Blue mages have recently begun the development of headset technology the can augment reality, or even create a brand new virtual world. This is obviously nothing novel for wizards themselves, but for others this technology is revolutionary. The ability to amplify the environment around them or create brand new experiences has expanded the consciousness of the average Runizen. Unfortunately this technology has had the unintended consequence of causing some people become obsessed. Much like magic can corrupt the mind.. so can technology it seems.
