Wizard Wednesday Episode 44, June 29th 2022

=

Elf: [00:00:00] It is Wednesday. We are wizards. We are not ducks. And it's time for our weekly cult meeting, wizard Wednesday. This is Elf

Dotta: and Doda. And bear.

Elf: And it looks like we have jitsu up on stage too. What's up Jitsi?

Dotta: What's up fam? Not much. It's hot over here. Cobalt. So

Elf: NFT NYC is officially over the cobalt Kool-Aid is gone.

The pony is back on the farm and Gigas Chad is back in the gym. And, uh, the quantum oroboro says, radiating its divine light across the lands. This beast shows us that time is not linear. It is a [00:01:00] wheel that cycles and repeats. And it just so happens that tomorrow, June 30th will be the one year anniversary of the Secret Tower opening and the summoning of the wizards.

Happy birthday, hon.

Dotta: Happy

Elf: birthday. Just kidding. Uh, exactly. One year ago today, the wizards were minted and the universe was born. Uh, we have traveled one full cycle. Can you guys believe it's been one full cycle? One full year? No,

Dotta: it feels

Elf: like three. Yes, it definitely does. Three or five or ten

Dotta: Three. I was gonna say, I think it's, let's, let's multiply that by a

Elf: couple.

Yeah. We, uh, we were internally building another deck. We've built like [00:02:00] maybe 20 pitch decks for various reasons. And, um, we were going over just like all the things we wanna put in it. And I was just like sitting back and looking and just like, how did we do all of this in one year? It's, it's shocking. Can I

Dotta: ask what you two were doing, um, at this hour?

Exactly. 365

Elf: days ago. Oh,

Dotta: oh, I think that I was fixing like Firefox bugs on Windows or

Elf: something. Yes. It's like we were bug hunting.

Dotta: Yeah. The fonts don't work on windows all of a

Elf: sudden. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. No,

Dotta: was all the art, was all the art done?

Elf: Yeah, the art was done. Yep. Yep. The art was done. The, the, uh, collection was done.

Yeah, it was, it was bug hunting on the website and I, I truly believed in the morning we were not gonna be able to launch with the bug free, uh, mint. But, [00:03:00] um, but yeah. So, uh, we've got a lot to talk about today. Um, I wanna touch on the comic. I wanna touch on just community. I wanna talk about a few more party anecdotes.

Um, and uh, I wanna start off with, uh, the biggest thing that's happened in, in the last few days, which was Beast Zero, the Quantum or Boros, um, which was just auctioned at Christie's, the auction closed. It was amazingly, the very last piece out of 24, uh, to, um, to close the auction because people kept bidding on it.

Um, it was the most bidded right? Outta all of 'em. Yeah, it got 23 bids. Um, and the, the, the, my favorite thing is Christie's had an estimate on it at 35 K and it blew way past that for a closing price of 136 K. [00:04:00] Um, So, yeah. And it's, and it's, congratulations man. Congratulations.

Dotta: Yeah. Congratulations. I was so proud of you.

And like, I have felt like, uh, for a long time that I think you're one of ones or under-recognized. So I'm a collector of a few of them, and I love them. I treasure them. I'm just so happy to see your work get recognized in kind of like a traditional auction house. It's just, just incredible. So proud of

Elf: you.

Well, I, it's, I mean, thank you, but I feel like it's a win for the whole cult and the whole team. It's, uh, you know, it's, it's part of Forgotten Ruined. It's, it's part of the Beasts. Um, it's, uh, you know, it's part of the universe. And, um, you know, I mean, this is a good segue into like a really important thing that I've, I've really, it's, it's really just been driven home over the last week, and that's how important the community is.

I mean, the quantum, more Boros and, and really just all the forgotten rooms would not be what it, what it is without the [00:05:00] community. Um, and so, you know, like, like for me and, and our team, like last week, you know, of course it was about the party and it was about fun. Um, but we also took a lot of meetings.

There was also a lot of business happening. Um, and, you know, something that just kept coming up, coming up in every, uh, every talk we had with like money people was, um, you know, one of the, one of the biggest things that they were interested in. Uh, one of our biggest strengths is the community itself. Um, and it's just, you know, like, like for example, we were talking, bear and I were talking to, um, one of the Hollywood financiers and, um, You know, we were talking about the show and we were talking about Web three, and uh, I was actually wearing, um, one of the, the Nosferatu fanny packs, uh, that moron capital put out, which are amazing.

Yeah. Yeah. And, uh, and this guy, I, I, so I [00:06:00] was like, I was like, yeah, did you see this fanny pack? Um, one of our com community members made this, and like, as soon as he saw it, and then once I told him that, like the whole conversation pivoted and he was super interested in, in, in the fanny pack, and like, he held the conversation there for like a good five minutes and we're just asking a ton of questions about it.

He was like, I want one of those myself. He was like, I can't believe a community member made that. Like, it suddenly like really like drove home, like this whole new level of like, Community involvement and passion and, and building that, that they would make something like a fanny pack. Um, and you know, and, and I really like, I really gave it all the context that it needed, but it was like, you know, that was just one example.

Um, and, and you know, e even even uh, uh, realize who is, was the buyer of the, the Quantum or Boros Bear, and I had dinner with him in, in Merlin. And, um, you know, even him, he was, he straight up was just like, the most fascinating [00:07:00] about this project is the community itself. Um, and so it's just, you know, it, it maybe sound, it maybe sounds cliche, but we would be nothing without you guys.

It's, you know, what would forgotten ruins, wizard's, cult be without the cult. Yeah. Um, and so, you know, just everybody we talked to echoed this and, you know, it's, it's, it's not surprising because I, I'm just gonna say it, our, our community is the best in the entire N F T space. I mean, show me a community that is more engaged, that is building more, that is creating more, that is living, breathing and eating magic like the Forgotten Ruins community.

Seriously, there there's no one else. Nobody creates like the cult and nobody builds like Magic Machine. It's, and also,

Dotta: or just generous with one another. You know, I was, I hope you don't, that doesn't mind me outing him cuz it was a. Community experience, but I was talking to Red at the party, so if you don't know red, he uh, [00:08:00] he was actually the person who minted the Dota wizard.

Uh, you know, if, if, if you're somewhat recent to the call, you may not know that the Dota wizard was actually part of the collection. I deliberately left it in and then, uh, someone minted it and it ended up being red, uh, before he ended up, uh, uh, uh, selling it to dialectic. And, uh, he had a terrible hack, uh, maybe about, I don't know, a month ago, uh, where he lost several wizards and a lot of other NFTs.

And when he came to me, uh, at the party, he said, he said, I know you have a lot of people to talk to. I don't want take up too much of your time, which I didn't mind. I was happy to talk to anyone. Uh, and he said, The cult showed up for me. He was like, it was a terrible time for my life. I lost so much worth in terms of NFTs.

And he, he named off, I wish I'd written it down, three or four cult members who came in and either bought his NFTs or they gifted him NFTs. And he said, I was able to like, rebuild from basically nothing because of the generosity of the people in the Colton. It was just, he was [00:09:00] just like, thank you so much for, uh, everything you know, you've built here.

Which, you know, I don't feel like I built it alone, but the sentiment stance, uh, which belongs to all of us, which is we have a community that is generous and cares for one another. Yep. It's, it's hard, you know, it's hard to like convey, you know, that, that, that fanny pack, that fanny pack, an anecdote is like, it's, it's hard to convey what exactly is happening.

Um, cause that's like part of our job, right? At least like, you know, I know I, I spend a lot of time trying to like, uh, synthesize what's going on. Um, To people who have no clue what web three even even is. And it's so difficult to like, put it into words, put it into pictures, even like there's a slide with like all of this, all these like pictures from the cult, uh, cult, cult content.

And it's like, it's just not even, it's not even enough. Like it just pictures don't even do it justice. So like we're having, you guys are pushing us to like figure out how to, [00:10:00] how to talk about what this thing has become. And it's quite interesting. I think it's hard. No one's really seen anything before.

Elf: Yeah. We, we just got, um, DM from someone who's like building a brand new game, um, with, with the Wizards and our, our jaws were on the floor as to how like, fun this game looked and, and like, after Dota was like, There is so much going on in the cult. I, I can't even keep track of it all.

Dotta: Yeah, exactly. I've been feeling that so much.

Uh, with, with with the community. I think another thing that feels really wonderful is like for the first, like reflecting on our past year, I would say for the first like nine months to 10 months, or actually just quite a long time, I read every single message on Discord and tried to respond to everything and to know everything that's going on.

And it just reached like a breaking point where I [00:11:00] wasn't able to even read what was going on. And then, um, you know, we brought on jitsu in particular who helped me with some of that. And then, uh, and now I feel like there's more going on, not just chat, but like people actually doing things that I can't keep track of.

Like I haven't read. All of the Dow proposals that are coming in. I don't know, like I'll hop into channels where like, I used to try to like every single piece of derivative art, like I would fave every single piece of art that was on Twitter and like, I can't anymore. There's too much. Um, and then I, I heard through a rumor that like, I think it's um, Lee, like someone's holding like a d n D game, uh, for wizards that I'm, like, I, it's, I'm only ambiently aware of, I think some people are playing, um, like a hide and go seek witch game, I want to call it with the Witcher, but that's someone's called, right?

There's, there's like community events. What is it? It's called wit. We're playing today actually like the 10 or 12 players. [00:12:00] Okay. Yeah. So wit download wit if you wanna play, I dunno if you have too many people, but, uh, and like, and. On top of it. It's not only that there's so much going on, but that like the, the culture of our community is like intact.

You know, there's so many discords, nft, discords that have been a part of where the, the vibe is just like toxic or at least tense. And I feel like it took us a lot of kind of like, um, like personal attention to set the culture, right. But now we don't have to do that because the community maintains it. So I think, I don't know, just reflecting on the past year, I, I love what it's become and that it's like for sure outgrown the three of us for sure.

Elf: Yep. Yeah, I, yeah. I'm not sure if you guys know who Kathy Wood is. She's the, like, lead at ARC Invest. Um, it's like a fund that builds a portfolio around emerging technology. But, um, you know, one of her key stones in her investing strategy [00:13:00] is to go where the developers are. Um, like go where the builders are, because that's where the value is being created.

And, and I, I just, I think the same applies to N F T communities. Like our community builds, our community develops, our community creates, and that's what's, that's what's gonna get us in ahead is like, like the root of like this whole idea of decentralized world building. It, it, it's, it's kind of like, There's two dimensions to it.

There's like the quote, fictional universe world, which is not even fictional, but you know, there's like the, the lore and the art that we're all creating in a decentralized way. But then there's like the franchise itself, like the business, the, uh, the, like the business vision of it. And, and even that's kind of a decentralized, uh, building, um, because you guys are building games, you're making comics, you're making books, you're making animation.

You're just like making the universe bigger and bigger every day. Um, so again, you know, th this, the whole point of this is like to say [00:14:00] thank you to the community. Um, the cult would not be what it is without the cult. Um, and, uh, you know, it's, you guys are are everything. So, um, you know, and seeing you guys at the party just really like drove that home.

It was so fun. Yeah, I'm still recovering. Yeah, seriously. Um, speaking of the party, so there, yeah, we've, I wanna, I wanna just go over a few other anecdotes. Um, and, uh, but, but first, uh, Jitsu actually wrote a, uh, blog post. Um, it's on our website and it's called a Knight of Might and Magic. And when I first saw that title, I was like, do we really need might in there?

But then I realized, oh yeah, you guess Chad Body Slam someone. So it was definitely a night of,

but JT do you wanna talk about this blog post?

Dotta: Uh, sure. Yeah. I think [00:15:00] it was just really wanting to talk through an experience. That was happening and then go through like shit ton of like video and content that we had to kind of hone it down to what was 24 photos. But there's some real gems in there.

And I really just wanted people who didn't to attend, who didn't attend, to be able to go step by step, what it was like to be there, the front of the door. You get in there and explore, experience the performance. You kind of just like try to try to state how good the vibes were, I guess, in the energy in the air, which I know can't be told with, um, just through those things.

But it was a pleasure making it, this is why I'm here. Um, yeah. Love it.

Elf: Yeah, it's, it's a great post. Um, you know, we, we did a, we did a Wizard Wednesday live from New York, um, two days after the party. That was one of the most fun wizard Wednesdays ever, even though it was only 30 minutes long. Um, but we had a bunch of cult members live with us, uh, broadcasting.

[00:16:00] So that was awesome. And then, um, Yeah, if, if you haven't heard that one, uh, it's, it's on our YouTube channel, the, the one from last week. Um, and then one another fun thing I noticed was, uh, bar and I, you know, we went to a bunch of other parties after the Universe party over the next few days, and we saw people wearing, uh, forgotten Ruins shirts and merch.

Um, some people I, I would go up to anyone who, who was wearing it and like, some people weren't even in the cult. They just loved the, the shirts or whatever. Um, so that was awesome. Uh, speaking of merch bar, do you wanna say anything about like what we're gonna have available soon-ish?

Dotta: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So, um, yeah, so all merch, posters,

Cult Member #2: stickers, uh,

Dotta: everything that was at the party, um, will be available online, uh, I think by the end of the week.

Don't quote me on that, but [00:17:00] it should be, it should be live by Friday, if not early next week. So you'll be in the comic book too. Of course, the comic book is free. Um, if you buy a piece of merch, um, I think we're including, uh, some stickers and comic books too for free as well. Um, so all of that stuff will be up and I, and I believe it's like, I think it's like two.

Two pieces of merch are free for anyone who's holding, uh, forgotten room's, token of any sorts. And then, uh, and then purchase whatever is left. But like, I think I just like went through and like slashed all the prices. I think again, like the merch isnt about making money, it's, it's about getting it into your hands, into everybody's hands.

So, um, we're just trying to like cover a cost essentially. Um, and yeah, so all that stuff will be available really soon. Please be patient.

Elf: Yep. Um, and then another thing that just happened recently was, [00:18:00] okay, so last Wizard Wednesday. I was like, I was like, yeah, Oliver Tree, uh, body or gig Chad, body Slam.

Someone, I hope it ends up in tmz and then like, Literally two days later it was in tmz.

Dotta: How'd that happen? Um, yeah.

Elf: Tell us how that did happen. Bear,

Dotta: I dunno. Just little ELs. Little ELs. And there's just magic in the air. I don't know what happened. I'm actually going to text Oliver to see if he wants to come on.

Uh, was it Wednesday right now?

Elf: Is that cool? Uh, yeah, of course.

Dotta: Um, does, does anybody know if like PV bought that footage or anything? It would be like amazing if some, if like a wizard had ended up getting a paycheck for, for recording it. What? No, apparently Oliver, it was like one of Oliver's dreams. I may be exaggerating here, but what I heard is that I was like, one of his dreams, like be on TMZ for something stupid and funny like this, and so, oh, ok, ok, okay.

I think we [00:19:00] may have fulfilled Oliver Re's Dream, uh, of being on and, and just so everybody knows, it was absolutely not staged. Um, and he also did not punch the guy. I think we talked about it last week. I was like half asleep I think on Wizard Wednesday, but yeah, no one was hurt in the making Cmz video.

Elf: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, yeah, in fact, I heard the guy who got body slammed later was on the yacht. He was at the yacht party. Um, I think Locke talked to him. I'm not sure, but um, but actually that leads me into my next point, which was probably my biggest regret over the whole NYC thing was I did not make it onto the yacht.

Um, I had other engagements that I could not, uh, disengage from. Um, but yeah, I really wanted to be on that yacht. I, uh, I heard that Dr. Popowski did the worm on the yacht, so, oh, we got wild[00:20:00]

actually, jt, you were there. Do you wanna fill us in on any other highlights of the, of the yacht party, you know,

Dotta: There's a lot I remember about that event. There's a lot I don't remember too, let's put it that way. Um, you know, from stepping onto it, being able to be on the water with everybody, I really didn't know what to expect entirely.

But we got so close with Statue of Liberty, music was going the entire time. It wasn't packed, like you say, yacht party in a boat. You think there's too many people. It wasn't, it was really great. Everyone there was super friendly. A little bit of exhaustion from everybody cuz we're towards the end of the week, but, um, couldn't have gone smoother.

Pizza, uh, cobal macaroons along with all you could drink for about three hours on the water, um, was fantastic. I mean, I, I talked to so many people and it was a little, it wasn't as overwhelming as some of the other events I went to, and it was just all around Good. I hope everyone had a fun time.

Elf: Awesome.

Um, yeah. And then, uh, another thing we noticed was that there was [00:21:00] a lot of cosplay at the party, which was, which was great because, um, you know, I, I don't think that's a, a, a thing that happened at, at a, a lot of other N F T parties, um, donor did, or bear, did you guys wanna say something about the cosplay?

Well, I just

Dotta: love it. Like, I think that we wanna make it more like socially acceptable and also just helping, like, making sure people know that you can dress up when you come to a wizard party. Um, and I also think like, uh, uh, I also think that it would be so fun to have, you know, more tutorials of how to dress up like your wizard, right?

Because, um, you know, because some of the parts of wizards are composable, you could imagine some of the costume could also be composable. That was, I, I forget what we were talking about. This might have been last week or just yesterday. Just feel like, like furries, for example, would be, would fit right in to the cult if they didn't take NFTs so

Elf: much.

But I'm gonna hang on something you just said, which [00:22:00] was, which it sounded like you said you want more furries to infiltrate the cult, which, uh,

Dotta: the one thing for throughout an entire monologue.

Elf: Yeah. Which, uh, you know, I, I'm down for. That's, I'm cool with that.

Dotta: No, but I'll pick up, I'll pick up where he was talking. I think what's what we, we love the idea of playing dress up. We all play dress up. We all did it when we were kids. Some of us still do it now.

Um, and just, I think that's one of the things that like differentiates us, right? You know, it's like people really feel an attachment to their character, so much so that they dress up. Um, and, um, I had to like talk to silly business people during the party, so I couldn't like, have business conversations while I was dressed up as a wizard.

Um, But, uh, I think I, I'd, I'd love to like lean into that and, and we wanna, we definitely had a, a, during team meeting, we talked about, um, leaning into that and, and how we can help, uh, encourage that even more. [00:23:00]

Elf: Well, I mean also, also speaking of like business people at the party, that was one of the things that really impressed them, right?

Was just like, again, speaking to the community, seeing how passionate they were that they would even dress up as their character. Um, I mean, isn't there a spec, a certain venture fund who was particularly impressed by that?

Dotta: Yeah. No people, yeah. Multiple, multiple businessy type suits, uh, that weren't wearing suits that were blending in quite nicely.

Um, were just like, we've never even seen anything like this one. Having you guys have, oh, now you cut

Elf: out Bear Mini. Sorry. Someone keeps

Dotta: calling me. Um, so one of 'em was even like, you guys are having your own little mini comic-con, and that like, made me so happy and I just, I'm not seeing that anywhere else.

And I'm obviously, I'm not surprised because that's just how, that's how we do it. It's

Elf: really cool. Um, cool. Yeah. And then, and then just another thing was, um, [00:24:00] it's uh, it's around this idea of like, Establishing the Beasts as like cultural icons. Um, so, you know, it's something I've been thinking a lot about.

Um, you know, the Beast tokens are very special and like, you know, we're, we're trying to think of like tokens and utility to give to these beasts and we've got a bunch of ideas. But, you know, I, I think another thing about them that sort of goes untalked about, and, and this really applies to every token, but like the Beasts are really starting to show this, which is this idea of, um, like again, like of of, of establishing them as like cultural icons.

So for example, like the gig is Chad Beast, um, you know, obviously like Oliver dressed up as the giga Chad, and then it ended up in T M Z and you know, that's now part of the giga Chad's lore because these i r l things are happening in these like very significant social contexts. [00:25:00] Um, And, uh, you know, it's just like adding to the, the legend that is the gigas Chad.

And then, you know, the, the other beasts are, are doing this too. Like the chimera, the chimera was actually in the trailer and it was the first beast to emerge from the gate. Um, the cock treese was in issue zero of the comic. Um, the Kelpie was in that, that fun ad in the comic. Um, the, uh, who am I, who am I missing?

Um, There's a few others. Hold on. I, I got it. Uh oh. Okay. And then the, uh, the, the, the kitna and, uh, the emp and the bug bear. So we don't, we, nothing has happened with those yet, but trust me, we have plans. Um, and yeah, there's, I just, I love what the Beasts are becoming. Oh, and then the Quantum Mora Boro, so it was in that auction and it was literally on Times Square.

Um, so yeah, I don't know. I, I, I just loved seeing the beast on that wall at the party. [00:26:00] Um, and they're all, they're all just becoming very legendary.

Dotta: Yeah. I'd love to do chimera pup stuffies. My kids have been asking for like stuffies of all the

Cult Member: beasts.

Elf: Yep, yep. Chime Cub Plushies. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Or or bug bear plushies.

That, that's super cute. Yeah,

Dotta: super cute. Okay, so my thing about furries was that they, That

Elf: they like. Wait, you're back on the furries. Yeah, I got cut off. They like making art

Dotta: about their characters. They, they are into like sewing and making costumes, doing cosplay, telling narratives like hanging out in Discord and like Tumblr and like making artwork.

Right? Like I, I really don't see why they don't love the cult. Right? So if you know any furries in your life, uh, you should tell them about the Wizards Cult because just seems like it should work,

Elf: dude. The, the furry community gets a lot of hate, but I think a lot of it's [00:27:00] unnecessary. I think furries are pretty awesome, so I totally agree.

Dotta: Yeah, I, I've mentioned, I've mentioned before from my circle that there's a lot of fun overlap between NFTs and Defer communities. Like how their communities essentially, like, they essentially started out as what NFT communities are now. Just bunch of people that like, Collecting animal pictures and like creating your personas around animal pictures and stuff.

And it's like, it feels like there should be such a huge overlap, but it's almost as if it's like, it's almost as if there's like a feeling of like, we're

Cult Member: the, we are the big dogs in town. This is our

Dotta: territory. Get off. Yeah.

Elf: Yeah, that's true. Yeah, we we're, we the weird sub cult that's os ostracized by the mainstream, not you.

Right, right, right.

Dotta: Exactly.

Cult Member: Give it time. Yeah.

Elf: Um, awesome. Yeah, if, if anyone else has any, uh, fun party anecdotes, please come up and share. Um, [00:28:00] but, but yeah, again, the party was just awesome.

Dotta: Well, and speaking of, uh, real life events that create lore and cultural icons, uh, retired yield farmer this week instigated, uh, a burning

Elf: of 13 Warriors.

Oh my God, yes. What was that? Whoa. R yf.

Dotta: R yf.

Elf: I'm blaming you. R yf. Come up here and explain yourself. Yeah.

Dotta: What the hell is even going on? So, yeah. So I was, and I are, uh, trying to work on a forgotten wounds wiki, uh, uh, affectionately called, uh, w w Wikipedia. And I put together a little page trying to document the event.

Um, but basically, uh, yeah, yield farmer. Well, I, I think it started even with c Mike Draw, C Mike Draw, semi Supers name basically was asking, you know, oh, if I had some money, should, should you buy wizards or warriors? And, uh, yeah. And yield farmer said, Wizards, I'll never forget the Warriors for what they did to [00:29:00] our wizard floor and then proceeded to burn.

I don't know exactly how many r f did, but like 13 or like 10, 10, I think on his own right. He, he burned 10 straight to the burn address, no sacred Flame, no website, no nothing. Just like destroyed, uh, these warriors years. Uh, and then he was followed by at least three other cult members, but I don't know who they were.

So if anyone knows who they are, uh, yeah, drop it in the chat and we'll record it. Obviously you've got them to beast, right? That is a good, that is a good plan. And so it definitely got my mind working to, uh, ways that we also might encourage that kind of, uh, uh, uh, process. So, What a bunch of

Elf: DJs. Uh, tad What's up,

Cult Member: man?

Oh, well, I wanted to mention, uh, I actually got caught up in a little bit of that madness and, uh, I, I blame, I blame all the, the cult activity over the last week. Uh, finally [00:30:00] made it home and I, I brought the, uh, the omicron with me and was actually just lying down for the first time that I was gonna get some sleep.

And I saw all this madness happening in the sales chat. And, uh, unfortunately, I, I got out of bed and next thing I know, spike Cleaver of Cobalt sent his ass to the burn. Yeah, man to cry. Is that for real? To cobal bleed their own blood. He was cast into the flames. Oh my God. The hoard. Don't mess around. No, don't mess with the hoard.

We've been, we've been together for way too long. We're, we're way too organized. Uh, but actually I, I think it was a fever dream and then I woke up and I was like, man, that. That Warrior's gone

Dotta: like, I'm so glad I didn't burn that. Wait

a

Cult Member: minute. Oh, I blame rha. He is made a lot of good decisions. I, I'll follow him down a few bad ones.

Elf: Uh, NFT enthusiast. What's up man? Hey, all good.

Dotta: Just chilling. It's actually my birthday today and I just [00:31:00] wanted to join and say hi everyone.

Elf: What's good? Hey, we have

Dotta: the same birthday you actually, well, it's our cult's birthday tomorrow.

Cult Member: Oh, damn.

Elf: Very close. Awesome. Yeah.

Dotta: Yeah. Damn. Cool. Wow. Good in here.

What's up? Yeah. Hey. Oh,

Elf: matrix. What's up? Yeah.

Dotta: Hey. So I wanted to talk to everyone about this little art exhibit I've been curating, um, that I've been

Cult Member #2: trying to

Dotta: make happen for a while. Um, So if you don't know, I've been an artist in this space for almost two years, and so there are tons of artists who I'd love to help bring into this community.

And so I've been starting with five artists, um, who I chose, who I know would be, would be a [00:32:00] great fit in this community. Um, and I gave them the prompt to make magical art, whatever that means to them. And so they will all be getting warriors in exchange for just creating. And then I will put it into a little, um, crypto voxels online gallery.

And the, the goal of this is to both bring new and like a diverse group of artists into this, uh, cult. And um, also to. Create new connections with them and like, hopefully find them new collectors and like maybe potential commissions from you all. So, um, there, it's almost, it's almost all ready to go. I'm, I'm waiting for one more to submit, but they're all like really amazing artists and like some OGs in the space and I feel like they could contribute a lot.

So I hope I can [00:33:00] keep doing this, but yeah, I just wanna give everyone a heads up that this will be ready soon. I don't have the exact date yet cuz I'm still waiting on one of them, but, um, yeah, so when that does happen, I think it would be awesome if we could all support their art and like give them a nice welcome.

Awesome. What's the best way that we can support them? Are, are we, are we picking people, uh, and are we buying their artwork directly or are they doing commissions? How do, so how does it work operationally? So for this, I just asked them to create a piece and just in exchange for, for that, they're getting a warrior and then it's up to them.

I think they'll all mint it and like, because I wanted them to be able to set their own prices. So like these magical art pieces that they made initially, you guys will probably have the opportunity to collect them if you like them. And then like also it will just be an introduction to them. So if you like their style, then you can commission them more.

But yeah, so [00:34:00] these pieces, um, should be all for sale.

Elf: All right. Thanks Nitrix. Awesome. Thank

Dotta: you. Thanks Matrix. Very cool. Yeah, and a lot of them I know already love the Wizards and have wanted to be involved for a while too. So

Cult Member #2: I think it would be a good, a good fit.

Elf: Uh, lo punky there.

Maybe not.

Dotta: I'll look it up here. So while she's coming up, um, I've added a bunch of like cool cult content up in the, uh, shared tweets in the space. So for example, you can see the, uh, COBOL macrons from the wizzy, uh, yacht party. And there's some like great cold content there. Um, a particular note is the Univer game.

I hope that everyone was able to, uh, find all a hundred frogs. I don't know the actual final [00:35:00] numbers. Do we know the final numbers of how many people even found the, all the frogs? I think it was something like, um, well at least the top

Elf: 25. But yeah, I don't know. But, but speaking of the Univer game, um, we were gonna have, uh, the, um, the creative di director from by Sonic, uh, on today as a guest, but I think we're gonna try to do him next week.

And he would know the answers to all that stuff.

Dotta: Amazing. The game is really, could I ask a quick question on that? Absolutely. Yeah. Hey, so a

Cult Member: few of us were talking, I was so hectic in New York. I never even got a chance to really log on and walk around. And I would love the chance whether the Frog Game is active or not, just to be able to explore the world and walk around the map and take screenshots and just kind of hear the music.

Is there any way that we could possibly get the, just the interface live again?

Dotta: That's the same. I was wanna ask because I didn't have a chance to, uh, Tabitha here, right? Uh, to, to get into the game maybe for five minutes. Uh, then [00:36:00] Covid struck and everything. Uh, so, and then the game was turned off again. So I, I was wondering if we can get a second chance just to walk around.

How many people got Covid in Nft? N

Elf: Y C? Oh, I don't wanna know. It's like basically everyone,

Dotta: right? Um, okay. Yeah. We will chat with by Sonic and, um, you know, I know that we for sure want to get it back up and running again. Um, but they're, you know, working hard at work to kind of build out the world, make it even more detailed, building out, you know, armor and weapons and battling.

So for sure the time will come when, uh, we'll be able to use it, but I don't, I don't know that we'll be able to get it back up this week. But we can ask

Elf: jt, do you know anything, know anything about that?

Dotta: Sorry, repeat that

Elf: for what? Do, do you know if like just the demo is playable like right now or anytime soon?

No,

Dotta: they took it off. They took it off. They took it off for sure. But I remember, I remember I was talking to you, but it should be easy to put back up and just not have a contest embedded into it or [00:37:00] something. So we can probably have discussions soon and try to get back

Elf: up. Gotcha. Okay, cool. Um, Margaret, are, are you able to, Laura Punk, are you able to talk?

Cult Member #2: Yeah, yeah. Hey, you always need to give me a few minutes cuz it takes a while to load the audio, so. Got it. Yeah, and that's just my phone being fun. Um, I'm really happy to wait in the queue because I just wanted to offer some. Cult content. And I have a couple of options for you. One of which is a poem about, uh, the Universe and the other one is a new song.

Um, but it's only 2238, so I'm happy to wait.

Elf: Oh, okay. Let's, yeah, let's do it at the end. I love going out with the Margaret song. Um, and I Oh,

Dotta: me too. And I think also Tad has some more, uh, I think Tad's reading more today. I could be wrong.

Cult Member: Yeah. Okay. Yeah. But I can of course, you know, just cue me in when, whenever, whenever.

I'm ready. Whenever you

Elf: guys are. Okay. Great. Okay. I [00:38:00] think R y F is up here to explain this, this burning nonsense. Explain yourself, yourself.

Dotta: Uh, actually on advice of legal counsel, I declined to explain

Cult Member: myself.

Dotta: That's the most thing I've ever heard of my life.

Elf: Um,

Dotta: I'm actually here on behalf of the counsel, uh, if I may have a moment to

Elf: speak.

Absolutely. Of course,

Cult Member: of course.

Dotta: So, um, as many of you probably remember a while back, the community, uh, voted to send 20 eth to the Ministry of Art, comprised of myself, Matto Chuck and Dota, uh, at least for the time being. And, uh, I'm pleased to announce that we're ready to kick that off. Um, what we're gonna do is we're gonna split the 20 eth in half, um, into two 10 ETH pieces.[00:39:00]

Um, we're gonna have a window for each of those. Um, each window will be three weeks long. Um, during that window, we're not gonna vote on anything that comes into us. Um, our logic is that, um, at this point we have no idea what kind of proposals we're gonna get. Um, and so we don't wanna, you know, Approve everything.

And then maybe at the end, once our budget is met, a great proposal comes in and we have to wait until, um, the whole co colt votes to send more funds to the ministry. Um, so we're gonna use these windows to just wait and see what comes to us during this period. Um, use it as an, a learning experience and adjust and pivot as needed for future windows.

Um, and get a feel for the scope and frequency of proposals that come within, you know, a three to four week, uh, period. [00:40:00] So, um, you guys can go on and start submitting proposals right now. If you, uh, have any, we have a link to a Google form on the Ministry of Art Notion page. And, uh, shortly we will be publishing the criteria we're gonna use to judge the proposals.

And as we start voting on them, we're gonna post, um, archives of how each of us votes, uh, to provide transparency. That's amazing. I heard nothing about an explanation about the burning.

Cult Member: I I plead the fifth.

Dotta: Yeah, that's fair enough. Uh, ard you from, I, I, you mentioned, um, did you mention, you mentioned a form, right? I'm sorry if I, if I missed that part, that we have the form created that we're gonna be pushing out for people to, um, fill Yep. The, the form is live as we speak. Awesome. Yep. But yeah, um, you know, hit us [00:41:00] up if you have any questions or feedback.

Yeah, and please do not be intimidated or anything to, to fill out the form. This is specifically to enrich the call with more content. Um, if there's something that you guys feel like you want to be made, like, you know, if there's any kind of illustrations or anything that you feel, um, you know, we more than encourage you, go ahead, please fill out the form and, you know, just try make your dreams come true or make our dreams come true too.

So, yes, that, that's what we're here for, to make dreams come true.

Elf: Damn right.

Cult Member: I'm trying my best to give him a good image right now.

Dotta: And with that, I think I'm out for the day.

Elf: Okay,

Dotta: bye Al Al. Check your dms by the way. Hi, water hot and hi water. Oh, hold on. Oh, sorry. Okay. Can you hear me? Yeah, I can hear you.

Hey. [00:42:00] Perfect. Hey, um, yeah, I saw, I, I just wanted to talk just so briefly about, uh, also I'm gonna butcher this cuz I don't know if it's French or Spanish or English, but the atelier atelier from Oz. Um, you shared my piece from it. Um, and I know he just opened up the second, uh,

Cult Member: I guess

Dotta: visit to the atelier.

Um, and if anyone is looking for like a cult piece, um, or any sort of art commission, I think I like, highly recommend it. It was like a very cool experience. Um, sort of, I, I won't say too much, but it was like a very kind of a, for me, a personal experience and I got to like really think deeply about the kind of art I wanted created.

And then it happened, just so happened that my wizard fit into that. Um, so if I, I. If you want to support a cult member, uh, obviously everyone [00:43:00] or I, I, yeah. I won't speak for everyone, but I think I can speak for everyone when I say we all love Oz. Um, and I think that this new thing that he is doing is really neat and I would encourage you to bid if you

Cult Member: can.

Awesome.

Elf: Yep. I I will confirm that we all love Oz for sure. Yeah,

Dotta: I mean, he's, he's the cover of the book of lore, so Yeah. Or a dad. Hello? Yeah.

Cult Member: We'll come

Dotta: back.

Cult Member: Hey. Hey. How's it going everyone? What's up? Hello.

Dotta: So happy to be here. First of all, big thanks to everybody who. Commissioned Art for my little bam bam.

Yesterday she was making art all day long,

Cult Member: loving her life. So she, the whole team. You wanna say hi? Okay. Hold, say sec.

Elf: Hey. Hi.[00:44:00]

Dotta: You're

Cult Member: on stage, everyone's Oh, thank you for your wizard

Dotta: artwork. Thank you. You're welcome. You're a great artist. You're very talented.

Cult Member: Oh, it's super fun.

Dotta: Um, so, uh, I just wanted to quickly say, uh, thank you so much to everyone who had a chance to sit down with me last week in New York. Get some just fireside conversations in.

These are gonna turn into this sort of mini series Tales for the Tavern. Um, and, uh, just sort of conversations with cult members from across the board about who they are and what they do. Uh, the very first one is an episode with Two Crows and it comes out in 14 minutes. Um, amazing. Amazing. So, so yeah, you can find that on Spotify or, uh, my Anchor Anchor fm.

Um, So I'll, I'll [00:45:00] drop that all in the secret tower and tweet it out and stuff once it's live there. And go ahead and check it out. Say hi. Um, me and Duke Gross had a great time. And then hopefully I can get my, uh, get me an ELs chat, uh, done up by next week. So that'll be, and this should be like a weekly, weekly on Wednesday afternoons kind of, kind of a thing is the dream.

So thanks so much. Yep. So yeah. So yeah, that's, um, meetups is the name of the, the, the overall show. And then this is Tales from the Tavern. It's gonna be the specific, uh, bits with us. Super fun. I feel like we, we are like starting to have an entire slate of shows and programming that we have Nothing that, like the cult is completely powering.

Yeah. Oh yeah. Somebody said there was, there's more on Mondays, there's uh, coffee Tuesdays, there's Wizard Wednesdays. Uh, and there's a, there's a Thursday and Friday show, but I don't know what they are. Somebody, somebody, yeah, I think I'm, you [00:46:00] can fill in, I think I'm gonna call like Comcast and see if they wanna give us our own cable channel.

Cult Member: Right. We've got, um,

Dotta: the Thursdays, I'll speak to the Thursdays. Thursdays at 11 Eastern. We're doing the lore shops. Those are the weekly writing workshops where, uh, starting this week I'm getting, um, authors and writers of various sorts up to join

Cult Member: us to share some, uh, you

Dotta: know, cuz cuz I've got like, I had like a solid three weeks worth of wisdom to share about writing, but I'm tapped out.

I

Cult Member: got nothing left. So I'm gonna get some real professionals

Dotta: up here to share from now on. It's gonna be a hoo. Amazing. So yeah, join us Thursday mornings

Cult Member: for that.

Elf: Thanks buddy. That sounds great.

Dotta: Yeah. Thank you. That's awesome. Hey, I wanted to know, do we know if realize is up here or is he, is he in the spaces?

Yeah. Realize if you're here, requests come up.

Cult Member #2: Can

Dotta: I also comment on the, uh,

Cult Member #2: warrior burning?

Elf: Absolutely.

Dotta: Isn't it? Wasn't it always inevitable that Warriors would die? I [00:47:00] mean,

Elf: isn't that the point? Yeah. I mean, we, visitors are immoral, but I'm not so sure about warriors. I, I mean, I, yeah, really don't know.

Dotta: I

Cult Member #2: think

Dotta: it's inevitable that a lot more are gonna die.

Elf: That's

Cult Member: that ominous.

Elf: I believe you. That was really ominous. It's just inevitable.

Dotta: Um, will you do so will you do me a favor and will you pin One of my favorite things I saw on, um, Twitter this week was you taking a picture of your Christie's auction piece at Times Square. I just want, I wanted everybody to see that I was really

Elf: happy.

Oh, well, I don't know if I can do it right, right now. I'll do it. I'll do it. Okay, cool. Um, But yeah, it is, it is pretty, it is a pretty handsome picture. I, I agree with you bear.

Dotta: Oh, I was talking about the art,

Elf: not your face. Oh, ok. You're, you're cute too though. You're, you're cute too. I, [00:48:00] I heard work of art and I immediately thought of my face.

Um,

speaking of work of art, there's been a lot of other really great cult content, um, uh, that, uh, dirty Wizard, r y f, um, he's, he's still working on this amazing looking comic, which we know nothing about. Um, but he shared a page, uh, an uncolored, it's black and white, uh, page. Um, it just looks incredible. I, uh, I can't wait to see this comic.

Um, You know, and this is just this, you know, this speaks to exactly what I was talking about earlier about how our community builds. Um, you know, we, at Magic Machine, we put out a comic, but R y F is like building an a, a whole comic by himself. I can't wait to see this thing. And, you know, if, if you're out there and you've got a comic idea, you know, propose it, the, uh, the Dow might fund it, um, you know, I would love to see an entire series of comics all created by [00:49:00] community members.

Um, you know, I don't think a comic is necessarily super expensive. Um, you know, it's something that just about anyone could probably do. So I, you know, I would love to see more of that. Um, okay. Hold on. Let's see if Tom is, can speak now.

Dotta: Well, and I love, yeah. I just love, I can't wait to see the manga, uh, that r y f is putting together.

I would buy a whole shelf of those.

Elf: Yeah, it's gorgeous. Tom, can you, can you talk? Yeah. Can

Dotta: y'all hear, hear me? Yeah, there. He's all right. So strap in, just, uh, real quick. Congrats to the team, uh, magic machine, all the other wizards. The party was phenomenal and, uh, it was a pleasure meeting you all in person.

And I can't tell you how many times I heard, wow, you're not an asshole. So, uh,

Cult Member: so I

Dotta: apologize to those people who, uh, who only see the asshole side of me. Anyways, real quick, uh, [00:50:00] night Owl Birdman, quick shout out. Launched a video, a amazing animation for the Dragon Balls. Uh, it's kind of a, in the universe with the moron.

Take, uh, a little gamified N F T thing we're working on. Um, you mentioned the fanny packs. Just wanted to give a shout out to Dragon Designer Jr. His handle is at Dragon Designer Jay. He's a phenomenal designer and leads up our fashion division. What we have pinned in the, uh, in the spaces. You'll see PVA is doing our, speaking of your comics.

He's got an M C P deal, which is, uh, kind Yes. A play on the SCP universe, which is a shared lore building thing. So that's gonna be fucking amazing. Uh, yep. And then our, our boy caster is working on that comic with him. Uh, mall's The Noodle Arms working on the website. Shout out to them. Uh, slim is having a baby soon, as always.

Bitches about never getting a shout out. So what's up slim? Uh, and then [00:51:00] look out for more colabs between us and other wizards. Uh, special shout outs to two crows. And thank you for having us on Maple. Dad, if I miss anyone, I love you. I'll stop taking up your time. Bye. Love Tom. It was so, love you Tom.

Wonderful to have. You and the other folks from Moron Capital at the party just brought such good vibes. Like you, crowd surfing was really one of my like, top moments of the night. Like agreed. I'm still grinning thinking about it and uh, and everyone from, yeah, from all affectionately the morons are just so wonderful.

Noodle Arms has the exact opposite of what you would think given his handle. His arms are as thick as my legs and they're just so friendly. It was just great to have you there.

Elf: Also, Tom, I, I never thought you were an asshole, so I, I was, I was not surprised that you were a nice guy in real life. No, not at all.

Dotta: I was actually kind of [00:52:00] disappointed that he

Elf: wasn't an asshole. He was like, too nice. Yeah.

Dotta: No, but what I'll say is everybody's talking about the fanny packs, Tom. So if you guys, if you guys wanna like, get like broader distribution, just like snap some picks and we'll put 'em up on the, on the new store that we're putting up later this week or beginning of next.

And we can just do a pass through whatever you want. But like everybody loves. Fanny packs

Cult Member: awesome. And we love the cult. Yep.

Elf: Awesome. Yeah, it it's a powerful combo. Moron Capital and Forgotten. Forgotten Ruins. I mean, are you kidding? Watch out. Yeah,

Dotta: we're like the adult swim sect, you know, like, yeah, yeah.

After 10:00 PM we can say whatever the hell we want, but, uh, for, for the PG stuff, don't invite us.

Elf: Um, but no, you mentioned another thing that I, that I want to give an appropriate shout out to, which is the, the PVA dot [00:53:00] comic, um, the, uh, magic Containment Paradox. Uh, this thing just looks fricking awesome. I can't wait to see more of that. Um, yes, such, such good cult content. Um, but, uh, yeah, it looks like we've got about five more minutes.

Uh, Tad and, uh, Margaret, you guys have, uh, lo Reed slash songs, correct? Yeah,

Cult Member: yeah. That's, uh, a pretty long drawn out, uh, story of, uh, ghost Eater Cobalt of the Rom. So, uh, it's gonna take me a minute to get through it here anyway. If, if we wanna do, we wanna transition over to lure time? Oh yeah.

Elf: Let's do it.

Dotta: Don't get us so excited. You just told us your story's too long.

Cult Member: No story's too long. I can't wait. It's not too long. It's just, uh, it's a fun story to tell. Uh, before, before I do get started, I wanna do one shameless plug. Um, I think you guys have probably seen several pieces come out recently from a group I'm, I'm [00:54:00] helping work with called The Real Pixel Shop.

Uh, yeah, we brought out a, a little good morning, uh, goalie Cobol this morning. We had, uh, Dane, who attacks the gate and releases the, the dinosaurs. And then, um, JP one 16 has a really cool one where his flame head, uh, is like walking through the, through the blizzard and then lights up his flame head. But, uh, we're working on a Beast commission for Blanco that I'm really excited about how it's going, but, um, really, really love just making all this cult content.

It's just so fun being involved in any part of it. So, uh, if there's anything that we can do for anyone else, feel free to reach out. We're actively, uh, collecting new pieces as we speak. Love

Dotta: it.

Cult Member: Thank you Tad. All right. And without further ado, let us lead into who is Ghost Eat cobal. So the lore of this cobalt was written, um, essentially from the perspective of person.

I just imagine kind of maybe a drunk at a bar sitting, looking next to the person next to him who's just talking about this magical magician that [00:55:00] seems to be so mythical that they can't even understand who he might be. So who is Ghost Eater Cobal? You ask Ghost Eater Cobalt of the Romme and his faithful scrans have had so many adventures.

The distinction that between myth, legend and reality has become very difficult to determine. There's so many slightly incomprehensible qualities to go Cedar that one could almost imagine some truth to the tales often recited, but surely they cannot all be true. There's disagreement even to the age in origins of the legendary cobol.

None seem to be able to recall a time without him wandering the Rno verse. The oldest stories recall a clever cobal with a heart so pure that one day while wandering after a butterfly near the carnival pass, he found he had somehow crossed over the border into the land of the Fay after navigating a landscape full of unknown dangers, skirmishes with the locals in a near roasting at the hands of the scorned love interest.

Ghost Eater is said to have been given safe haven [00:56:00] deep within the Faye, by none other than my friend, sorcerer Elias of the Faye. It was through Elias that ghost Eater learned. There were two others of the universe who had also searched for a way home, refreshed from his respite and strengthened by Elias.

Incredibly powerful blessing of the Purple Haze. Ghost eaters set off to track down those two fellow citizens of the universe. He finds two wizards whose minds are so encumbered with so much latent Faye magic. They can barely remember their ruins and incredibly, they have been trapped in the Faye for so long.

They have forgotten even their names. The layers of magic are so thick in their minds. The sad truth is confirmed that their names have been lost to their magical affliction and time They call one another. Only number sixty two fifty Cosmic Ma of the Brambles and number 69 54 Alchemist of the cosmos they share with ghost eat little of their adventures, only making absurd claims of having shared hundreds and hundreds of [00:57:00] campfires during their search for a path home.

The two are clearly not fully sane, but they do not appear aggressive or dangerous to ghost eater. They agree to together, find a way home, and the two seem willing to take any chance regardless of the risk. The presence of Ghost Eater and his continued protective aura of the purple Haze seemed to slowly dissolve the bonds over the minds of these two weary wizards.

Over the next week and months, ghost Eater grounded them to reality and reminded them of the ruins and what they all once knew of the universe. The nameless wizards repay the kindness by sharing several of the more easily mastered incantations and delusions They developed during their time traveling a landscape filled with magic, with a new sense of purpose and a growing trust.

The trio returned to Elias in search of finally finding a way home. As they approached his home, Elias was waiting on them and eager to shuffle them inside, much to do,

Dotta: much to plan. No time

Cult Member: to waste. It seems Elias was well aware of their hope of returning home [00:58:00] and had already considered several, several options for our travelers.

Unfortunately, of the options laid out by Elias that could provide a return to the universe, all seem to have slim chances of success with several of them ending in an untimely demise if unsuccessful. It was after hours of growing despair and discarded suggestions that the trio elect to seek out the power of an artifact held in the layer of the gorgons.

Elias was certain a hero had once fallen to their power and been petrified to stone, however, protected. Well in a magic bag of holding this hero held a key of the seventh realm.

On the way out, uh, Elias speaks and says to them, as elusive as the scent of the one day spring flowers, and perhaps as significant as the flush upon the cheek of a lover shunned, the timing for withdrawal and the search for Tru Secor is scan found wince, not exhaustively, and actively looked for upstairs.

He continued. That means you can leave [00:59:00] fairly well. What I'm saying, dear Cobalt, is you have to get out now. And so they left. The gorgons, of course, detected the group. Upon arrival, they were met with immediate blasts of magic and power, stronger than any of them had ever faced. Without the steadily glowing pulse of Elias Protective Purple Haze, the journey would've quickly ended with their quick deaths.

However, some distracting illusions and a bit of luck, the trio manages to escape and hide themselves in the rubble. A plan is quickly formed, use a potent potion of nightshade provided by the alchemist of the cosmos to taint the water jugs found within the the home of the gorgons. After an exhausting and hot afternoon of flinging magic at wary wizards, the gorgons were finally ready for a break and some refreshments.

Two of the three sisters take mighty gulps of the water. After searching in the hot sun for the well hidden wizards, in short moments, the belladonna alkaloids in the water begin to enlarge the pupils of the gorgons, resulting in extreme light sensitivity and a severe pounding migraine feeling disoriented and dizzy.

The [01:00:00] two stumble into their chambers to sleep off the mysterious affliction. The two older sisters continued to shriek their agony, tossing, and turning before finally demanding their youngest sister Medusa. Protect them while they enter a magical slumber to counter the magical potion. Po poison with the odds now three to one in the wizards favor, they spring into action.

A series of illusionary copies of the wizards confuse and annoy Medusa as she destroys them one by one. In the ensuing chaos, the real ghost eater manages to retrieve a glowing sword from a pile of discarded artifacts and position himself directly behind the dangerous Medusa. With one swipe of the sword, he cleanly decapitates the head with hair of writhing serpents and kicks it into a corner.

Exhausted, but apparently out of danger. The team searches the surrounding area and locates a statue matching Elias's description of the unfortunate holder of the key dangling from a belt turned stoned, there is a bag hanging and stark contrast to the filled of statues that serve as both grave marker and [01:01:00] final resting place.

The bag seems to be almost alive. Softer than velvet. A shade of violet so deep as to be almost black. The bag is tied closed with a cord of sparkling silver, sparkling golden threads reaching his hand inside the bag. Ghost eater finds a space much larger than expected, and soon as up to his elbow, his shoulder, and eventually summons some light and bravely sticks his head inside the bag.

Inside he finds a wonder. An entire vault lies within the confines of this bag, as though the dimensions themselves have somehow folded into this wondrous container Inside the vault, pulses with a soft light, and though mostly empty, it contains piles of gold and jewels in a mount far larger than ghost eater had ever imagined.

Placed on a podium in a place of honor, ghost eater finds the key to the seventh realm. Careful to wrap the key and cloth, ghost eater returns from the bag of holding and into the Faye. Finally having secured a way [01:02:00] home, the group quickly adds the head of Medusa to the treasures of the vault and make haste Before the poisoned gorgon's wake to the scrubber, the fate of their youngest sister amazed the adventurers have returned alive.

And with the key, Elias now reveals to our travelers the story of the holy arcane, he who commands a singularity and refracts it through a simple chroma crystal to birth the creation of limitless nothing. The holy arcane has the potential to create any number of realities from infinite threads, including one that would return them to their home.

Cosmic m, Elias and Alchemist, c. Ghost Eater grasped the key firmly in his right hand, flashes bright with light, becomes transparent and fades into nothing and in an instant, reappears in a burst of color. At least this is how it was observed within the realm of the Faye for Ghost eat, using the key to the seventh realm to travel among space time in the very [01:03:00] fabric of reality.

It seemed as though he traveled on and on and on until time itself, no longer had meaning. Finally ahead of the darkness was split with an incredible pure light and a prismatic burst of color. Far more beautiful than than anything a cobal had ever witnessed. Ghost eater begins to weep with the beauty and can feel, and he is in the presence of immense power, able to sense the truest self of all beings.

The holy arcane could see the goodness in ghost eat his quest and that holy arc canes blessed him that day. The purity of his cobalt heart and knowledge gained dear. His adventures through the faith were said to move even an ancient being of unfathomable power. After agreeing to aid the holy Aist and achieving his infinite goals with an unbreakable oath, ghost eater was given some powerful gifts to aid him on his journey.

The first gift was a familiar, so rarely seen today to be legend itself. A true friend, [01:04:00] companion and defender of good scraps joined forces forever with ghost eater, with a familiar soul bond. The second was the most splendidly covered garment, mortal eyes have ever seen. It is unknown what material makes up the suit, but rumors in the Faye are that the fabric is light itself bending into an infinite prism and protecting ghost eater on his journey.

As a third gift, he later discovered in his bag of infinite holding, the gruesome Medusa head had been desiccated and shrunken frozen into position, becoming a gruesome reminder of his journey through the Faye. He also happily noted the remainder of the treasure secure, and happily kept the bag tucked in a cord within his rainbow suit.

If you have doubts traveler, you need only look to the glyphs found in the toad stools that clearly depict the triumphant return of ghost eater wrapped in his rainbow and showing his battle prowess through defeat of the mighty Medusa, such as the presence of this intrepid traveler of the world, a continuously [01:05:00] shimmering and mesmer prismatic rainbow of fabric, or if the legend are be or if the legends are to be believed.

A rainbow itself softly pulsates in the presence of golde, ghost eater, reflective surfaces, sparkle and shine. Flowers stand taller, and even the sky itself has become to be more blue when held in his gaze. While there's much unknown, the one thing that can always be trusted is ghost eater. Cobalt will always show up in the time of greatest need, and he will stand as a light against darkness as long as he has the strength to continue.

Fear, not if you see a swirl of colors and lights on the horizon in your time of need. Hes,

Elf: that was one hell of an origin story for Ghost Eat Cobalt.

Cult Member: Amazing. I was really, I was so scared halfway through that, I'd just been rugged because anytime I get into any interesting conversation, I just ghost out.

So I'm so, I'm so happy we [01:06:00] got to get to the end of that story and I got to share so much of that with you all.

Elf: Yeah, no, it was great. I, I loved that you used, uh, wizard Zero in it. You, um, and you used, uh, sorcerer Reli of the Faye in it. Uh, I love that Grams was in it. Um, yeah, really well done. That wizard is, is really a special wizard.

I, I've been looking at it as you've been reading. It's, uh, it's pretty unique. He's,

Cult Member: he's, he's an extremely unique wizard, definitely one of my favorites, but his, his legendary status is, is growing on me. Just, just through his interactions with the col and the, the commissions I've be, been able to grab. I think I dropped a few of them in there.

But, uh, truly a, a, a beautiful and really fun character to explore and, uh, to be able to kind of get him out in the world is, has been just, just as joy.

Elf: That's great, man. Yeah. Well done. Scrims is my favorite. Familiar.

Cult Member: Oh, I love it. Uh, might, that might have been a, a bit of it for me. I mean, the cobalt has always been my favorite, the rain post suit, so incredibly [01:07:00] rare that when it came up it was, it was, I I had to have it, but the, the cramps was the seal.

Yeah. With all of that combined, it was like, oh, it's just too perfect. I mean, he is just such a, a, a lovable character. He just, he had to, he had to be mine.

Elf: That's great, man. Awesome. Um, well, yeah, thanks Tad. Um, Margaret.

Cult Member #2: Hi. Hi. How are you guys

Dotta: doing?

Elf: Good.

Dotta: How

Cult Member #2: are you doing? Good. I'm doing good. Um, so thanks, uh, very much.

I've got a new song. Uh, some of you may have heard it, but I just wanted to sing it on here. Me Wasier actually commissioned some lyrics for me, uh, that he put to a Kick ass metal song, but as I write lyrics, it turns out that I always get a melody with them. And that melody, um, you know, wasn't used for this, but it kind of warped and changed.

And I wrote a song to go with it, which is, you know, about somebody who Doesn't like me was Ear very much, you [01:08:00] know, I personally love Ear. I know. It's like impossible to consider, you know? Oh, whoa. Yeah, but hey, it's lore, man. You know, it's, you gotta have it, you gotta have some dramatic tension. So true. I just wanted to sing you folks this song.

Um, and, and, yeah. Here

Elf: we go. Okay. Mag was here. Clo close your

Cult Member: ears. Yeah. You know that ringing

Dotta: sometimes I can understand. Yeah.

Cult Member: Well, you

Cult Member #2: know, the first, the first words will get, will inform on that. Here we go. Okay. I never fancied the ringing of bells. Made me run off and hide whom I draw up alongside. I never fancied the ringing of bells.

All remembered in prayer. [01:09:00] Somehow they're lost to the air. Turn on signal reading, clear and strong. Everything I did so wrong. And I think that I knew you before. Throw long cricket by quiet palm. Somehow I will carry on with the scars that we all gained in war. Open out the empty rooms and cast out all the spiders.

If you wanna tag along, we'll set your vision higher. I'm at home in the dark and I'm wanting a spark to hold fast and [01:10:00] aside. Can't see who is there, but I'm lost in a prayer. Oh, nowhere left for me to hide. I didn't know that you had arrived.

Were you signaling code? Oh, well, I stand up to the Lord. Took on all who and survive. Did I give you a scare? Oh, I was just lost in a prayer. Oh, on. As the wheel is moving on, grasp it with a reckless song. Oh, I think that I knew you [01:11:00] before. Stay strong. Magic in the day. Everything I did so wrong, but you stand up and want a little more.

Open up the empty rooms and cast out all the spiders. If you wanna tag along, oh, set your vision higher. I'm at home in the dark and wanting a spark to hold fast and decide. Can't see who is that, but I'm lost in a prayer. Oh, nowhere left for me to hide. I can even remember my name.

Were [01:12:00] you lost as a child discovered in rhythm and why? Uh, you can even remember my name

and politeness to stay. I can't even see who is there. Open up the empty rooms and cast out all the spiders. If you wanna tag along or set your vision higher. I'm at home in the door, gonna, wanting aspire to hold fast and decide. Can't see who is that, but I'm lost in a prayer. No where left for me to hide.

Open up the empty [01:13:00] rooms and cast out all the spiders. If you wanna tab along, set your vision higher. I'm at home in the dark and I'm wanting a spark to hold fast and

can't see who is that, but I'm lost in a prayer. No love for me to hide. Thank you very much.

Dotta: Wow.

Cult Member #2: I response. Thank. Thank you. Love you guys. Congratulations on all the ass that you're kicking.

Elf: What wrap? That was so, so

Dotta: beautiful. So much. Beautiful.

Elf: Thank you. The only one who didn't like that was, was Woz. [01:14:00]

Dotta: I, I'm in trouble now. It's lyrically beautifully beautiful. You can even hear like cord substitutions and variance just in your se seeing one melody, uh, by yourself, but just incredible work.

Yeah.

Cult Member #2: Thank you. I wanna give a shout out to Spz SP Z because, uh, he and I have completed the first song about Chimera and we're just waiting for Ryan to get back on that and then that will drop. Uh, and Spz is just the most amazing composer and arranger, and it's been an honor to work with him on that.

And hopefully we'll be doing some more in future.

Dotta: What are those bells? Is that where you live? L Punk.

Cult Member: No, that's actually, no, those are bells They're signaling the from the quantum down. Yeah.

The,

Elf: the bells. Yeah, the bells are coming from the quantum downs. Um, [01:15:00] so that, that, that means Does anyone else have anything else to add? Oh, there's nothing you can add before off to add. There's nothing you can add. Awesome. Well this has been Elf and

Dotta: Doda

Elf: and Tad Bear, JT Mado, maple Dad, lo punk Matrix, channeling out from the quantum downs, G and everybody you.
