Sun cats are mostly found in the desert regions of the Runiverse, and are sometimes adopted as familiars by Wizards in those areas. The Sun Cat is also included as one of the 13 signs of the Runic Zodiac.

Rumors

Some Wizards allege that due to adaptions to their habitat, Sun Cats are able to absorb the sun's rays for energy. They can even store this energy, without consuming it, for long periods of time (similar to camels with water). Some enterprising mages have reportedly figured out how to harness this energy, making the sun cat a popular familiar for desert wizards.
