Bugbear Boonies

The backwater home of the Bugbears, an idyllic nook tucked in a valley between the Nightmare Dominion and the Green Wizard Jungles. Isolated not only by the treacherous mountainous crags and dense jungles that surround it, but also the aggressive guardianship of the Bugbears themselves, this rustic little eden contains unique flora and fauna not found anywhere else in the Runiverse. The Bugbears maintain an unchallenged dominion over this region, and are quite fond of the bush pigs that thrive here. A special orchid blooms on the misty slopes here, which the bugbears dry and crush to make their distinctive pink warpaint. This orchid is thought to have many other valuable alchemical properties, but the bugbears guard it with stubborn tenacity.
The Bugbear Boonies is located in the southern part of the known Runiverse. The boonies lie north of the Dark Sentinel.
