A homely fortress occupying an island in a mangrove, Fort Turtle is the base of a peculiar rank of terrapin warriors. With its domed roof, the structure is fortified with ancient shells of giant tortoises. The warriors of this modest garrison are slow and grey, stubbornly upholding forgotten traditions. Their battles are buried deep in the salty mud, and they putter about the swampy mangroves, moss gathering on their armor and shields. Lost in deep thought as if living in days gone by, they tend to the large tortoises who's years stretch back even further, with the scars on their shells being the only remnants of their vague histories.
Fort Turtle is located in the southeastern part of the known Runiverse. The fort lies on its own island just past the narrowest section of the southern straits.
