, a cosmopolitain conflux like nowhere else.
Calista's Citadel is located in the central region of the known Runiverse. It lies on the west coast of the known continent due southeast from Kobold's Crossroad in between Red Wizard Capital and Alessar's Keep, on the eastern shores of the Brine.
