The cacophony of Bugbear Bongos can be heard during almost any gathering of Bugbears—in both celebration and in battle. Visitors of Bugbear Temple also claim to hear the sounds of these drums when the Chieftain is away.
There are rumors that traditional Bugbear Bongos were constructed with heads made of Kobold and bodies from the bamboo in the Bamboo Forests, though there is little proof on this matter.
Meta Lore
Bugbear Bongos are an Athenaeum Item resulting from a collaboration with Magic Machine and Yuga Labs for Otherside. Though it is considered part of the Athenaeum in the Runiverse, the NFT resides in the "Otherside Partner Loot" Collection.
The Collection's description states:
"Partner Loot are interoperable within the ecosystem of their partner collections."
Visual Difference
Unlike Athenaeum Items released by Magic Machine directly, Otherside Partner Loot items are distinctly differentiated in appearance by their border on a gradient background.
