The Duck Doll is a curio from the Runiverse originating from the colloquial use of the term "Duck" to refer, sometimes pejoratively, to non-magical people. However, the term has been reappropriated by those of the Duck Alliance, and many of these Duck Dolls may be found at the Alliance's Headquarters as well as in open-air markets around the Runiverse.
These cute curiosities are also remarkable for their resemblance to the specific Ducks that some Warriors keep as Companions.
Meta Lore
Duck Doll is an Athenaeum Item resulting from a collaboration with Magic Machine and Yuga Labs for Otherside. Though it is considered part of the Athenaeum in the Runiverse, the NFT resides in the "Otherside Partner Loot" Collection.
The Collection's description states:
"Partner Loot are interoperable within the ecosystem of their partner collections."
Visual Difference
Unlike Athenaeum Items released by Magic Machine directly, Otherside Partner Loot items are distinctly differentiated in appearance by their border on a gradient background.
