The distribution was influenced by the concept of Affinity, which was new to the general NFT scene at the time. When fellow wizards like TV, jintao and O discussed Affinities, O was the first to voice the Ethos of purchasing your Forgotten Runes identity based on more intangible parameters such as personal preference, perfectly encapsulated in the now widely accepted Ethos of Like Wizard, Buy Wizard.
