Wizard Wednesday March 29th (1)

=

Elf: [00:00:00] It is Wednesday We are wizards and today is the magical day that we call Wizard Wednesday. Channeling in from the quantum downs with quantum style. This is Elf and End. Doda

Bearsnake: and Bear. What's going on? You like my

Elf: sack solo bear. That was amazing. You, I mean, talk about cult content. I did not know you could sing so well.

Bearsnake: Listen, put me on the brass any day careless

Elf: whispers. Yo. So good. Uh, yeah, that was inspired by something Jitsi shared today in the Discord, which I think Mala made it. Um, yeah, it was basically bear singing the uh, George George Michael Song.

Bearsnake: I almost fell out of my chair when I [00:01:00] saw that. It's

Elf: just too good.

So good. So good, too good. Um, we've got a huge show today. We're gonna answer cult questions. We're gonna talk about 3d, we're gonna talk about wizards wearing wigs. Uh, we're gonna talk about other side. And, uh, we're gonna talk about, uh, basically, uh, the impending existential crisis that, uh, humanity is getting closer to every day.

But first, let's, uh, I, I just have a quick question. What is with the wizards wearing wigs,

Bearsnake: wizards awesome.

Dotta: Yeah. I think it was wise, Sam. I don't want to give credit to some, some the wrong person. I think it was Wise Sam, who first, uh, he wanted to have like wizard. Dues day or something. And is that like a new hairdo or something?

I'm pretty sure it was

Elf: kicked off by Weis Sam, I'm not sure. Okay. [00:02:00] Cuz I was thinking this is some more Hall of Cats' nonsense, but it's uh, it's, it's Wise Sam nonsense. Got it.

Bearsnake: It might, it might be. Yeah. I don't why it might be wise. Sam in, in, in the Hall of Cats. He's in the Holocaust, so that's, it's still problem, I think, think it's about

Elf: toxic combination.

Okay. Yeah. Toxic

Dotta: gives your wizard a warrior a cool haircut Tuesday. Yeah. I guess. True.

Elf: Got it. Okay. Well's terrifying. Um, yeah, there, there's been some, some seriously serious nightmare fuel coming out of that whole movement. Um, let's put an into it, uh, right now. Um, okay. Uh, another quick update. Uh, we just tweeted, um, uh, our friends over at Worldwide Web three.

I, I, they've got like some kind of new, uh, PVP mini game going on. Do you guys know much about this? I, I think lock knows the most about it.

Bearsnake: Uh, if you're here lock Yeah, I [00:03:00] see lock up here. I, I do know that, you know, I saw that team, they had a really great, um, booth at East Denver and they were showing off this like, PVP game that we just shared some footage of.

Um, it was really impressive. The game was just, not surprisingly, they, that that team over there just executed a really fun game. Um, and now you can be beating up all the other P F P projects in a video game.

Elf: Okay. Looks, do you have any input looks? Yeah, it looks like it's letter

Dotta: J. The, just so we're clear, uh, letter J was the, uh, creator through Hall of Cats of the Wizard Haircuts.

So I'm sharing up

Elf: some of the tweets up top. Yeah. I'm glad we clarified that. Mm-hmm.

Bearsnake: God forbid cats still get credit for something. We would, we would never,

Madotsuki: yeah.

Elf: Hey, hey Matt.

Madotsuki: Hello. Yeah, [00:04:00] I think the, I think the worldwide web thing, it's like a five five, um, PVP for like, so, so you actually have to like up with other people. Um, and it's. You play matches, like you take, shoot static effects on each other and stuff. So, um, got it. Yeah, I think the, the wizard noun should work too, so if you have wizard nouns, you should have, you should be able to choose like either wizard or wizard noun for playing in the game, so.

Bearsnake: Oh, fun. Oh, that's cool. That's amazing. Yeah,

Madotsuki: we have two different walks, cycles. If you have a wizard and we have wizard. No. I love it. Yeah.

Elf: And the ards? Yeah, specifically, um, there are these windows for rank to play and, um, for wizzy specifically, whoever has the highest, um, ELL ranking, which in the tweet you can sort out all the details.

Cause I'm, I'm also not a hundred percent tuned in on the details, but I just know that the wizard specifically our community, has a [00:05:00] chance to win a small apartment. Um, if you specifically play during these hours, which I think it started right now, um, e s t five to seven for the next two hours, you get like extra bonus points during your play time, which, um, help you rank to win a small apartment.

So, yeah. Fantastic. Um, yeah, I just, I gotta say, you know, the Worldwide Web three team is one of my favorite, uh, 2D Metaverse teams. Um, I put them right up there with the, uh, nifty Island guys who are doing a 3D meta. Um, but just always awesome stuff coming out of that team. Um, the, the only other one I can think of is like Atlantis World.

Um, actually there's a few others there, there's a few others coming up, but I, I feel like, I feel like Worldwide Web Three is, uh, is, is, is probably one of the most impressive ones I've seen to date. Um, so I'm really glad that Wizards are in that. Um, and yeah, if, if you want more information on [00:06:00] this pvp uh, game, it's, uh, it's tweeted from, uh, the Wizard account.

Um, awesome. Uh, okay. We got a bunch of cult questions unless there's anything more to say on that. I just

Dotta: shared a bunch more of these wizzy haircuts. I'm sorry, I'm just hung up on this. I can't get over it. Up over here. Ball for real. No cap. Well, crypto ball with the

Elf: long-haired eggplant dying. No.

Honestly, I think my favorite was the one that had curlers in their hair. Yes. Oh, I saw that. I saw Where is

Dotta: that?

Elf: I love imbalances. Like side mohawk thing going on.

Bearsnake: We look good with hair. So good. We look really

Elf: good with hair. Yeah, it's, it's pretty good.

Bearsnake: I think that was a big mist on your part aal when creating the [00:07:00] collection.

Yeah. Really. Should, really, should have put some more hairstyles in here.

Elf: Well, I mean, somebody else is doing it for me, so, uh, have collection wigs

Bearsnake: like Jimmy Jag with this like epic ass long mullet. I mean, come on, that's, come on. That's just, that's outta this world.

Elf: Love it. Um, okay, I'm gonna jump to court questions and, uh, Cheba, uh, has has a real banger.

He's, he's asking, uh, can you just try to pronounce my name? That's it. And I say Cheba, but in the Discord. He's got a different name. So I'm, I'm gonna give it a shot. Um, er, Gio, how about that? Did I say it right?

Bearsnake: I get, I don't know how to say it right, but I would say that's probably like a seven and a half.

Maybe an eight.

Elf: Seems good to me. I, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll take the eight. No, um, no, you forgot

Dotta: it. There's two [00:08:00] fr. It's

Madotsuki: Gio.

Elf: Oh, you're, you're right, you're right. Mado. Okay. Lemme try again, Gio.

Bearsnake: Ooh. That was definitely an eight.

Elf: Okay.

Bearsnake: By the way, if I tried to say it would be like a three or four, so I'm gonna

Dotta: stay

Elf: outta it.

Okay. Um, okay. Here's a question for the team, uh, from Tonya Del Rio. She's asking, uh, who's the most busing?

Dotta: Jean.

Elf: Okay. Snake.

Madotsuki: Snake is the most

Bearsnake: busing. No, no, no. I think it's hands down, it's now Gene. I, I, I have a picture of Nalgene in the parking lot next to the Barric Cave that I've really wanted to post on Twitter for so long, but I didn't want to dock them. Um, but maybe today's the day I'm gonna ask his permission.

He's busting,

Elf: he is pretty busting. Um mm-hmm. It, it's, it's a competition between him and Cosmo. Who, who have the best [00:09:00] hair in the, Hmm,

Bearsnake: true. I don't know. Locke. Locke showed up at the cave a couple weeks ago and, and had incredible hair. That's true. I feel, I feel like Locke needs to be on this list. She may even be in pole position.

Elf: Okay. Um, all right. So, so yeah, that, that, there's your busing question, Tanya. It's probably now Gene in second place. Uh, it might be Bear. Um, okay. Speaking of Bear, Snoop Dug has a question for you. Bear Snoop, Snoop was at a party and Bear Snick was not there. How did that happen?

Bearsnake: Uh, listen, the, uh, quantum Portal was actually down that night.

Um, so I wasn't able to, to attend, but I, I think, I think solos, uh, referencing a, uh, like a seventies dance party that the Wizards attended on Friday night while I was at, uh, G D C in San Francisco.

Elf: I think that's what he is talking about. Well, first of all, [00:10:00] I, I, this is Snoop Doug. Not, not solo. Oh, sorry.

Snoop.

Bearsnake: Snoop Doug. Snoop Doug. I think that's what Snoop

Elf: Doug was referencing. Oh, okay. Okay. Got it. Um, okay. Question for the team, uh, from Wild Ma. Uh, who is next to publish lore in the book of Lo Dota, bear, snake or Elf? Um, as I've been saying, I've got my lore written in my head. What about you guys?

Bearsnake: That doesn't, you're saying that, that, that, that, like, that counts.

That doesn't count?

Elf: Well, I, I'm saying I've at least taken that step. Have you guys even taken that

Bearsnake: step? Oh, I have two paragraphs Rose, and they're

Elf: perfect.

And the sad thing about Dota is he doesn't even have his wizard to write Lord, with. So

Dotta: I have my own wizards though. Uh, I have stuff in the works. I like always have something in the works, but you know, it's, it's gonna take some time before we get up in the book. In the

Bearsnake: book, we're really, I'm just [00:11:00] gonna say the three of us are failing pretty hard right now on this real hard. I think we should, I think we need to like, have some accountability and apologize that we have not written the book of Lord.

It's not because we don't have the intention or not because we haven't started to craft, uh, story for ourselves, but there's a lot of pressure, everybody, geez, a lot of pressure to put, to put Lo in the book for us.

Elf: Well, to be clear, I have written Lo for my Wizard Zero. Um, it may be only a few sentences, but it's, it's appropriate for that particular wizard.

To be clear, I did code the book of Lord. Yeah. Yeah, totally. Fair enough. So what's your excuse bear?

Dotta: Uh,

Bearsnake: I, I don't know. I feel like I have 10,000 amazing excuses. They may not be as good as your. Coding the book of Lord. But, uh, trust me. Oh man, I can Oz excuses.

Dotta: Oz just posted a really amazing, uh, gif or [00:12:00] picture in the secret tower that maybe could go on page

Elf: one.

Yeah. Oz, this is fantastic. Like you must have just now drawn this in the last incredible. I love how Theros are like

Dotta: the music coming out. Oh

Elf: my God, it's so good.

Bearsnake: Oh yeah, that's me. I'm gonna have, I'm, I'm, I'm gonna have to get Tad on on a little

Elf: animation here. Oh, so good. That looks like a new PFP for you.

Bear. Seriously? Yeah,

Bearsnake: right. Click and save baby. Yeah.

Madotsuki: I wanna know the lower behind Harper. The Majestic. Is that like a pony that turned into a warrior? Who is that?

Elf: Uh,

Madotsuki: I think that's Dotas Harper. The Majestic is like a cat head that has a lollipop and a little blue, uh, blue triceratops.

Elf: Oh, is this one of your warriors?

Doda. Oh,

Dotta: uh, girl Bop. [00:13:00]

Madotsuki: Somebody on the

Bearsnake: team owns it. That sounds like Doda.

Dotta: Uh, you know, I am embarrassed that I don't know the names of all my warriors

Elf: Actually. That sounds so familiar though. Um, Harper The Majestic. I'm looking it up right now.

Madotsuki: Just posted in Secret Tower.

Elf: Oh yeah. Oh man. It, it's, yeah. Wait, Donna, how did you get ahold of this warrior?

I've been wanting this one forever. I thought

Dotta: this was

Elf: Miss's Warrior. It's in the Dota

Bearsnake: Vault. Send Doda. I'll arm wrestle you for this warrior.

You're not even in the call. Aca. I need this. Let me borrow it.

Elf: Yeah. That's a hell of a warrior. I love it. So, so, um, meadow, why

Dotta: are you bringing it up by the way? You were just like pointing it out as, as a, as a warrior. That was good. A

Madotsuki: warrior that I would like to put the lure [00:14:00] behind. Like it has like a special, it has the, the name scheme follows like the name Schemes of ponies, but it's a warrior.

Harper the Majestic.

Bearsnake: Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. She, that was a mistake that Al

Elf: was probably not.

Bearsnake: No. Yeah, that was like at 3:30 AM the night before the mint. When

Elf: Oh God. Don't even, don't even go there. When the

Bearsnake: three of us were up. Oh my God. That's crazy. Oh, what

Elf: a night. Um, okay, moving on with the cult questions.

Um, Uh, Bard, Bumble is asking, oh, here's, this is for you, Donna. Uh, any updates on Goblin Town? Yes. You still

Dotta: have to wait. So we have, uh, like, uh, a few people helping out. So I actually hired, uh, two people this week on contract to help me get some of the stuff over the edge, over the [00:15:00] like line. Um, you know, I'm getting a bit more like comfortable with the idea of dropping the crates.

So the mint for Goblin town will be crates, right. So, um, everybody gets the airdrops according to all the things we keep talking about. Um, and then other people can mint, uh, if they want to, to buy some. So yeah, I don't, I don't have an exact date for when that mint will be. Um, we're still like several weeks out.

It's pretty much like a full game. Uh, so that's taking me longer than I expected, but we're working on it. That's the update. AI still cannot write Goblin Town yet, but it's getting closer every day.

Bearsnake: I'm so excited for it. I'm so excited for it. It's gonna be great. Um, we just have to battle test it internally.

Dota and NIS and the whole team are just been, I I, I, I think I said this to you yesterday, Dota, like, I, I don't like Dev Dota because I don't get to talk to you nearly as much and, and you're kind of like in this [00:16:00] like super serious mood. It's, it's, uh, I like the other Dota so I can't, feels the same way.

It's

Dotta: not just you.

Bearsnake: So that's my main, my main reason for wanting to ship Goblin Town is like we get Dota back.

Elf: Ferrell, what up

Ferrell

Bearsnake: County Nas? Is that you?

Elf: He's on mute. Muted. Um, okay, so there's the Govan Town update, and then Slim has two questions. Uh, wait. Ferrell, are you there?

Okay. While he

Dotta: loads, I have an answer to Zuki, which is Oh, okay. That, uh, Harper the Majestic is actually a custom that I built, uh, or that rather my daughter built. So, uh, who goes by [00:17:00] her? Her wizard handle Catherine the Great, um, I'm looking here in our notes and she actually picked out those traits and named that that lawyer.

Oh. So that's why I have it, that's why it has a name that's a bit, uh, untraditional. Uh, but that's, that's the

Bearsnake: story. This is great. This is great news for me, cuz I'm pretty sure I can beat your daughter in an harmlessly mask.

Madotsuki: Oh my God.

Bearsnake: And, and, and I'll say, I don't mind taking candy from a baby.

Madotsuki: It's not, it's great.

She has great taste. That's one of my favorite warriors in collection. That's what I pointed it out like. I know that someone on the team has it and it's like, wow.

Elf: Yeah. She's a beauty. Um, okay. Slim is asking, uh, what corporation would you want to work with for the Wizards, um, corporation? I dunno if there's like some subtext behind that question, but I'll just answer it on stage.

Monsanto. Monsanto, that's, that's [00:18:00] your answer. Yeah. Ok. That's why, I know that's a weird

Dotta: question. I don't know what you mean.

Elf: Sorry. No, go ahead. Oh, I mean, I don't know what he means either. Um. I don't think, you know, I would say Disney, but I don't think we wanna work with them. I think we want to, uh, dominate them.

Um, Bob Iger. I mean,

Dotta: look, I wouldn't be sad if the Wizard Show. I wouldn't be sad if the Wizard Show was on Disney Plus. Right. If they offered it. I wouldn't say no.

Bearsnake: Sure. I agree. I agree with that. Listen, we, they, they're on the list. They're on the list. We wouldn't say, we wouldn't necessarily say no, but God, they drive a really hard deal.

Elf: I'm gonna say, uh, I would work with Big Potion. Um, yep. Yep. And then Slim is also asking, uh, what, uh, what up with the land sale and price. Uh, I guess he's asking when land sale and how [00:19:00] much. Do we have to pay for land? Uh, is that

Dotta: a que, was is that the question? That, is it saying like, what is the price? Or is it saying like, why the

Elf: price?

Like off?

Bearsnake: Not sure. No. When. I think it's

Madotsuki: when and how much. Think when. What's the price? Yeah, when and how much?

Elf: Yeah. Uh,

Dotta: don't know. Don't have the pricing table in front of me. Um, I don't know. Matto, you're kind of closer even to that than I am in terms of

Elf: Yeah. Official line. Yeah.

Madotsuki: I would say, um, we definitely, we pushed back.

Um, we did plan on having it, um, like as I said, I think it was mentioned before that it was gonna be this month. Um, we pushed back a bit. Uh, we wanna have some more room for marketing and also don't wanna like overlap too much with Golftown either. Um, as term in terms of pricing, uh, we're pricing it in, um, the ballpark price for the settlement, which is like the cheapest one, probably around like 500 US dollars.

We don't have like an e price yet cuz everything's fluctuating and like, we'll decide that more like when. We're closer to it. [00:20:00] Um, in the meantime, um, for I am, I've been given the okay to kinda like post more updates in terms of, um, what you can expect from our white papers coming out soon. So more gameplay, mechanics and such.

So yesterday in the Discord I posted, um, a little sneak peek about like the dungeons and like how they're gonna function. Um, and I mentioned in there that, um, the idea for, for how dungeons are gonna work are, um, there's gonna be storylines that are, that they're gonna be involved with, um, and interactive stories that you play with through the dungeon.

And some, um, players, um, some community submissions could work for those storylines as well. So it'll be a way for the community to kinda build, build quest lines and stories that can weave into the universe, um, that other players can experience as well. Um, so I mean, we're, we're getting closer to actually, like, I mean, like, I know we, we pushed it back a bit.

We have a lot of material that we're planning on kind of like spacing through, so we make sure we get, we get like a wider audience, um, caught with our landfill when we do launch it. Um, but definitely [00:21:00] it's, it's in the works I wanna say. Um, Internally, they just finished like the, like the, the mint experience.

Um, that looks really fun and I can't wait for you guys to see that. It looks so, so good. It looks, it's really good. Yeah, it's really good. So, yeah, so with the wheels returning on it, um, I just ask, please be patient. Uh, I, I don't have a set, I don't have a date in front of me myself. I think we're kind of like, um, just kind of like, um, seeing a bit like how, how we can plan out material, um, to lead up to it properly.

Um, but it is very soon, uh, you're gonna see the white paper come out for that first. That's like in nearing like it's final drafts. Um, and then, so then I'll be, like I said, I'll be posting updates. I think I'm gonna be posting it. Um, I'm gonna start posting 'em on Wednesday. Um, so, so I can also do like a nice weirded Wednesday, like highlight for it as well.

Um, so just like what, what I did for the Dungeons, I'll be posting some snippets from the paper I think are really cool, um, to kind of preview before the full wiper paper comes out. So,

Dotta: Yeah, there you go. I think I say this every time, which is like, it doesn't help anyone [00:22:00] for the reverse land to mint out like halfway.

You know? It, it's like, it's better for all parties if there's, uh, quite a lot of demand for it. Um, and so we're just making sure that we have everything in order and it's not slowing down development to push back the mint for kinda the right,

Madotsuki: so. Right, right. Like, it's still constantly developed regardless of how, how the mint's being pushed back.

It's not like, you know, we're like, the team is just sitting down, um, every day. There's, there's developing updates internally, um, and there's still a lot of the game to flesh out. It's gonna be live updates, so it's not like, you know, the game is out and it's just like version one. That's it guys. So like, there's still gonna be constant development even after the game is out, so you don't have to worry about if it's being pushed back in terms of development.

It's just being pushed back in terms of when we're gonna actually do the land sale and when we're gonna have like a, the player will build out that we want for people. But nothing is actually like, you know, development wise being held back. Um, Yeah. Uh, oh. And another note. There's going to, um, um, tying into that, there's gonna be a survey that I'm probably be pushing out this week.

So keep an [00:23:00] eye out for that. And with that survey, we're gonna kind of like gauge interest in terms of the land sales, so have a better idea for, um, in terms of pricing and in terms of how much we're gonna initially, um, release. So just keep an eye on our discord and our Twitter for that survey. Um, and they'll, they'll give us a better idea and, you know, make it easier for us to understand when we punch it out.

Elf: Great. Um, okay, another question from Mr. Rasu. He says, uh, when 3D Derrick, um, I think he's referring to the, the KT head, which is like the, the wizard with the baldhead and the red beard. Um, it's actually done. Uh, so, you know, I, I, I actually shared a ton of 3D heads today. Um, what I shared is just like a small sliver of what is actually finished.

Um, so yeah, I'll, I'll share some more, uh, soon, including that one. Um, yeah, I wanna talk [00:24:00] more about 3D today. But first, lemme get through all the questions. Uh, B mark is a, is saying important announcement. Uh, cabinet of curiosities, treasure trove still contains unclaimed ards and the deadline to claim them is on Sunday.

Uh, love, I love the cabinet of curiosities. Um, v mark is awesome. Uh, okay, I think that's all the questions. Um, and before I jump into 3d, I wanna start with, uh, something awesome that happened over the weekend that I'm sure everybody's aware of, uh, which was the second trip on the other side. Um, and I wanna get like Dota and Baron and, and Mado and everyone else's takes, but like, my take is, I'm so thrilled that it was good.

Um, this just, this is just like a, a really great, uh, preview of where I think Web three is going, where, uh, [00:25:00] interoperable N F T assets are going. Everybody seemed to love it. I don't think I really saw very many critics or haters at all. Um, and I'm just very excited. Uh, but, but yeah, that's, that's, that's all for me.

Yeah,

Dotta: I, uh, played the demo, or not the demo, but like, I took the trip. It was really super duper fun. Um, it was like crazy to see so many people at the same time. You know, I, I, I tweeted out that like, I'd never participated in a video game that had so many simultaneous players, and I was told that like, um, Fortnite has done games with like far more, right?

Like 15 million concurrent or something, which is crazy. Um, yeah, but

Bearsnake: they, but they dunno. But sorry, not to cut you off. I think the difference is, is that they had like different servers running, so not everybody was actually that I was gonna say instance. Yeah.

Dotta: Exactly, exactly. I don't like, I don't rem you know, I've seen, I don't know how many they have for server or [00:26:00] whatever.

Maybe it's more than 10,000. I don't even know all that to say. It's like very rare regardless. Right. Like, okay, fine, Fortnite, maybe it's done more. But, but other than that, I haven't seen, I haven't like, played a game with that many people and it was super fun. Um, the, like the art was incredible. The, like, they basically had this sort of stylized art that was, um, this like really great tune shader for the world.

Um, one of the things that I loved is how much it was like an event. I don't actually know who the narrator was. Does anybody know who the narrator was? But he's like hilarious. I thought it was a recording at first and it was actually live. No, it's live.

Bearsnake: Live. Yeah, it's live. I could have sworn. They did the same thing, um, for the first trip.

And I agree with you. I thought it was so neat to have someone sort of live walking the, the group of players through the experience. It was very, um, it just made it feel like you were actually there in real time. And, you know, there [00:27:00] were him and I think there was a coda that was talking, they were like responding to people who were doing silly things in the audience.

And, um, I, I, for some reason I thought it was like a comedian, I could be wrong, someone probably has the answer, but I feel like the comedian may have, may have been, they,

Elf: let's just note that Forgotten ROEs was one of the small handful of projects that was invited into the second trip. Um, I mean, let's just acknowledge that.

Yeah, yeah,

Bearsnake: that's a good call. Let's definitely acknowledge that. What, there's like 10 or 11 projects and two of them were the wizards of the souls, which by the way, so happy that, um, they ended up sort of parsing those out. Um, and so souls got their own love. But yeah, I mean, if people didn't know, I mean, you all know here this is, we're just still so in the beginning of what we're building and we, uh, we're, we're honored to sort of be, it's not surprising, [00:28:00] but still like honored to be a part of sort of this top tier.

You know, groups. Um, and it's only because the, our community is incredible, but yeah, like, uh, I think everybody knows where we stand now.

Madotsuki: Yeah. I can't wait until the next one. I hope that they actually allow 3D models and like, we'll actually have the wizard models ready. But I was kind of joking that like, if they don't have their models ready, like maybe they wouldn't wanna put models up because they wouldn't want like wizard styling on them while they're still with like the generic robots and like you have a bunch of wizards walking around.

Dotta: It was very fun to like to run around in that world and like, Um, and, and see everyone in the game was like incredibly colorful. I think that like, it's gonna be very hard for another sort of web three project to catch up to them in terms of this idea of like this, this global metaverse that everybody kind of takes part in the, I think that, you know, the, another project that I felt is like sort of similar if they decide to embrace Web three [00:29:00] might be like how, um, Fortnite released Unreal Engine for Fortnite.

So if you're not, haven't been following, you know, game dev news, basically Fortnite released an editor over the past couple of weeks where, uh, you're able to actually add your own, um, Like scenes and games and objects and NPCs. And so, um, mags Wasier was actually playing with that this week, already getting like the secret tower into Fortnite.

One of the problems there is that we weren't able to, um, you're not able to put skins in there yet. Um, But I would love, like, one of the things that I'm starting to see as a path for our community is like, maybe there's a way that like the owners of the tokens could potentially license, um, their skin to some of these, like other engines.

Like just completely hypothetically, how cool would it be if there was a way that you could like license your wizards ski as a skin in Fortnite? And then like if someone pays for it in Fortnite, then they're like, we, you know, Fortnite gets a fee. We get a fee. And then like the, the [00:30:00] owner of the, the skin who like license that skin also gets a fee.

Like that could be an incredible source of like, uh, revenue. Now you might say, well, I don't want other people to play as my wizard. Fine. Like, you don't have to enable that, that rate, that would be opt in. But I think it's just very interesting to see these like new metaverses providing both like opportunities for play, but also opportunities for commerce, um, with basically the, let's call it the IP of Forgotten Ruin.

Bearsnake: That's what got me so excited about the Unreal, um, or the Fortnite editor, is that not only can you build using their engine and, and, you know, you can create your own island, your own version, um, of Fortnite in, in whatever you can dream of. But the idea is that you can actually be selling skins, right?

That they're providing and hopefully they can open up skins and other items and, and you get to keep 40% of the revenue. I just thought that was, that was one of the things that Gdc that really hit me hard, this idea of, uh, of being able to basically build off of the Fortnite engine and then start monetizing [00:31:00] it.

It reminds me of like, Roblox and how, you know, independent and Minecraft independent developers build in their own servers and have people come in. It, it feels like a similar strategy.

Elf: Yep. I'm just, just, uh, I just wanna repeat, uh, forgotten. Ros was invited into second trip. Uh, so that's very exciting. Um, and yes, our 3D stack is growing.

It's expanding, um, the first wave of 3D wizard rigs, uh, our so close to being done. Um, let me just tell you what we have left. So, uh, the texturing, uh, is, is almost done a again, I shared a bunch on my Twitter today. Uh, that's just a small sliver of what is actually done. Um, we're still testing out a lot of animations to make sure the rigs are good.

Um, I, I, I shared that, uh, wizard dancing GIF yesterday. Um, you know, stuff like that is [00:32:00] even like part of the whole testing round, just to make sure. That these rigs are deforming correctly and animating. Right. Um, another big thing that we're working on is we've, we're building a whole new page on our website where you will, we will be able to see your 3D model.

You'll be able to test some animations on it. Um, our very own Mag Wazer has been working night and day on this. Uh, in fact, last night he shared some really fun ideas, uh, that I think we're gonna implement. Um, Uh, you'll be able to see your wizards lore next to your 3D model. Um, and, you know, it's, it's just getting so close and I'm, I'm just so glad that we took the time to make them right.

Um, y you guys would not believe how many iterations we went through with these 3D models. We, we went through a whole thing with an entirely different studio. [00:33:00] We've, we've been, uh, in collaboration with other teams that are making metas. Uh, it's been nearly like a year of, of concepting and testing and prototyping.

Um, but I think we're finally in a really good place and I'm just happy with the result. Um, and, and like we've been saying, the, the soul character rigs are coming up ne like as soon as, as the wizards are done, I mean, I've already got all the heads modeled. I'm 50% done with the bodies. Uh, just rigging and texturing is left on that.

Um, and as we said last week, you know, if you think the wizards are cool, wait until you see the souls. They're just like, They really are almost a premium character cuz they just, they're, they're just gonna look So, um, I don't know, weird and fun and, and just, just different. Um, and you, you know, one thing I was thinking about this [00:34:00] morning is, uh, uh, obviously we have to do the legendary beasts in 3d.

Um, and, and it, and it's gonna be tricky cuz like some of the beasts are quadri pads. They, they basically have like a different form factor to their body. Um, and metaverse interoperability thus far, uh, seems to want like a humanoid rig model. So I, I don't know if it either, we like push these other metas to accept.

Unusual rigs, or we like redesign the Beasts as like a, like a humanoid in with a humanoid bipedal form. I mean, that could be really fun. I, I don't really know yet what the solution is, but something I'm definitely thinking about, I don't like it, I would guess.

Dotta: Huh? Sorry,

Bearsnake: I don't like it. I don't like having to change the, uh,

Elf: pedal.

Well, you haven't, you haven't seen my designs yet, bear.

Bearsnake: No, that's true. I probably, I probably will. I probably will like that.

Elf: Ok. I'll be quiet. [00:35:00] No, but, but, but seriously, like the Beast Masters. I'd love your opinion if you wanna DM you or whatever. Sorry. Donting, what were you saying? Uh,

Dotta: that I bet that there aren't many projects.

That create these sort of like epic, legendary beasts, uh, as models in the first place. So I, I would expect that there are, uh, some metas that would want them, right, that you, that you'd actually kind of bend over to have these like one-offs, uh, to have this like giant chimera walking around in your world,

Elf: right?

So, right. Yeah. It, you know, it's, but it's, it's like, it's got a ripple effect. It's like, okay, yeah, what are the animations, right? What exactly? It's like, okay, we can accept the quadri pedal rig, but then we have to have all the animations for quadri pads and it's just, it's crazy. Um, but anyway, that's it.

It's very in the weeds. Uh, two new speakers just came up, um, Turco and, and West. What's up guys?

Trouble [00:36:00] connecting mic's on mute. All right, I'll just move on. Um, but yeah, 3d, it's, uh, it's, it's so close, so damn close. I'm gonna be sharing more, uh, work as I get it, but it's, it's, again, it's just probably, it's like it's gonna take the project to, to a whole new level. Um, so I can't wait for that. Uh, another thing I've noticed is, uh, the sales bot has been popping off.

Have you guys noticed that? I have. Yes, I have. What up with that?

Bearsnake: People, people recognizing

Elf: game recognizes game.

Bearsnake: It's cause wizards be busting. I'm pretty sure it's the hair that's drawing people

Dotta: in. Yeah.

Elf: Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I, I don't know. That's, I guess that's all I wanted to say. I just like, especially on the Warriors, like people are like vacuuming up the Warriors.

It's been crazy. Um, but [00:37:00] uh,

Bearsnake: I

Dotta: feel like we've been just talking. I don't have anything. Yeah. I don't really have

Bearsnake: anything to say about that. Yeah. I don't know. I just feel like we've been just putting out a lot of information and new stuff and, and what's happening and, you know, uh, also, you know, being a part of, again, the other side and.

The small group of of projects that, that got included. I think that's helpful. I think there's just general, we, you know, general awareness that is, is building, you know, slow and consistent.

Dotta: Yeah. It's pretty easy to look around to your left and to your right and see that, um, there's just, I don't know, just these dead projects in the wake of the last year.

And so,

Elf: um, you know,

Dotta: while maybe I have my own wishes or thoughts about where the volume or price level should be, um, one thing's for sure is that basically like people like being a part of Forgotten Ruins because it's, it's mostly about lower not [00:38:00] floor. And so like, it's the, the variance hasn't been as high for us because there's like still a lot to do in terms of like friendship and storytelling, um, kind of regardless of the macro climate.

And so I think that like, um, Well, when the macro climate changes, like I think that's one of the key things for any N F T project right now is, you know, you do your best to try to thrive and do the best that you can, but, um, at the very least, like trying not to like absolutely die. And that just really comes through, like showing up every day and like delivering, um, as fast as you can as a team.

Elf: Damn right. Um, okay, I'm just scrolling through the secret tower to see if I missed anything. Uh, leg itus, uh, says that the results are in and, uh, Lord Humphrey, the Wise, which is not a pony, it's actually an ostrich, and this ostrich is being mounted by, uh, Magus Devin of the Quantum Downs. Uh, you are the winner of [00:39:00] the first Black Sand Race.

Amazing

Madotsuki: one that that's run so far, but yeah. Um, I actually pulled this out like, like last minute. I did, I did like some, like I did two good roles just, just earlier today that put me up in front.

Elf: Um, but is is it not cheating that you're riding an o ostrich and everyone else is riding a pony?

Madotsuki: No. Well, I mean, Lord, Lord Humphrey's great.

He's just fine. Everybody's, everybody loves him. Okay.

Elf: They, they're all, they're all fine with him being in a race as long to make him laugh. What, what is Lord Humphrey? Is he carrying like a little lunchbox? Is that what that is?

Madotsuki: It's a bag. It's like a bag of tricks. He has like, so he has, he has lots of stuff in it.

Uh, I actually, I actually wanna write more lore about him since I got him. He's like, he's a really fun little ostrich. Um, I think the lore that I have written, that I have in my head written for him is that he was like, pretty much like snooping around in, in the mushroom patch and he just happened to know which mushrooms.

He happens to know which mushrooms are the [00:40:00] ones, um, that, that were not going to pretty much be damaging to him. Um, and so he kind of, uh, caught Mag Devin's attention and, um, during the race, I actually wanna have that he actually, uh, bashed the, he, he pops some quantum mushrooms, uh, to get ahead. Um, he used, uh, like, uh, probability, he found out probabilities for like, the best path to take and he took them.

And then he ended up, cause he got like, I think like 30 points for the last role that I did and that like, put him straight in the lead. So I was like, oh, okay. Really good luck. Amazing.

Elf: Bear, bear. I know that you recently have been really impressed with Black Sands.

Bearsnake: Yeah. You know, I, I don't want to, yeah. Uh, how do I say this?

Legis is just unbelievable. Legis met in person. Um, And what a humble, awesome human being. Uh, just really appreciate him and what he's building. And, and yeah, I was, I was looking at the ponies the other day. I'm like, God, there's only three listed. [00:41:00] Um, and and ALJ was like, yeah, it's Black Sands, like everybody wants the pony.

And, and I just thought it was like such a, a, a beautiful example of, of how what we're building is supposed to work with the community and, and, and someone like Legis putting together a whole entire team of which I think like Bill and Acid and Oz, a bunch of people give a hoot, maybe have been like, sort of contributing to it and, and it's, it's just this like beautiful symbiotic relationship between the cult building and, and sort of what, what we put out there and just really appreciate that's happening.

I mean, that's what it's all about.

Elf: Agree. Yep. I love Black Sands. Uh, ever since Legist came in and. Sort of built that world. It's, it's just been so much fun. Um, and it gave, it just really gave new life to the ponies. Um, so yeah, really great stuff. Um, I wanna talk about, uh, AI for a second. Um, it's sort of [00:42:00] the, uh, sort of behemoth in the room.

Um, and it's just, you know, every day we're all seeing these beautiful and terrifying advances in ai, art, croat creation, and, and not even an art creation, but coding as well. Um, I know that Dota, like you and Nissy every once in a while are just like flipping out at the advancements you're seeing and the terrifying pace that it's moving.

Um, Yeah, and it's, it's just this sort of like artificial abyss that's opening its jaws wider every day, and it seems like the only appropriate response is to just walk right into it. Um, jitsu shared something in the discord today. It was basically, uh, text to world build. Um, you literally type in a description in a full 3D immersive world emerges.

[00:43:00] Um, you know, it, it this, I mean this just like totally redefines what world building means. Um, And so, you know, creating a world is like traditionally a power that's left to the gods. And, and now mortal meat bags with a laptop can do it. And these, these digital worlds are filled with an infinite amount of AI generated content from a.

Hilarious photos of Donald Trump being arrested to these fantasma Go nightmare videos of Will Smith eating spaghetti. I'm looking at you Mag Mag Wasier. Um, and, and, and every day we're, we're, we're all just asking, uh, why does the human race need to bother with making art anymore? Um, and, and you know, I, I've talked about it on Wizard Wednesday before I, you know, I still think human beings will continue to make art.

Um, that's a whole other thing. But, but there's still like another outstanding question, [00:44:00] which is how will we know what is made by a human? And how will we know what is made by a machine? And, and let's just assume that this really matters. Um, right now, to me, the only answer act is, is actually blockchain.

Um, because. This is the only tool out there that I know of that's able to, to track and authenticate the source for digital files. And the, the cryptography seems to be strong enough to be AI proof so far. Um, I I don't know if you have any insight into that Dota, um, so far. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Uh, so, so if that's the case, then, then these, these digital tokens, these NFTs uh, these creative primitives could be the last tether to humanity we have left.

I ironically, um, your forgotten Ros avatar is, is sort of your most [00:45:00] human, most durable, most AI proof. Mark you can put upon the world. Um, and, and when I see these forgotten rooms, tokens being used as a muse, as a creative primitive, as a, as a catalyst to create not just digital but physical content, I see humanity shine and say We are not forgotten.

And a really fun example of this that just popped up, I think it was yesterday or maybe the day before. Um, chemical imbalance, uh, one of the cult members made these amazing rugs, and the human hand is just so apparent in them. They're imperfect, they're rough, they're fuzzy. Th th they're so fuzzy that it's, they're like begging you to touch them with your fleshy human hand.

Um, they're, they're [00:46:00] so tied to the physical world that they're literally laying flat on the earth. They're like hugging it. And, and I look at these rugs and, and, and by the way, I'm for fortunate enough to have one in my physical possession. Um, and, and, and I begin to suspect that human handmade artwork will see sort of a renaissance.

Um, and in just sort of this ocean of AI, machine created content, um, And, you know, we, we can hopefully trust that the bot blockchain will, will authenticate all of our digital content, but the physical content for now is AI resistant. Um, and, and so I just love seeing all these physical forgotten ruin pieces and, and I love that Forgotten Ruins has inspired so much of it, um, to, you know, to today.

I, uh, in, in our discord, um, [00:47:00] frog was asking, I, is there any lore around the 3D Wizard Wizards? Uh, like is there a lore reason that they exist? And, and I, I said, I said, the quantum style superposition is what allows these wizards to exist in multiple dimensions at once. Um, and, and, and these multiple dimensions, and it includes the, the 2D pixel dimension, the polygonal 3D dimension, the, the flesh and blood meat space dimension, and the myriad materials available to us on this physical plane.

It, it all exists in a quantum superposition, everything everywhere, all at once. And, and when you wield this meta meme magic and everyone here can do it, when you do that, you find the wizard inside you. Um, so, you know, th I, I just, you know, this is the whole point. [00:48:00] Of, of the cult. This is what it means to put your ruin on the door.

And I, I think it's good to like just reiterate that once in a while and, and these, these rugs, that chemical imbalance made just, like, blew my mind. Um, and I, I just love them. I think that

Dotta: one of the things that AI does is, um, Emphasize the role of, like, the word and creation. So if you even, uh, look at like the Christian Bible and you look at like Genesis and it says, um, basically that God spoke and that he created the world into existence.

And, and one of the things that we're actually finding through AI is like a little bit of that power is being given to us, right? And then it's like totally. It's, it's actually always been the fact that, um, be being articulate is a superpower, right? Even if you become, uh, the [00:49:00] president of the United States, right?

Let's say arguably, you know, this strongest, you know, uh, person in the world, what's the first thing that they do? As soon as they're, they're done being a president, they write a book. Yeah. And this idea that you like, put your words down to be like, heard. By generations to, to, to create an meaning in the world is, is like very Lindy and like Everlasting.

And so like everything. So you look, see that throughout history, right? The Sumerians, the scriptures, senators are all using words to kind of leave their impact on the world. And AI basically is this like direct movement where I describe what I want and now I get a picture, now I get a video, now I get code.

And, and so learning to be articulate is actually like, um, the most valuable skill you can

Elf: have now. Yeah. This is why I actually put, uh, abracadabra on the very first page of the Book of Lore. [00:50:00] Um, a very common interpretation of the, of Abracadabra is I will create as I speak. Mm-hmm. Um, so, you know, this is, it's sort of just.

Poor tins, the, the, the power that is, that we're dealing with right now. Um, but, but yeah, it's just, I don't know. It's like, just the act of creation is, um, it's, it's so, it's like one of the like highest callings for, for a human being. And, and, and, and again, you don't have to have skill. You don't have to have quote, unquote talent because everybody has something unique to say.

Um, and that's what Forgotten Ruins hopefully inspires you to do. Um, okay. We only have like nine minutes left. Uh, there's actually one more announcement, which is pretty exciting. Uh, Dodo. Do you wanna announce it? Yeah. So the gallery

Dotta: page is live, so you can go to forgotten ruins.com/gallery. Um, [00:51:00] so there's a lot of hands involved in this, uh, getting this page up.

Uh, but in particular, I want to give a shout out to Cosmo who put a lot of time into the front end, nis, who did a lot in the back end, and then of course, uh, you know, elf and his designs and the team helping design it. So, uh, you know, this page maybe is a bit fundamental and something we should have had a long time ago, but I hope you like it.

Um, it's just one of the first, uh, of a handful of pages that we're putting together to basically make browsing the collections, um, easier and being able to store more. Well, uh, some we're, we're working on other pages on the website. We'll announce them as they come. But yeah, so you can look at the gallery page and hopefully that'll be an easier way for people to see the characters of the, uh,

forgotten.

Elf: Yeah, it's, it's a beautiful page. It's been a long time coming. Um, still a lot of things that we wanna do on the website, but I'm really glad we finally got that on there. Um, it just, it's [00:52:00] fantastic.

Bearsnake: I'm currently, uh, perusing all of the wizards that has SC scraps as the familiar Yeah,

Dotta: not very many.

Bearsnake: No. 18 to be exact.

Yeah. Anyway, yeah, it's beautiful. Great job team. It just looks so nice.

Elf: Yep. Um, okay. Speaking of creating, uh, there, there's been some really great cult content this week. Um, I just mentioned the rugs. Um, I want to shout out a few more people, uh, artists of the Rock. Uh, just today tweeted this really great, uh, uh, wizard, uh, in the style of like the old Max Fleischer, uh, animation from like the twenties and thirties, one of my favorite animation eras.

Um, and then, uh, solo pop, uh, garments of the Citadel. Talk about world building. These have been super fun. Um, [00:53:00] yeah. You know, some of them like are so good. It's like making me want to go back and change, like the 3D models there would kill me. Yeah,

Bearsnake: you take that back right now.

Elf: But yeah, no, there's super cool.

Um, and then, uh, Joan danger of riff rack, one of my favorite warriors, uh, did a really nice piece. Um, I, I just love that warrior so much. She's truly legendary. Um, and then speaking of Warriors, uh, Angus of Mu uh, just did some really, uh, great, uh, art of, of another warrior that I don't think I've heard of yet.

His name is Boop, Ilon of the Dojo. Hell of a name for a warrior. Boop boop. Yeah, his name's boop.

Madotsuki: Oh.

Elf: Yeah. It's so good. Yeah. Um, so yeah, really well done. Angus Mamu, uh, and then Blanca [00:54:00] Moko, uh, the Beastmaster of the Salt Kepi just, uh, a few days ago showed us some really great artwork. This beautiful cinematic piece of a, of the kelpie, like battling this like octopus Leviathan.

So good. Yeah. It's beautiful.

Bearsnake: It's really beautiful.

Elf: Yeah. It, one of my favorite things about the Kelpie is like, the Kelpie is like beautiful, but also kind of terrifying at the same time. Um, and, and Block of Moko is just real, a really great beast. Master for the Kelpie. Um, uh, Sean Brody, uh, posted, uh, an image in their house.

It looks like they framed, uh, issue zero of the comic book. Um, I, I love that people are framing these, uh, real quick bear any news on the, the comic book.

Bearsnake: So, uh, I don't know, I probably have said this before, but I just, um, signed off on the long form [00:55:00] agreement for the deal with the comic book publisher. So, I mean, we're done.

Uh, I'm, I'm supposed to sign it this week. It's very exciting. I know everybody's probably sick of me talking about it, but, um, we, we have our publisher, uh, just have to make it official and then we're gonna do a next little press release. Uh, but I'm hoping to sort of wrap this up in the next week or two.

Um, I think everybody will be, um, quite excited about, uh, sort of the level of publisher that we have. Um, they're actually based out of, um, Europe, but, um, so, so I think we're gonna get a lot of love in Europe. And of course, north America is their biggest, uh, territory as well. Um, but it feels very international, which, which I like.

We're gonna, we're gonna be all over the place. Um, we're even talking about. I think we'll likely bind the first, um, five of the 10 into a soft back book that will be in bookstores as well. So, uh, you know, excited to tell everybody about it. They handle [00:56:00] some of the biggest IP in the world. Uh, so we're, we're in good company.

It's very exciting.

Elf: It's very exciting. Bear has been working on this a lot, let's just say a lot. Yeah. You know, for a long time. And every week I say, bear, can we announce the comic? And he goes, no, not yet. Um, but maybe next week. Soon. Soon, soon. Okay. Um, okay. Uh, Druid Ferris, um, just picked up a grail warrior.

Uh, it is a beautiful warrior, I must say. Uh, Layla defender of glory. Um, she's got like this like, uh, Greek Pantheon, uh, affinity to her, and yet she's also got a mandrill baboon as her companion, which is just a really nice pairing. Um, and then Mado, uh, posted a really nice, a really nice, uh, derivative piece, uh, with artwork by, um, net Rio.

I'm not sure if I said that name right. [00:57:00] Uh, and then another one from Angus of Mu. Uh, it says, the drip of a true forgotten ruins Maxi. I'm guessing this is like a five year old kid, uh, who is just decked out in Forgotten Ruins gear. Um, wearing a, uh, a Mac Wasier, uh, hat, uh, a long, long lost defunct restaurant, Mac Wasier.

Um, and then, uh, finally, OSMA bro did this really nice piece. It's like a, it's like a map. Uh, and, and I'm guessing this is like, uh, like the geography of where Osma bro actually lives. And, and I know that this is a stylized pixelated rendition of your home, but damn, I want to go there. It, it looks, it looks, there's, there's

Dotta: two more.

One is, uh, Barron Court. There's, I don't know if it's a Mint or what, who knows about Barron Court? Matt, do you know? Can someone talk about it? Uh, but there's basically, you know, this tweet let [00:58:00] loose, loose the roost, uh, and some previews of what looks like a collection of some type of mount.

Madotsuki: Did you talk about that?

Yeah. I think they're doing a crossover with the, with Black Sand, and they're gonna have their commod mounts as, uh, reasonable. I don't know the full details of it actually. I just, I believe that's what's going to be the case. Um, don't quote me on that, but, um, I know, I know that Black Sand tweet it out too.

Dotta: Bill Gaines also posted, uh, the team page for Black Sands, and that's an important thing to, to note that there's just, uh, a, a huge group of folks from the cult, um, who are involved in, uh, black Sands as well. So

Elf: yep.

Madotsuki: Lots of good world building there from everybody, everybody contributing to it.

Dotta: Um, another thing to, to note would be, uh, the cabinet of curiosities.

So, uh, that is, uh, they've got about half of the enchanted mirror recovered. And so I think, uh, [00:59:00] well if you have some of those shards, you should, uh, claim them. I have a shard, um, here somewhere, and it came in my Maple Dad box, but I don't, I need to find it. I might've given it to my dad. I need to find it.

Madotsuki: Yeah, I think they said that the, the, you have deadlines, so this Saturday to claim them if you have them from the maple bed boxes. So if there's anybody who has, um, the treasure troves and you haven't claimed them yet, you can probably claim them. Um, you have to look in the, the planner. It should be in the planner.

There should be a QR code to claim them. So you 'em for this weekend, I think after this weekend they, they get automatically, uh, minted out and probably distributed to that way they can go ahead and, uh, complete the mirror.

Dotta: I better claim it.

Elf: I don't wanna miss out. Yeah, and

Madotsuki: they, they're, uh, 1, 1 50 fives and they're tradable.

So I think I, they think the plan is that you have to like, collect all the shards to like get the wizard for it. So, um, you know, if you have any that you're holding onto, and even if you don't want them, you could probably, [01:00:00] uh, trade 'em away for somebody who does want them. So that would complete the.

Dotta: Fantastic.

Bearsnake: Very cool. The other thing that, um, we should hit next week is, uh, my trip to GC Game Developers Conference. Um, we should talk about that. It's not, I mean, there's, I don't, the headline is, is that, I think I tweeted it, is that, you know, for all of the sort of friction that we, we sort of hear about from Web two gamers, um, Every other booth at G D C was about blockchain games and web three.

And so it was just, it was just quite apparent that, uh, regardless of how gamers feel, I think this idea of, um, being able to own assets within games, um, and items is going to be a thing 100%. It's not even an opinion anymore. It's just a matter of who's gonna lead the charge. Is it gonna be an upstart like Yuga or, or us [01:01:00] or is it gonna be a top-down thing from, you know, Activision or, or Epic?

Um, maybe it's a mix, but, um, absolutely the future's just, I just felt so, um, excited, uh, coming back, um, home from that trip. It was, it was, it was quite amazing.

Elf: Well, if the Metaverse then Web three is built correctly, then it should be everybody. It, it won't be top down, it'll be ho, horizontal.

Bearsnake: Um, let's keep

Elf: our fingers crossed.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know. You're, you're making me want to go on another, like 20 minute discussion, but let's do, let's do it next week.

Madotsuki: Let's next week. I, I think that there's, I think that there's definitely a hunger for it, and I think even developers recognize that too, when, especially when you see Fortnite releasing their creative studio, it's like they know that they wants, that players want to participate in like, game development alongside the developers and get some of the spoils of that as well.

So like, it's there in primorial stages, but I just don't think people [01:02:00] recognize that that's what it's leading into

Bearsnake: yet. Yeah, no, that's a good point, Matt. Like, to me, when, when, uh, they announce it and I was like, I was like walking by their booth and I, and, um, and you know, talking to the, the people on the Epic team, um, You know, that, to me that's like a step towards web three, right?

This idea of like opening up their engine and letting people participate. So even if it isn't like on, on chain, I think that the, the general thesis is, is moving in the right directive. Yeah.

Madotsuki: And people love that. They, they, they love that announcement. It's like, that's what we're trying to build right now.

And you don't recognize that because you're kind of like our gang fed information by polygon and stuff that hates it. But that's what we're trying to build too. So if you like it, you're gonna like this.

Elf: Yep. Bear, do you have your saxophone ready?

Bearsnake: Let me, hold on. Let me, let me wet the read for a second.

Elf: Are you gonna

Bearsnake: ripper for us? Listen, you know, we're gonna play. Just close [01:03:00] your eyes and, and, and picture good to a happy place. Let's, let's roll this out Al. You got it. Ready? I'm ready. All

Elf: right.

Happy with his wind, everybody. That's beautiful. Yeah. Give it to me. Oh, bear.

Bearsnake: I talk. Can't talk right now. I can't talk right now. Why?

Elf: This has been Elf, Donna Zuki and all of the wizards in the forgotten rooms. Wizards cult channeling out from the quantum town, G and everybody.
