Wizard Wednesday Episode 66

=

Madotsuki: [00:00:00] It is Wednesday. We are wizards, and it's time for our weekly cult meeting. Wizard Wednesday channeling in from the quantum down. It's Sammy Kitty, and joining me today is

Elf: the disgraced cult leader Elf.

Dotta: And do Hello? Hi,

Elf: Sammy. Hi Don. Welcome.

Madotsuki: So if you guys are all wondering why I'm up here doing the intro, it's because I actually just had my first Wizard meetup in Miami. Uh, and that was beyond Epic, you guys, I mean, honestly that's an understatement. I got to hang out with Elf and Bear and Cosmo and Tanya and Panko and a bunch of other wizards and na jitsu twice actually.

Oh, na jitsu, unfortunately, [00:01:00] but twice. And that surely wasn't enough. Um, that tweet that bear posted about, uh, oh no, that Elf posted Bear made me party all night and now I'm dead or whatever.

Elf: Yeah. How true was that? Understand

Madotsuki: truer words have never been spoken before. Exactly. Um, but you guys honestly, Just for the cold in general.

I really could not imagine, um, meeting a better group of people like Wizard Cold is amazing. Forgotten Ruins is, is so much more than just NFTs. Like, it was so nice to meet a group of people from so many different places and like we all just came together and got along so well and it was just like the best time ever not to create FOMO Jitsu.

Sorry, but

Bearsnake: are we doing Wizard Wednesday right now? Is that, is this is happening. Sorry.

Yeah.

Madotsuki: Sammy

Elf: did the intro. Sammy's the new cult leader [00:02:00] Bear, I forgot to tell you.

Madotsuki: Oh yeah. That you were

Bearsnake: I'm fine with that. Whatever Sammy says we're good.

Madotsuki: We talked about me doing the intro and we started out as a joke and.

Elf: Here we are, you know? And now it's a reality. Well, it's also because Sammy, you've never actually come up on Wizard Wednesday, and so I thought we, I think we all thought this would be like the best way for you to get you up here. Yeah.

Madotsuki: I've always been too scared to talk on the faces and they were like, you're so easy to talk to in real life. Like what are you scared of? Exactly. Um, and now I realize, Shouldn't have been scared. Hi guys. I'm Sammy. Hi,

Elf: um, Sammy, you can stay up here as long or as little as you want, but I, I do wanna ask you to tell one brief story.

Um, okay. I'd love to. Yeah. So some of my favorite things, uh, you said in my, you were talking about, um, you explained, uh, the cult to one of your friends and she has no idea [00:03:00] what you're talking about. Um, it, it's so funny. Can you like, describe that whole scenario?

Madotsuki: Yeah, I can. Is my mic still on? Yeah. Let me just pull up the text even just cuz it is just so funny.

All I have to do is search in my text wizard and then let's see how this goes. So I have a friend, her name's Emily. Um, she's actually my best friend, uh, and she would not

Elf: really understand.

She, she you mean she wouldn't understand this cult of wizards? Oh yeah. I

Madotsuki: mean, not that

Bearsnake: most, do you really need to be friends with her? I, I think maybe it might be time

Madotsuki: to talk. Okay. Well listen, I tried to explain, so we were talking and she was asking me like what I was doing on a random night and I just decided, you know, I'm close enough friends with her, I'm just gonna tell her exactly what I'm doing.

And I was like, so yeah, I'm just talking to my wizard friends. And she was like, um, I'm sorry, like. What do you mean? And [00:04:00] I'm like, oh yeah, I'm talking to my friends, like from this Wizard cult I'm in. And she's like, what? And then I kind of tried to explain that it was an N F T project and like whatever, but she doesn't know what a discord is.

And then she kept saying to me like, okay, so what do you and the Wizards talk about? And I'm like, mm, well, we talk about like what they look like. And she's like, uh, so you go into a chat every day and talk about what a wizard looks like, like this can't be real. And I'm like, well, there's 10,000 different wizards.

And then she goes, okay, so you talk to them every day, about 10,000 different wizards. And then like, I was like, look, so I took a screenshot of the Discord and I was talking about Mr. Brown's aspr Do, and I had said like, and I quote like, ASPR doll is love and light. And she was like, who the hell is aspr do?

And then I sent her a picture of the Asper doll and she's like, That's not a doll. [00:05:00]

Elf: It's, it's like the more you explained, the more confusing it you can.

Madotsuki: Um, and then I told her that I regretted telling her and that I didn't really think that we could be friends anymore.

Elf: But, but then you were like, then you were like, okay, I gotta go to a go.

Oh

Madotsuki: yeah. No. And then after I told Alf, I thought it was so funny we hadn't talked about it in a few days. So then the next time that I talked to her was the night of the Goblin Town rave. And she was like, Hey, what are you doing today? And I was like, oh yeah, I'm gonna actually meet up with my wizard friends.

We're going to the goblin town rave. And she was like, dot, dot, dot. That's so great.

Elf: Why doesn't the world understand? They don get it, you know?

Madotsuki: But we very much get it and I'm so glad we do, you know.

Elf: Heck yeah. Agree. Um, well, yeah, that's awesome, Sammy. Um, I, I'm so glad you came up today. Um, if, uh, if you ever wanna give an intro for [00:06:00] Wizard Wednesday again, lemme know. I would love to, and I'm just, I'm gonna put that in invitation out to, uh, almost anyone in the cult.

Um, I think, uh, I think it's fun to get different intros from different people. Yeah. Wait, wait. Did you

Bearsnake: say almost everyone?

Elf: Yeah, almost. We, we have, we have to

Madotsuki: curate this. Some people are blacklisted.

Elf: All on that. Yes, for sure. Like, uh, Chatta. Bob, you are not invited because you'll just do some obnoxious uh, come wow.

Chatta Bob. Yeah, I'll stand up for you. I

Madotsuki: people talking about cucu dogs being the decline of,

Elf: um, exactly. The universe

Dotta: associated with the number of cucu dogs in.

Elf: Yeah. I love giving chatted bob shit about the Cucu dogs. Um, So, yeah, no, we've got a, we've got a big show today. Um, I would say about 90% of the show is gonna be, uh, part [00:07:00] two, uh, of us going into ex excruciating detail about, uh, part two of our Miami trip. Um, just kidding. We're not gonna do that again. We will do a few more eyelids, but, uh, um, that pretty much dominated last week's show.

Um, I also want to talk about, uh, the goblin town, uh, uh, game that we've got going. As you can see, goblin Town's got a, a new Twitter, um, uh, account started, uh, goblin Town. Uh, do you wanna make a quick comment real quick?

Perfect. Perfect. That's exactly what I thought you would say. Yeah,

Bearsnake: exactly. Yeah. I, I, I

Elf: second that kinda scare me. Is that what

Madotsuki: a scree is supposed to?

Elf: That was so good. That was, that's a scree, yeah, that's the real scree. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Really authentic. Um, and then, uh, I'm gonna do some white hat lore later.

Um, we'll talk about cult content and, uh, but [00:08:00] first let's do some cult questions. We got a lot of cult questions today. Um, so Slee eth asked, uh, win Game. Uh, I'm not sure exactly which game you're talking about. The, the universe game is certainly in production. Um, you should follow that Twitter for all updates.

Um, but perhaps they're talking about the goblin town game, uh, which will also be a big topic today. So let, let's hold off on that. Uh, SPZ asked, uh, will we be getting necro ponies? For Exus this year. Um, the answer is no, no, Necro ponies. However, we do have a wus event, uh, in the works. Um, I don't know if we should say too much about that Donor Baird.

Do you guys wanna say anything about that? Yeah,

Dotta: I think it'll just be for fun. I don't think we're gonna issue any tokens for it. That's an important part to know. Yep,

Elf: yep. True. That we, yeah, I mean, we, so we were gonna issue some tokens, but it just didn't feel right, especially on the [00:09:00] heels of Halloween.

Um, but it, it'll still be a fun event nonetheless. Um, and then, uh, Jay Mender, his question is, uh, Let bear rant about his excitement. Um, bear the cold ass won't, so

Bearsnake: they won't let me. I'm not allowed to rant. I wanna rant so badly, but I'd say, oh, is this way

Dotta: referenced your tweet about how you're so excited about all the things we have in the works?

Bearsnake: Yeah, I was just saying like, like I know about people are feeling pretty like dark about things, not everybody, but you know, there's, there's that maybe a little bit of that sentiment going around and I was just thinking like, from my perspective, I'm like surrounded by light. Like there's so many damn things that we are working on that I think would really, uh, be a positive impact on us and the cult.

But I'm never allowed to talk about stuff. That's my job until it's done. So I'll be that dude. [00:10:00] Um, and you know, I guess. Uh, you know, I mean, I, I'm gonna feel great and then you guys will feel great soon too.

Dotta: Yeah. There's like five or six things in the hoppers and it's like collaborations with other people of one degree or another, and they mostly all, uh, like aren't kind of ready for us to talk about it publicly, so that's a bummer.

But, you know, whatever, we'll drip it out and, uh, it's, it's very exciting. Like the, the, the, the bear market is almost like the cliche, right? The bear market is for builders. And so what you basically have is kind of everyone sort of like doubling down on building new things and reaching out to other projects.

Uh, and, and yeah. So it's fun. We're going to be integrated in some really cool projects coming up.

Bearsnake: Yeah. And I just feel like, um, like when we're able to talk about this stuff, I mean, this stuff is like very. High level, super impactful stuff that, um, I think speaks to everything that we're trying to do here.

Um, and [00:11:00] uh, and I just can't wait for all the people who have been with us this entire time to like be able to, um, you know, see it and be a part of it when, when all that stuff comes out. So it's gonna be cool, but no, everybody can still hate on bear cause I can't tell about stuff.

Elf: Aw, no, I, I feel you bear, I, I wanna, I want to talk about the exciting things as well, but, but you just can't, that's just not the way the world works.

Um, okay. Slim asks, have you all ever done ayahuasca? Uh, that's a good question. I will start and no, I have not done it. Bear dodo. What about you?

Bearsnake: No, Donda's definitely done it. Don't lie. Doda

Elf: not the way

Madotsuki: Doda just said no. Was like totally dry.

Elf: No,

Bearsnake: he really like how dare

Elf: for

Bearsnake: me. Yeah. No, for me, I haven't done it.

I, uh, I'm scared. I'll be [00:12:00] honest. That sounds, I don't know if I wanna look that deep inward.

Elf: Yeah, it sounds intense from what I've heard. Uh, it's okay. Oh, go ahead. Wait, who's done

Bearsnake: it? Has anyone done it on stage?

Madotsuki: Yeah, this is Lochness. Oh

Elf: look, hell yeah. Well let's go, let's hear about it. Yeah, tell

Bearsnake: it.

Madotsuki: Um, let's just say it's hard to talk about cuz like it's just such a trip.

But I'll tell you one of the highlights. Um, when I was super deep into my trip, like finally like done, uh, sort of vomiting and just purging everything in my body, uh, um, saw a really huge, like red crimson dragon come into view.

Elf: Oh, hell yeah.

Madotsuki: It, it's face was so close to me that like I could look directly in its eye.

[00:13:00] And then I started like, like journeying inside of the dragon's eye. So like I went inside the eye and it just like started turning into all these different symbols. Um, and I saw the eye of Orus. And the reason why that one sticks out so much is because after that trip I started seeing the eye of Orus literally everywhere.

Um, And I was at this drum circle here in LA and I see this eye of Aus, um, like post-trip. I see this eye of Aus and I'm like, I gotta go inside this building. It's like a mural inside of this building. At the door of the building it says, knowledge is power. And I'm like, okay, I got it. I gotta see what's up.

It's this, uh, really cool bookstore. It has like all of these books that are like sort of like, I guess like illegal. You're not allowed to like take pictures or write down the name of the, any of the titles or authors. And um, I come across the tarot deck that has the IBOs on and I buy it and start reading tarot.

So [00:14:00] in conclusion,

like the craziest journeys. Yeah.

Bearsnake: Do you wanna travel inside a dragon? You know what to do

Elf: into the eye of the dragon? No. That's a badass story Lock. I, I almost wanna commission that as an art piece. Like you staring into the eye of a giant red dragon. That's, that's so

Madotsuki: badass. Hell

Elf: yeah. Um, jts, what about you, ayahuasca?

Madotsuki: No, I've only been around people that have done it. I was like the, the babysitter, right? Like you always want someone around that's gonna help out when needed. So, um, no I have not, but um, for those who have, when I was around them, they would seem to have one hell of a time.

Elf: Yeah, yeah, for sure. Uh, definitely on my bucket list.

Um, okay. Cosmic Night Jar asks, this is a good question. Uh, why are Wizards so fun to party with? Um, [00:15:00] yeah, cosmic Nija was one of the many wizards down in Miami, and, uh, I would, I think my answer to that question right now is probably because, uh, we have, uh, Uh, Michelangelo, the party dude, uh, often leading these parties.

And by that I mean, uh, bear Snake. Um, bear. W would you agree with that?

Bearsnake: Yeah. Listen, I mean, we're only here for however long we're here for. Let's have fun. Um, I also think like, um, do wizards like have such a good time partying? I think it's because the bond is so strong, um, online that when we see each other we just sort of can't, we can't tame ourselves.

Like it's just, we're so happy. And then like the energy from everybody, every single wizard we meet, I r l. Is like, like beyond any expectations. And I think, so the energy is just so incredible that, uh, you know, we're just surrounded by magic. And when you're surrounded by magic, listen, you're gonna have a [00:16:00] good time.

Let's be honest.

Madotsuki: I wanted to second that because I think it's, and so one of the reasons why I was like here from the get go is because the community, right? And like when the community is so sound and the people around you are kind of like, there's no funny fake here, right? And so when you meet everybody in person, you get it takes like five minutes and then you realize, holy hell, you're the exact same person online.

And that's because everybody here is so great. Like I've been in a lot of communities, um, from the gaming days that weren't like that. And you meet them in person, you have this like awkwardness and someone that just like, isn't there, I can fullheartedly say that everybody here you go meet them in person, they're gonna be the exact same way.

And like that is so reassuring when you're around people that are just like, true to like what you want to do throughout that day or there as a person that it makes everything fun. And it's like, I don't know, just, just echoing that, that it's really important and it's. Why we can have so much fun from day one and hopefully for years to come.

Right. Like it's, you have to have it.

Elf: Good, honest answers. Um, yep, totally agree. Uh, Kel asks, is there, are there any, uh, F [00:17:00] R W C apparel, apparel, merch plan, merch plan for the holidays? Um, I don't, I don't actually think we do. Do we bear or lock?

Madotsuki: No, we don't. Um, we will, however, have a holiday card, which I'm super excited for everyone to, um, receive.

You're gonna be able to submit your mailing information anonymously and receive a holiday card from the, uh, magic machine.

Bearsnake: It's so cute. It's so cute. Um, but also just to, just to circle back on, on the merch, there are, there are new designs there, there will be new merch, I think. Um, we're just really trying to knock out some stuff, uh, and really get it right.

Goblin Town is definitely taking up, um, uh, a lion's share of our, of our time, but, uh, you'll be sure to see some new virtuals coming out soon enough.

Madotsuki: Yep, yep. And we

Dotta: have, yeah, we've got two pieces we're working on that [00:18:00] we all really love. One is a t-shirt and the other is something else that, but we just are trying to get it right.

Elf: Yep. Um, okay. And then finally, uh, Kmar, um, this is kind of a cryptic question, in fact, I don't even think it is a question. It just says, F mk Phylis. Cobal. Im, is that a meme that I'm not privy to, or is that just cash trolling us? I don't know. I don't know what

Madotsuki: it's because probably just trolling you. Let's be honest.

Back at it again.

Elf: Love cast. Oh, you just said, he said it's, he said it's fuck Mary. Kill. That's what it was. Oh, oh, oh, got it. Oh, obviously. Okay. Oh geez. That's, uh, but like, what was

Bearsnake: it for again, like for in the cult. It was, I don't wanna go down that road.

Elf: Pass. Yeah, pass. Okay. I will be bold and I'm actually gonna answer this.

Um, I already know your answer. Wow. The, uh, I [00:19:00] find the mps to be the sexiest. Um, I find the, the fearless is are someone who you would want to, like, cuddle with for the rest of your life. In the Coble. Yeah. You're gonna marry the Felix, kill all the Cobols. Um, that's my answer.

Dotta: If you kill

Madotsuki: all the cobols, there won't have to be this debate about yellow or

Elf: green.

And that's why I wanna kill Declaration of Warmth if I've ever heard one. Yeah, watch your back. Okay. And then also we have two people requesting to speak. Um, I'm gonna bring them up and ask, see what kind of questions they've got. Uh, William, I, I think you were first. William, what's up?

If you, if you're there. William, can you, can you unmute? Oh, yeah, sorry. I, I, uh, perfect. Yes, yes. There we go. Oh, I know

Madotsuki: who you're, I remember you, we were in constant conversation last night. Screen. You're day. I appreciate it, bro.

Elf: Thank you. I, uh, I love what you [00:20:00] guys are doing so far. Sounds like, uh, sounds like a dope group you got going on.

Uh, all right, we'll screw back at you brother.

G were you gonna offer a screw as well, or, or something? No, that, that was really it. Somebody take the, uh, take the stand. I just wanted to say what's up. Okay, awesome. Will know guys,

Bearsnake: by the way, I just wanna say hi to Entropy. Hopefully you approve of all of our screening because I know you're part of the Goblin Town team and you guys have done it so well.

You have, you don't screen, you do other things, but, uh, we're, we see, we see you there and you, you you've inspired us.

Elf: Oh, is is, do we have someone from the Golin town wtf, on, on stage right now? Yeah.

Bearsnake: Enter Peace's right there. But don't make him. Oh, fantastic. Don't make, don't make him come. He doesn't wanna, but

Elf: say hi to him.

Okay. I won. Make him come up. Opportunity to say you guys had an amazing Miami event. I [00:21:00] like the fact that you, okay. For those of you who don't know the, the goblin town, what the fuck party was in literally in an abandoned mall. Like a mall that looked like it was abandoned, like the early nineties and like a lot of the garbage was still in there and they didn't clean it up, which was like perfect for Goblin Town.

Um, Uh, the drinks were good. The music was good. The, just the vibe. Oh. And they were giving away free tattoos, which by the way, Tanya Del Rio got one. Um,

Madotsuki: the legend. Yes. Legend

Bearsnake: Tanya. I

Madotsuki: saw that. Fantastic. Tanya.

Elf: Yes. So, I don't know, do you guys wanna say anything else about it? It was, I thought it was awesome.

It was so

Madotsuki: fun. I, when I, when I first got there, I gotta say I was not feeling it. You can ask Tanya. Cuz it was like, kind of scary. I even actually said Doda, it reminded me of, um, that like back rooms game that you had sent us or what it called you room to like climb all these scary stairs and stuff. And I was like, guys, I'm not really into this.

They're like kind, they're [00:22:00] like pranking us or something. There's not even gonna be a party up there. And when we got up to the top, it was really cool. It was like neon eighties, like weird. Kind of smelled like piss, like definitely perfect for Goggling Town. It was amazing. The DJ was really good. It was, it was fun.

Elf: Thank

Madotsuki: you. That's, uh, that is actually spot on with the experience of entry that we were hoping to go for with, with this. Um, I will say the original intent was we were gonna have groups of people come up in the freight elevator and then the freight elevator broke, uh, about 30 minutes before show started.

God. So I just grabbed, I just grabbed cardboard signs and we went with the wayfinding route up the stairs. Um, very, very ask.

Bearsnake: I'm just happy it broke before we got there and we didn't get stuck inside. Right. That would've been terrible.

Madotsuki: Yeah, totally. No thank you. I wanna, yeah, thank you again. Bears thinking to everybody for coming to the party.

It was so great to have you guys there and like we did a lot of work to set that up [00:23:00] and set the tone and the mood for it and everything, but it was only made what it was by the people that showed up to come and hang out and I was so happy to have some, some wizzies out there and, and to be able to meet you guys in person and talk more, it was fantastic and I was so happy for it.

Bearsnake: Uh, it was, it was, it was a pleasure meeting you guys, um, and girls and yeah, you, everybody on the team. For, for anyone who, who hasn't like engaged with the Goblin town team, uh, in person, they're just all fantastic human beings. Uh, I think they're here for the right reasons. Um, and I think they've done a fantastic job sort of building a brand and a community.

Exactly. Thank you.

Elf: Oh man, the goblins are taking over. Yeah.

Bearsnake: Part of me, like my new thing is gonna be like to scree or to pee, and I think that could be another relationship between us and the goblins.

Elf: Ooh, I like that. That's good. That's

Bearsnake: gold. I might have to make a

Elf: t-shirt.[00:24:00]

Yeah, no, the, the, the, the Goblin Town event in Miami and in n y NYC was one of the most creative, unique, like, just, just the, the, the amount of detail they put into, um, uh, just really, uh, leveraging the theme of, of the project. It's, they do an excellent job. The burger truck, like handmade signs. The, the costumes, the venue, it's, it's just really well done.

The

Bearsnake: art that they were giving away too. I mean, entropy. That was so cool where genius. Yeah. You guys were just going around. The art was really good. Dr. Slurp got a great

Dotta: piece.

Madotsuki: Awesome. Yeah, I'm super glad to hear that. I, I'm gonna a hundred percent return that compliment to you guys for the New York party.

Um, that was one of the only other events that I was able to make it to out at New York and the vibes were immaculate. You guys had such cool little disparate, um, like activations throughout the entire thing that you could kind of go and, uh, such a good mixture of like the dance floor and then little spaces to [00:25:00] steal away and write some notes and check out the video game and everything.

I had such a good time at that, so I was super glad to have y'all into our party

Elf: as well. Awesome,

Bearsnake: man. Fantastic. Oh, it looks like we have a question from, uh,

Elf: Yeah,

we just dropped Fatty.

I'm loving this

Madotsuki: bleed over between Wizard Space and goin space. Really?

Elf: Interlocked fingers. Yeah. Oh, it really is. Um, well, yeah, I mean this is what happens when you, when you start interacting with goblins, uh, don't be surprised, Mr. What's up? Mr.

Bearsnake: Brown's got the

Elf: funny joke of the week, Wednesday. Are you ready?

Knock knock. Who's there? Goblin mode. Golin mode. The word of the year,[00:26:00]

you know? Yeah. I wanted to touch on that. I'm sure everyone knows, but Goblin mode has been designated, literally the word of the year by, I think it's like Webster's Dictionary. Um, and you know, some people would say that it's a coincidence. You really butchered my joke. Wait, I

Dotta: know I asked Goblin mode. Who?

I didn't know if that was the punch

Elf: scream. Oh God. I thought goblin mode was the punchline, so we didn't

Madotsuki: even like get through

Elf: the joke. Yeah. I'm the worst host. This is what? New cult leader

Madotsuki: a t-shirt.

Elf: Um, yeah, sorry about that. No, I was just gonna say, uh, yeah, it's is is it a coincidence that it was announced word of the year, the same day we launched our govan town Twitter? Uh, no. It is quantum synchronicity obviously. Um, and so maybe we can, uh, pivot into that, uh, If you guys don't know, um, as you can see on [00:27:00] stage, our new goblin town mini game that we're, that we're building, uh, now has a Twitter account.

Um, and so I just wanna do have a quick conversation. Um, Locke is, is is currently running that account. And, uh, LA my first question, of course is just scree.

Okay. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. And, uh, and, and, and you know, we were talking in, in the all hands the other day and we couldn't figure out whether, what, whether we should scree or, or scree. But tell, tell him what we decided screen. Exactly. Exactly. And, and, and now that that screen has been rolled out, I, I'm realizing that we actually should have screed.

Um, so, uh, yeah. Is there anything else you wanna say?

Madotsuki: Well, you know, I was really thinking about just how we can scream [00:28:00]

Elf: exactly.

But for laugh.

If, if we can speak in human language for just a minute, um, tell us what this, this account is actually all about.

Madotsuki: So this account is all about script. No, I'm just kidding. Um, yeah. Um, we really just want to embody these different aspects of the universe. And Goblin Town was one of the first, uh, was actually on our map many, many moons ago when we summoned the Wizards last summer.

And this game, which. Doda has been working on for like, uh, about what, like over a year now. It's been coming.

Elf: I

Dotta: wanted to make this game for, for like a

Elf: year. Yeah.

Madotsuki: Um, so yeah, it's finally coming to fruition. We thought why not embody the dj? The whole sort of lore [00:29:00] of Goblin Town is that it mimics, uh, the river that actually goes through Goblin Town mimics the charts that happen in a bear market, and instead of having it looped into the Forgotten ruins Twitter, we wanted to just like have a real DJs space.

That was a new platform, allowed people to scream and have, have a ton of fun. I don't know what else, what else can I say?

Elf: Yeah, the, the, the, the decision to like make a separate Twitter account from the universe. One is, you know, it's partly an experiment where, where it's, it's definitely got a different style.

Um, it's, it's, it's part of world building. Um, you know, when you build a world, I think you can certainly have more than one Twitter account. Um, and, and like honestly, we're already learning a lot from just like starting this new account cuz it, it's got a totally different vibe, different strategy. Um, go ahead l Yeah,

Madotsuki: all the fun stuff we really wanted to, uh, experiment with.

We wanted to [00:30:00] keep, we wanted to keep the forgotten rooms like digital ecosystem true to itself and be both informative and have some like character play. And we always tease a ton of our new projects there. And we just wanted to have this space really like, truly fully embody Goblin town goblin culture tore.

And it also helped us sort of, Bring in people from outside of the cult. This is, you know, with, with fantasy, I can understand that it is a lot to take on. Crypto in and of itself is a lot to learn. There's a steep learning curve, and then you add fantasy and world building on top of that. And I can easily see how, for some DJs who just wanna dj, it's just like too much to take on.

So this hopefully serves as a stepping stone, or rather eight way drug to the univer.

Bearsnake: Totally. And I think, you know, there's a, there's a [00:31:00] lot of fun to be had, but there's also gonna be a lot of, uh, moving forward, like, um, just exposition about the details of the game, how it's gonna work. Um, so it's, it's, it's gonna be a balance and, and, and lock and Jit, uh, And, and a couple people on the team have been doing some killer work on how to roll it out and, and I think, um, you know, uh, I think people are really gonna like this game.

I think it's, I think this is something, um, not surprisingly, uh, you know, quite novel. Um, I certainly haven't seen anything like this out there, so I'm excited for everybody to see it

Dotta: and I think we're gonna start even another, a second discord for it as well. Cuz I think like, yeah, this is the same sort of thing where you wa we wanna be able to kind of like have forgotten roots, wizards and the universe, uh, like have its own kind of fe feel.

But you can imagine this sort of like, really intense, really active, goblin driven discord. Uh, maybe needs a bit of partitioning from the secret tower. So yeah. We'll, [00:32:00] we'll send out some announcements when I think that's ready.

Elf: And then, uh, Locke mentioned like this, the, the gateway drug. Um, are we allowed, did, did, I think we already told we're gonna, we're airdropping tokens to partner projects and of course Golin Town.

Yeah. WTF is gonna be a big, well, lemme talk about the game too.

Dotta: Sure. Um, a little bit. So, okay. So lemme talk about the game and then, uh, a little bit overview. You'll hear me repeat this a lot, right? Because it's, it's not gonna be ready till at least probably January now. Um, but the, um, So you hear me talk about this a lot, but let's just go over it real briefly and then I can talk about the airdrops too.

Um, so the game is sort of inspired initially by, uh, settlers of Gatan. So if you haven't played Settlers of Gatan, it's a HX game. There's a hexagonal map and, um, you place settlements on the corners of those hexagons and you place roads along the edges. And, um, as the game progresses, you earn resources from the tiles that neighbor your settlements.

And, um, so this will be shaped into instead of like on the, uh, on [00:33:00] kind of your tabletop where you're playing with just like five people, you'll actually be playing on a massive map with all of crypto Twitter. And instead of someone rolling the dice, um, you'll actually accumulate these resources continuously.

Um, and then you'll use those resources not only to build more roads, to capture more territory, to build more settlements. But there's also, um, a bit of a battling component. So the Beasts actually are, um, are in the, uh, Goldin Town game and the Beasts Act, maybe analogously a bit like the Robber Wood in Cellars Cat Catan, meaning if the beast moves into your territory and you've built up, you know, you've got a settlement that you've upgraded.

So it's generating all of these resources for you. But then the Beast comes into your neighborhood, the Beast will actually get those resources, uh, instead of you. So of course you will want to, uh, drive the beast away, um, and you'll be able to use bands of soldiers. Um, which will be able to drive those beasts away.

You also can choose to battle your bands of soldiers against other [00:34:00] bands. Um, and the mechanics, uh, that will be involved there will reveal more as we go. Um, but you'll be able to both, um, kind of get soldiers within the game. So by spending in-game resources, get soldiers, um, as well as be able to use your wizards and warriors as kind of leaders of those bands, which will have, uh, certain advantages in terms of, you know, how many goblins soldiers they can coordinate the sort of, uh, you know, uh, maybe powerups, uh, for, uh, strength or defense or, or curses that you can give to someone else.

So, um, all of these kind of like mechanics that you have in terms of battling other, uh, bands and battling the beasts, um, you can even go out and attack other people's settlements and structures, um, and defend your own, uh, and join up with one another. Um, and team up. So, so all those things will be wrapped up in, in a, a crypto on chain based board game, and you'll be able to kind of draw cards and buy items and use those items to, to, to strengthen your army, uh, [00:35:00] for, for magic and money, uh, as Blanco MoCo says.

Elf: Um, and then, uh, yeah, I mean we talked about this before, but it started out as Doda just wanted to build a simpler settlers of Catan game and Totally. And we were like, okay, but you also have to include the beasts and the wizards and the other tokens. And it like, just radically changed the game mechanics, of course.

And so now it's this like, beautiful new thing that, that Dota has built. Um, And so that's, that's sort of a overview of the mechanics and then, uh, how are we, uh, looping in other projects. Okay.

Dotta: So yes. Yes, exactly. So like a year ago, um, you know, there are all these on chain games, like, you know, Wolf Game Raid Party, um, you like, uh, uh, wizards and Dragons.

And like, that's where this idea even came from is I was like, oh, I really wanna play Settlers of Catan. Like, when is someone gonna do Settlers of Catan? And I was just like, I felt like someone should, [00:36:00] would've launched a settlers of Catan on chain like a year ago. Like, I thought that it was due last December and like still no one has.

And so, um, so yeah, we started off with like a very basic version, but yes, as, as Elf says, we kind of, um, well, we wanna include, it's this balance of like one. I want the game to go on for a long time and not just be like, oh, the richest person just wins within the first week. Two, we want it to be able to use the Beasts.

We want it to be able to use the Wizards and Warriors. But three, you also want people from the outside to be able to come in and play and feel like you have a chance to win, right? So, uh, I don't want this to be just an insular, that's just a game wizards play. Like ideally, um, we have sort of all of crypto, Twitter, Twitter participating, um, and you get value.

Maybe there's an incentive for people to buy Wizards in Warriors, but. You know, at the same time you could just play the game on its own. So yeah, so we'll be doing an airdrop of basically the initial resources, right? So in this game, kind of the fundamental unit would be like a settlement. You place a settlement and now all of a sudden you earn [00:37:00] resources continuously.

Um, and so we'll basically rank order kind of the amount, uh, I'll, I'll, I'll have to release final numbers as we, after we balance the game a little bit more. But we basically have, is like at the lowest level will be sort of outside partners, particularly people that, um, uh, that participated in the trick or treat.

So maybe they get a settlement or two settlements, right? Just enough that you've got a airdrop, there's no reason not to come find an empty space on the board, place your resources, and just like let 'em run. Um, and then from there, um, a, a bit higher up, we'll do, um, well the Warriors. And then from there the souls will get a little bit more and then like the wizards will get, uh, the most, actually, maybe I should switch that actually, right?

Maybe it should be like wizards and then souls after that. But, but essentially it'll be basically a tiered kind of airdrop structure in terms of the amount of like starting resources that you have. Uh, depending on kind of like the tokens that you hold. And it'll be for forgotten rooms holders. It will be like per [00:38:00] token.

Um, so you know, if you have like 10 wizards, you'll get 10 wizards worth of, of airdrop. So you'll, uh, yeah, you'll benefit there if you, if you, if you hold more tokens. So yeah, it should be really fun. The board will be very, very big. And so really what matters more is just like being able to play and being strategic about how you play in the beginning versus like how many you start with, um, uh, because, uh, the growth in Catan is actually exponential.

Um, so you know, the more settlements you have, the, the, the more, the faster you get resources. So that's a very, very fun mechanic and I'm just very excited to play. And, um, but.

Elf: Wait, did I miss it? Did you mention the partner? Uh, airdrops.

Bearsnake: Well, yeah, we're not gonna, well, yeah, everybody who knocked on the door is gonna get an airdrop of sorts, but then there's going to be other fun airdrops to other people.

I don't think we want to like totally spoil the fun. Do we doda?

Dotta: Well, I don't even think I've like totally worked out the exact numbers, but I think, you know, having some [00:39:00] like amount of, for example, the Goblin town WTF folks, we really like their

Elf: team. That's what I was looking for. Oh, okay. Yeah, sure. Yeah, no, we like, no do we

Dotta: necessarily airdrop like, you know, a huge number to the entire collection?

Like maybe they need to actually claim it actively, for example. Um sure. Like I don't know that we'll proactively airdrop those tokens. They might need to claim them with some sort of cap. Uh, but yeah, we'll include goin town.wtf cuz Of course. Of course. Um, and maybe some others too.

Bearsnake: Can I get, can I get the most airdrops.

Dotta: Yeah,

Elf: sure. Game. You're not even allowed to play. It's that easy. Oh,

Bearsnake: damn it. I forgot. I'm not allowed to play. I don't get to do anything.

Dotta: Oh, yeah. Ponies are not left out. One of the things, sorry, I'm reading Discord now, so I, there's a lot of moving parts here. I'm gonna write the green paper for this project and, and that'll include all the details.

Um, but like, ponies are not left out. So when you have a a, a band, uh, they need to move across the board right before you can physically sort [00:40:00] of like battle with another band. You have to be, uh, relatively in the same location. And so, uh, bands have a speed. And if you have ponies, uh, in your band, than you will be able to move faster because, uh, well you have horses.

So yeah, ponies are not left out

Bearsnake: as long as it's gonna be fun. As long as it's gonna be fun. I'm very

Dotta: excited. I think it's gonna be fun. I hope it doesn't blow up in the first like week.

Elf: No, I, I love how you're to blame. I wanted to, uh, I wanted to, I was, I was wondering where you guys all learned how to scree.

Cause that is, that's not how you do it. So after the close of, uh, Dota summary there, I wanted to show you how real Godwin Screes

Dotta: I'm gonna

Elf: Wow.

Bearsnake: Wow. Wow. I think. Ok. Uh, I think we're gonna do a little recording session,

Elf: Orbis. Okay. Ladies and gentlemen, that was an amazing scree by the voice [00:41:00] actor, who, believe it or not, also voiced the sacred key master in the trailer. Uh, Orbis is constantly amazing us with his voice talents. Oh,

Bearsnake: versatile.

Elf: Versatile.

Yes. Bravo.

Madotsuki: Bravo.

Bearsnake: That was like a little, it was like a little burpee. A little farty. It was great. Perfect. Yeah. Was

Elf: good. That made it thing. Anyways, I was, I was checking that out. That was pretty cool.

Bearsnake: Yeah, it

Elf: was. Yeah. Yeah. Well, well done, Oris. I'm, I'm glad you came up and, and, uh, showed us how it's done. Um, no one is allowed to ever screen again because we just cannot compete.

Um, Donna, I have a quick question. Uh, why is it called a green paper?

Bearsnake: Really? Oh.

Dotta: Um, yeah, yeah. Well, because, uh, well, because typically when people release these sort of things, they have like a white paper, right? So the white paper would be sort of like the, [00:42:00] the, the formal document that outlines like the math and the mechanics and the incentives as best you can.

And so, well, I just think a goblins paper would be green. It's not that clever. I

Elf: just thought it was funny. No, it, it's perfect because this, this means, um, now when we do a a cobalt game, we'll do a yellow paper, obviously. Right, exactly. You gonna,

what is okay? Um, okay, great. Uh, yeah, I mean that, that's the goblin town game. I, I know we've been talking about it for a while, but it's, it's getting closer. It's got a Twitter, it's gonna have a, I think, a discord very soon. Um, and I definitely want to invite the Goblin Town team for sure. Um, Who better to play goblin town than a bunch of goblins, obviously.

Um, so yeah, I don't know Beardo anything else on that? Uh,

Dotta: I'm just, well just, we're all kind of like chugging away on it. We've got artists working on it. We'll be sharing more of that art soon. We've got, [00:43:00] um, uh, myself and Nissy working on some of the smart contracts today. I was working on, you know, this map is massive and so you of course can't load it all into one webpage at once.

And so I was working on the, the algorithms to kind of lazily load only the hexagons that you're looking at, you know, making sure that it's multiplayer and reloads. So, you know, all these kind of like boring technical details to make something that should all add up to be something really beautiful and fun.

So it'll be pixel art, uh, yeah, hex base board game. And I'm, I'm super, I'm, I'm, I, I just wanna play honestly

Bearsnake: and keep your eyes on the account because there's some really, really fun art and lore, uh, and of course sort of all the details. Um, That will be forthcoming on how to play the game. So it, it should be a really, it should be a really fun, uh, account to follow.

Dotta: You know, this, it's an interesting question too. Uh, actually, Barry, you were saying, oh, can I get Airdrop the most? And then Jitsu earlier today was asking, she was like, can we play, and this is an interesting question because like, one of the things, so we have for [00:44:00] example, like an internal like magic machine policy in terms of, um, the assets that you can buy and sell.

Like, so for example, if a Magic machine employee wants to buy a wizard or a Warrior, it's perfectly fine, but we ask that you hold it for 30 days, for example, right? Like, we wanna make sure that we're being completely above the board in terms of all of our like buys and sells to not like, sort of front run people's information.

You know, I don't wanna be Nate Chastain's roommate in prison. And so like, we have to be very careful. To like be above, above the board in those things. That's said, all of us super wanna play this game like, I'm making this game cause I wanna play. So we might need to actually come up with a strategy where we say like, you know, these are our accounts.

We air dropped ourselves the same amount as everyone else. Uh, and uh, uh, well I think that we wanna play actually. So we'll see.

Bearsnake: I was joking just about, I was being a little bread baby about getting airdrops. I don't even think you're gonna have time to play. I'll

Elf: try. Jsu wants to play,

Bearsnake: wanna play? He's definitely not, [00:45:00] he's definitely not allowed to play.

Madotsuki: I'm sorry. I'm

Elf: sick today. Magic Machine. Uh,

Madotsuki: don't know what's happening. And then you'll just see me playing the board game all day.

Bearsnake: Hmm. Suspect. All right, so we'll come up with some rules. Dota Jitsi can't play and some other people.

Dotta: Perfect.

Bearsnake: Alright.

Elf: Golin Town. Yeah. Yeah. Orbits. Can you, uh, can you give us another one of those worldclass screens? Oh, you, you want it? Oh yeah. Oh

Bearsnake: wow. I feel like we need to start a Prague metal band and Orbis is the lead singer.

Elf: Seriously, man. Yeah, let's do it. I'm ready for that. I've been waiting my whole life. [00:46:00] Perfect. On drum. Some true talent in, uh, cool. Um, so one quick little, uh, update I wanted to give is, uh, we've got the, the walk cycles for the Warriors Done.

Um, But giant caveat, they are very buggy. Um, and so, you know, we, we, last time we delivered the Wizard walk cycles and they were like 99% perfect, I think. Um, but, but like, you know, it, it took a long time to release them. So we tried a different strategy. This time we're gonna, we're just gonna release like the v1 and then, um, if anyone has, uh, like a bug in their wizard, um, we would ask you to just dm, uh, lock or jitsu or Nalgene, uh, because now we have a bug reporting system.

Um, and we will just use that to track all the, the walks that, um, that don't work. Um, [00:47:00] because believe it or not, folks, it's uh, it's, it's really difficult to, uh, check 30,000 characters and to see if they're all perfect or 25,000. I can't remember how many in words, but, um, but yeah, so, uh, yeah, we'll just, we just got what?

Wait, what's that, Donna? It's only 16. Oh, 16, yeah. Where did I get 30,000? I don't know. Um, but yeah. Uh, so yeah, we will, if, if your wi if your warrior is, uh, is broken, then just, uh, let us know and we'll put it on the, the Tracker system. And, and actually this goes for Wizards. I, I think Wizard Wizards are perfect, but if, if there's one that's, that's not, let us know.

Um, so yeah, that's that. Um, what else we got? We've got like 15 minutes left. Um, I've got, uh, some white hat lore that I think I wanted to talk about. Um, cuz yeah, we, we wanna start, uh, just talking a little bit more about lore and every, every Wizard Wednesday, slowly roll [00:48:00] that out. Um, So I don't even think we did, uh, talk about Laura last time cuz we were in Miami.

But the one before that was the brown hats. Uh, so today let's go over the white hats and then next week will be my favorite, the purple hats. Um, but today it's white. So. Um, yeah. When we, uh, when we reflect, uh, sorry. When we refract white light through a prism, we see that it is made of all the colors, uh, that I can see.

Um, and so all the world's, uh, complexity is reduced, uh, to a clean and minimal expression, a single, a single beam of, uh, wholly aromatic light. Um, uh, this is sort of the reduction of everything to one thing. Um, it's, it's about, uh, chaotic complexity to [00:49:00] simple minimalistic order. Um, So the white hats, they, uh, they ponder the void and, and they see order.

Um, they ponder the, the universe and they reduce it to a singular ruin. Um, and so while the rest of the, the hat colors are either, uh, seeking power through obscene wealth or, um, seeking truth through the endless quest for knowledge or, or deep wisdom in the natural world, or the pleasures of youth, uh, the white hats, um, are sitting in their high tower quietly meditating through all of it.

Um, They say that enlightenment is found not in excess. It is found in the essential. Um, the shadows have left the cave only to find that in the end, supreme order was on the wall all along. Um, these aesthetic sages, [00:50:00] uh, rarely venture forth to exert themselves on the world stage. Uh, their magic is subtle, quiet, and rarely seen.

Um, this has led many in the universe to question if these stoics are hiding an immense power level, or if in fact they have no power at all. Um, And so, um, this is one of those archetypes, uh, that you see in media a lot. And, uh, just, just like the green Wizards, um, the whites are not, I, I find that they're not easily categorized into the, uh, good and evil rubric, um, because they have such a revolutionary philosophy that it makes, uh, these labels of good and evil seem quaint.

Um, a classic example is, uh, Nietzsche's sra, who was a sage who spent 10 years on a mountaintop, um, sort of just detached and separated from all of humanity. [00:51:00] Um, a more modern example would be, uh, like Dr. Manhattan, um, from, uh, the Watchman, uh, who adopted, uh, the hydrogen Adam as, uh, which is the simplest of all elements.

Um, he adopted that as his pure expression of reality. Um, and so he's, he's often very much attached from the affairs of humanity, uh, often with detrimental effect. But every time he does these things, uh, that humans would consider terrible, he rationalizes it with calm, lucid ordered rationality. Um, and we, and we often see this detached per personality and, and many of the sages we see across media, um, uh, uh, PI May In Kill Bill is a good example.

Um, master Splinter from the Ninja Turtles is a good example. Um, So, you know, true, true to the white hat philosophy, um, their, their explanation is, is really quite simple there. There's not a lot to it. Um, you know, if, if there [00:52:00] was three features that I could use to describe them, it would just be order aesthetic, middle minimalism, and hidden power level.

Um, so yeah, that, that's the white hats. Uh, that didn't take too long, but yeah, next week will be the purple. Um, they are my favorite and they are the reason why I chose, uh, the Purple Wizard as the PFP four forgotten ruins on Twitter. Um, so stay tuned next week. Um, awesome. They're done. We've got like seven minutes.

Thanks. Yeah.

Dotta: So, you know, one of the things that I would love to do on Wizard Wednesday, I think one of the things we were talking about is, um, you know, we talk a lot about lore. We talk about creativity, we talk about creation. We'll, maybe we can cover some cult content even today. And I think that, like, as much as we can, we should always be like talking about that, the, like, the act of creation, because it's really the like, um, you know, leaving your, your room on the door.

That's sort of the, the point of this project. At the same time, I think that NFTs do exist within this like, new financial in infrastructure. Um, and [00:53:00] I would totally be down for doing a segment on Wizard Wednesday that's like Dotas Defi. Um, so just like we have updates from the barricade, we could have a moment of Dotas defi where I would be happy to kind of stay here and talk, sit down and talk about, you know, we could explain some of the ins and outs of like N F T X and the incentives behind it.

We could talk about like pseudo swap and how it works and how you might use it. We could talk about like N F T loans with like N F tfi, um, where people are like, uh, borrowing against their NFTs and like, you know, uh, and, and you can like, give out loans in exchange for other people's NFTs as collateral.

So, you know, I, I'm a nerd and I think that these, uh, like new defi primitives are super interesting and I know that there's a lot of other people, uh, who are interested in those as well. So, yeah. So if you would be interested in Do's Defi, uh, let me know in the secret tower. Um, if there's anything in particular you want to hear about, but I think I'll probably do that over the next, you know, as we kind of can fit 'em in.

Because there's, there's, there's cool stuff out there. [00:54:00]

Elf: Yep. Agree. Yeah. It's, it's the kind of thing that I know very little about. And, uh, it, when Dota starts talking about this stuff, it, uh, makes me, uh, just, uh, reaffirm how grateful I am to have a Dota on the team. Um, bear, would you agree with that? Good.

Dota? Good Dodo?

Bearsnake: No, of course. I mean, uh, this is why it works, is because I know nothing about what he's talking about yet. It is crucial that we have someone that does. So, yes, Doda, we love you.

Dotta: Um,

Elf: likewise, my, one of my favorite emojis in the Discord is the little Dota pet emoji. Me too. It's so freaking funny and like, it's so, it's so cute.

I, I, I'm so often to, uh, often tempted to reply to things that Dota says with that emoji, but it also feels like it's a little condescending cuz it's like [00:55:00] literally patting him on the head. So I never do.

Madotsuki: Yeah.

Bearsnake: Jonah, do you take offense to that emoji? Cuz I love that emoji. Oh,

Elf: no, I like it. It's fine. Okay.

Okay. I've just had the, I, you gave me the green light to use it. Okay, good. Um, you know, we actually have some really good cult content this week that I, that I want to give a shout out to. Um, so, uh, one is, uh, cosmic Birds. Cosmic Birds is always doing some really great memes, really great cult content.

Cosmic Birds was super fun to hang out with in Miami. Um, and so today cosmic posted this really, let's, let's return to it, a really great scree, um, in a fortune cookie. Um, and it was such a, it was, it was such a great Photoshop job that, uh, I'm actually don't even know if that was a real scree in a fortune cookie.

Um, definitely real. Yeah, I think it was. I think it was for sure. Um, so that, that was great. And then, uh, and then, [00:56:00] uh, my friends did a, uh, a really great, uh, CG character rig of everybody's favorite, uh, little, um, bread, uh, bread friend. Um, bear. You actually had something to do with that, right?

Bearsnake: Yeah. Bread friend.

I see a bright future for Bread Friend, actually. Um, I, I do too. I want bread friend. I want every child and mother and father and cousin, and uncle and aunt to, to. Have a bread friend. Um, and yes, and, and I am going to make that sole purpose. This is Politician Bears

Dotta: Snake.

Bearsnake: Yeah. I may be campaigning for, uh, for Bread Friend to run the state of California.

Elf: He's got my vote.

Madotsuki: Thank you, Sammy.

Bearsnake: Um, yeah, now Brett Friend is, I think, gonna be my primary focus here, here on that.

Elf: Fair enough. It's, it's, it's a worthy, it's a really focus. Um, [00:57:00] okay. And then speaking of my friends, um, there's a really great piece. Um, I, I think, yeah, it's, it's actually by Osma bro of, uh, of, of a, uh, let's see.

It's a, uh, light manipulator, sage Eldon hits atop a fell pony, Mel, the swell, um, excellent wizard and pony art. Uh, then another project called Crypto Zombies. I don't know much about them, but it looks like they put, uh, a forgotten rooms wizard into their hoard. Um, Again, I don't know much about it, but the, the illustrator they have on their team is excellent.

I, I love this drawing style. Um, so I actually think,

Bearsnake: yeah, I think Brad friends behind that project.

Elf: That would make sense. Yes. Um, okay. And then for a, uh, a real controversial piece of cult content. Um, so, so let me back up for a second. Mags was there. The one who rings, uh, was hired by Magic Machine, um, months ago just because, uh, always great.

Great content coming from Waze. [00:58:00] So we, we just had to bring him in and, uh, I feel like since we brought him in, we, uh, we rarely acknowledge his, his memes or at least don't do it as much. Cuz now he's like an employee. Right. We gave him real work to do. Yeah, yeah. Um, regardless, uh, he did a really great AI piece of, uh, everyone's favorite goblin, uh, Sam Bateman Freed, has a literal goblin and frankly the, uh, the.

The, the art is not too much, too far from the reality. Um, so I don't know if you guys saw that, but, uh, it's, it's a, it's a great piece. Um, I shared it up in the, in the space. Okay. Awesome. Uh, and then, uh, everyone's favorite shield warrior, uh, Joan, danger of riff. Riffraff has another really great piece. Um, just a, a closeup of, uh, of, of Joan Danger's portrait.

Um, love that warrior becoming legendary. Um, and then, uh, Oz did a really great piece of, of another [00:59:00] warrior, um, uh, Kathleen, protector of the Woodlands, uh, facing the legendary beast of the nightmare. I, uh, this is a really nice piece. I, I love, I love the composition of it. I love the colors. Um, just, just really beautiful.

Um, and then, and then speaking of Oz, uh, he did another one of, uh, he's calling it the Birth of the Soul, featuring Soul 1498. Um, I, you know, Oz is so versatile there, there's all kinds of styles that Oz works in. And I gotta say, this is probably one of my favorite styles he does, where it's, it's a little more realistic and the poses are a little more dynamic.

Um, and, uh, it's just, just a beautiful piece. Um, and then, uh, nifty Island, who is, is one of the metas that we are working with. Um, just did a hilarious, uh, video of, um, of, uh, of a female wizard. Um, just doing some, some, uh, some sword play with, uh, with, with what they're calling the Ultra Blade. You know, the thing about this piece, uh, number one, it's beautiful.

You can tell that the meta [01:00:00] they're building is, is just gonna be awesome. However, uh, they are using an old rig of ours. Um, we have since changed style. Uh, so we need to get them a new rig cuz uh, that, that's one of our old ones. Um, regardless. Very cool. And then, uh, ROS, t c g, um, uh, they, they, they did a post and that says, so anyone, every, anyone or, uh, anyone ready to crack some packs?

I, I, I, I could be wrong, but I think they're actually doing physical cards. Um, does, does do, do you know anything about that? Or bear or jitsu? Oh,

Dotta: are they doing physical? I don't know that they're doing physical, but I feel like I should know. I don't know. Given, I know Here you can come up and say, I think they're digital cards.

Okay.

Bearsnake: Yeah. You can still crack a digital pack.

Elf: That's true. Pack can looks so good. You certainly, oh, there, there's hoot who is, uh, who is leading this project, um, while it comes

up.

Dotta: Another one [01:01:00] is Wizard Nouns have walk cycles with Web three integration.

Elf: Wait. Oh, amazing.

Bearsnake: Yeah, I saw that. They look incredible.

Elf: How did Amazing

Dotta: Wizard Nows got into Web three faster than we got Warriors into

Elf: Web three? No, that's great. Um, give Ahoo, what's up? Hey, hey, heavy Wizard Wednesday. How's it going?

Madotsuki: Hey, um, hey, we will be cracking digital packs for the Roos tcg. Got it. Um, however, I, when I've shown people this concept, I mean, I would love to make physical cards, which you can get via the treasure trove.

Just thrown it out there. You get the, you can get, uh, physical ruins, cards to play with people I r l and they're awesome. Um, but yeah, and also, I mean, speaking of Oz, the, the one and only he did the card pack art, if it's not, if it's not obvious and it's amazing. Um, so, uh,

Elf: so yep. Very good. Very good. It's amazing.

Yep. Um, meadow, did, did you wanna say something? Oh, yeah, I was gonna

Madotsuki: comment on the, the Brus card, but Give, who [01:02:00] came up from himself to talk about it? That it was, I believe you said you, there's, it's gonna be the, like the new cards that are coming out that people will be able to submit. Right. Because we already have like the tests, net ones that Oz made originally for like the original pack.

And then these are gonna be like brand new ones with new art and stuff. Right. Yep. Oh. Oh, correct. So these are actually the cards that were funded by the Dow. Um, the proposal. So this is, um, this is kind of that coming to fruition. I've been able to work with the artists even though the Dow funding has been a little bit slower.

Oh, the

Elf: Dow. And so, yeah.

Madotsuki: Oh man. Maybe that can, uh, maybe we can talk about that another wizard Wednesday. But, um, but yeah, so this is, uh, There's gonna be, I think, 62

Elf: cards. Cause uh, it's funny, I got the commission for 60,

Madotsuki: but the artists I was working with actually ended up being able to do a few extra and I just like, couldn't say no to them making more cards.

So I like paid a little out of pocket to make some cards, but, um, but, uh, but yeah, so these are the new cards. They'll be able to mint and more details coming on this soon. Um, and, uh, and so yeah, pay attention to the [01:03:00] Twitter. I'll be putting in us information. Also join the Discord if you haven't, but, um, but yeah, that's, that's a little about it out.

Dotta: Let me talk about the Dow for a second. Since, since you brought it up, the Dow is still going. So, uh, is, so I wanna give, uh, just a massive thanks and appreciation for everyone who, who, who's been a part of the Dow. So this is Bam Bam, me Jitsu Mado, retired yield farmer, the one who rings meth, uh, Reptar and tv, and then previously Slick Chick and just the, they.

I know that it's like I, it was probably last November that we announced that we're doing in Dow, and they have been meeting every single week. We've been meeting every single week, um, and meeting with legal. And we, uh, have like three different, uh, you know, combinations of like lawyers and service providers and board members in, uh, based out of the Caymans.

And we have been putting together, um, legal docs, uh, like procedural docs. Um, [01:04:00] and these meetings are, Uh, to put it lightly, incredibly boring. And they have been, um, just doing such a good job to being like really, really, um, like showing a lot of grit because the process has been, uh, frankly like quite frustrating because it's a lot of, like, we give documentation and they want to make sure that like, I'm not a terrorist and then like they want, like, you know, the blood of my children.

And it's just like so much documentation. But we are very, very close. I think that we, um, I, I believe that we get, we have like one more piece of paper, um, to send them and we should be green lit to actually like file the formal paperwork for the Dow, um, in January. So, yeah, it's been a long time coming.

I'm incredibly like, proud of the team there. They're, they're all like very smart, like professional motivated people meeting every single week, and it's still taken us this long. Um, I think it goes to show you one, just like how a lot of like, quote unquote DAOs are probably just sort of like [01:05:00] winging it.

Um, and when we're done, we're basically gonna have like something that is like very well structured, very legally sound. Um, and yeah, I'm just really thankful to that team. So the Dow should be ready in

Elf: January. Yep. Agree. I, I've been sitting on the sidelines, but every time I see, uh, just. Just the bureaucracy that you guys are going through.

It's, uh, works. It looks like a nightmare. Well, just like

Dotta: legal and banking and governments like, don't like, like they're, they're like, uh, both like skeptical, cautious, and like they don't even understand like crypto and how it works. And so they're so far behind. Yeah.

Madotsuki: I think they don't really understand more of like, kind of like this online commerce kind of thing in a way.

Like, cuz they're used to commerce as like, you know, person to person. Like you have a customer that, you know, whatever, like it's all good, but like, when you have that anonymity that like scares them, it's like, well we don't know what's being at, what's being done in the shadowy underbelly of the internet and stuff.

So it's like, it's, listen, we're just doing, like, it's not [01:06:00] nothing, you know, shadowy going on with funding projects that people were just doing for fun, you know, like that's just people supporting one another. But it's like they wanna make sure everything is, you know, traceable in case something, you know, in case there's some shadowy stuff going on and it's really scary.

My favorite part is getting into a conversation with, like, in my mind, I have my cobalt mask or suit on, and I'm like, all right, lawyers, I'm dumb as bricks. Please explain everything to me like I'm two. And just like trying to like sift through this all and figure it all out. It's, it's been educational and I think it's ultimately driving everybody that we have this goal that's going to highlight and emphasize some of the great creation creat, uh, creators and creations that we have behind the community.

And so it's like the, the star right there are like the light at the end of the tunnel that I don't think we would've all done it if we didn't believe that this will be something that we can use for years to come. That will only help the community express themselves and create art. Right? Like that's the goal.

We're aiming for it. I think it's [01:07:00] close. It's just so just been, it's a trek. It's a trek. Yeah. You've been

Dotta: doing a good job.

Madotsuki: I've seen some of the artwork that's come out from, that's like kind of in the works from the, the wound C CG that's coming out next, next. Uh, well I'm, I don't know how one's coming out, but, um, I've seen some of the upcoming art.

I haven't seen all of it, so I'm not quite spoiled, but I can say that it's, it's come out really well. Um, there's a lot of great artists are working on it, and so I'm so glad that the Dow was able to help, like support funding it. Um, thank you so much for, um, you know, for, uh, getting this project going through and kind of like, you know, um, accepting that we're gonna be a bit slower for making that, that full payment.

But appreciate you so much. You given who for, for working on it. I think everyone's gonna be really glad to see it.

Elf: Plus one of that. Um, well, we're almost outta time, um, the, the team from Goblin Town. Uh, so thrilled to have you on stage today. Did you wanna [01:08:00] say anything final? Any final words? Um,

Madotsuki: you know, I just, I think there's so much cool, like, awesome, uh, parallels between our two communities and I'm just really grateful for the chance to meet y'all and, and get to know you a little bit better.

Um, super excited about some stuff that we might do together and, um, I, I think I've kind of described it internally and, and to some other people this way, like, There are a few communities out here that I feel like the holders and the members of that community are willing to like really put on the costume and show up to the party playing their character.

And I think that's something we both do incredibly well. Um, I, when I first got into NFTs Forgotten Ruins was one of the first ones I identified as like, that is a place that I need to be, and as soon as I could afford to buy and I grabbed one, I've got a couple wizards now and I'm gonna keep buying 'em up.

Um, you guys are awesome and it's been so, so great to meet you and get to know you. Um, yeah. Thank you. This is, this has been fun. Very [01:09:00] excited for things to, to come and super excited to play that game.

Bearsnake: Woohoo. And excited to, uh, see what you guys do next. So, uh, we'll be keeping a lookout.

Elf: Yep. Thanks so much.

Um, anyone else? Final words?

Madotsuki: Oh, I will say one last word actually. Um, the, uh, I know earlier you touched on that the wizard nouns are playable in web three. Um, I think that there are some that are having like issues loading in web three. Uh, so we'll work with the Web three team and kind of like see what's, what's wrong with having them load.

Um, in the meantime, if you want you can like, you know, ping me in the, in the discord, let me know, hey, my, I've tried going to web three with my wizard noun and it's not working. Um, and then we'll, we'll get those numbers sorted out for you and we'll also we'll be able to send you your walks rights, um, like just the spreadsheet similar to how you're able to download the sprites from the book of lore so that we can just see it for yourself and you can use it for yourself as well.

Um, more to come on that. I guess I'll, I'll do a, a larger announcement next week cuz I [01:10:00] wanna talk a bit more about it, but just, uh, just a heads

Elf: up. Thank you everybody. Awesome. Give Ahoo, did you have something? Yeah, actually two

Madotsuki: things real quick. One, we didn't get to your piece of cult content, so I feel like we should do that next week.

Um Oh

Elf: yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, I'll talk about it next week. Um, and then, or this week or whatever. But then second is also, I

Madotsuki: mean, this is like kind of becoming a weekly thing, but like Itus is killing it with his pony races. I think the Pony race thread might be one of like the most active places in the, in the Discord right now.

Um, he's running like a race of 60 ponies and like tracking all the rolls and stuff and like, it's just absolutely insane and it's like a lot of fun. So, um, huge shout out to him too. And it's just, it's been, it's been super fun the past few weeks participating, so, um, yeah, I had to, had to throw

Elf: it in there too.

Totally agree. Leg itus, uh, the, the Pony Race, uh, manager. Um, I've, I've been loving it. My, uh, my pony. I think my Pony's doing pretty well. I don't think he's in last place, but I don't think he's [01:11:00] in first place either. Uh, so, but yeah, I, I agree. Black, black Sam's Pony racing a univer favorite for sure. Um, should we let Sammy Kitty sign us off?

I was just getting ready to do that. Yep. Um, Sammy, are you ready? Come on, Sammy. I'm born. Ready, guys born. All

Madotsuki: right. Have at it. Okay. This has been Sammy Kitty, elf, Doda Bear, mad Jit Orbis, and the team from Goblin Town channeling out. Goodnight, everybody. Let's, we love.
