Intended to be a rare companion in the Warriors collection, with the intent for about 8 of them to be generated. However, due to an oversight, it was only set to generate on warriors possessing a 5/5 Pirate affinity. Because no Warrior was genned with that prerequisite, this companion never appeared in the collection at all. Despite not actually making its way into the collection, it was quietly uploaded on Discord as an emoji to be discovered as an Easter Egg. It wasn't until Wizard Wednesday 2022-11-09 that Dotta was questioned about its origins where the truth was eventually revealed.

Apparently Bearsnake was against its inclusion in the collection because he believed it didn't make sense for sharks to be on land. Despite this, it seems to be favorable within the community.
