Blue Wizard Bastion is located in the central region of the known Runiverse. Blue Wizard Bastion lies between Dream Master Lake and the Fey, and is lies south of Cuckoo Land and the Psychic Leap.
The Stronghold of Intellect, the site of the greatest libraries in the Runiverse. Blue Wizard Bastion was once a fortified outpost for an ancient army, hence it's moniker, "Bastion." But those days of battle are long gone, and its transformation into a place of academia and learning have radically transformed the purpose of this fortress. The Bastion now enjoys days of quite learning, philosophizing, and deep experimentation into all areas of science. The Blue Hat cultures thrives here, the perfect balance between Magic and Science. It is ironically, adjacent to and area in the Runiverse that overflows with pure Magic, the Valley of the Gnostics. It is this proximity to such a vortex of magic that the Blue Wizards are able to push their scientific inquiry further. Envoys from the Purple Wizard Pavillion are frequent guests to the Bastion, for their magical inquiries draw them to the Valley. The cafes surrounding the Bastion are open all night, and lively debate between Blue and Purple philosophies are heard deep into the night, often to the bottom of bottles of absinthe and ale.
