Thw White Lady Song: [00:00:00] First you hear.[00:01:00]

I.

My control

to bring shame to take, but.[00:02:00] [00:03:00]

Elf: Is Wednesday. We are wizards and warriors and it's time for our weekly cult meeting. Wizard Wednesday. This is Elf and Donna and Logne. Did you just log in? I

Lachness: sure did. Lochness is logged in.

Elf: Lochness is in the quantum downs, everybody. Um, okay. Right off the [00:04:00] bat. I just have to acknowledge that. Uh, musical track.

I was just playing. Um, freaking wow. Uh, yeah, that is the, uh, the hot new single, uh, the White Lady by MJ Noble. It, uh, appear, it appears to be a track by, um, or about, uh, uh, the White Lady Soul, which is owned by Bam Baam. Um, and then the video was made by, um, ma Friends and, uh, O X Cosmo. Um, I hope I credited everybody properly on that.

Um, but wow. Uh, that just came outta nowhere all of a sudden today, and I am just really impressed. The lyrics are amazing. The video's amazing. It's a great song. Um, that's, that is a prime example of cult content. It's beautiful. It's

Dotta: like, it gives me like Bjork vibes, but [00:05:00] it has like, sort of like a postmodern music theory.

It's just

Elf: gorgeous. Yep, yep. Yeah. I love it. I love it. Um, and then, you know, speaking of bam, bam, uh, I think, uh, we need to, we need to congratulate Bam bam for another huge accom accomplishment, which is, uh, from what I understand, she has finished reading the entire book of lore.

Dotta: It's been so fun. I've been listening in this week when I get a chance and it's just like so peaceful and relaxing.

And also like, you know, it's, it's so different when you hear someone else read it to you than when you have to, when you sit and read it yourself, you know? Yeah. I think I'm able to like, process the stories a lot more. Internalize it, really understand it. Cause I'm not like skimming. I'm just listening to bam bam.

Take your time, walk line by line. And I just, I just love it so much. Hi. Bam. Bam. Hey.

Elf: Hey,

Thw White Lady Song: how's

Cult Member #2: it going? Thanks everybody. [00:06:00] Thanks for, thanks for acknowledging this song. Um, Minnie, MJ Noble is actually on here as well. She's a wizard. Um, and, uh, yeah, we made this song several months ago. Um, and uh, you know, I'm always like really nervous about Laura, even though I read it all the time.

And, uh, but she wrote all the lyrics, like she performed it, she wrote it, she produced it, recorded it, and mixed it. Um, I think you guys will hear more from her soon because, uh, I know that she's also part of the proposal that o put forward providing some music for that. Um, and I know she's potentially working on something with, uh, the farmer, our beloved retired yield farmer.

So more, more there. But she's super deserving and the fact that you guys are saying it resembles Bjork is like, that is the highest compliment I could ever [00:07:00] want because that York is definitely like my top five desert island. Pick for sure. Um, but yeah, um, Minnie has a album that just came out as well.

She, she is actually the one that introduced me to like, making my own costume. We would perform at like renaissance fairs and do all this, like, nerdy shit together. So, um, I have so much to thank her for. And, um, yeah, she has a new album out. She does like, sort of like fairy db that's like really feminist.

I think it kind of would, uh, uh, I think a lot of cult members would like that as well. But yeah, super stoked on White Lady. She is not a vengeful white lady who wants to, you know, kill the, kill the girlfriends of the men that cheated on her with or anything like that. She wants to help you get revenge on whoever fucked up your life.

Um,

Elf: so

Cult Member #2: hopefully, um, I do have dreams of. [00:08:00] Potentially making a full album for the souls. Um, I think that the souls are so important, but not getting the credit that they truly deserve to the rest of the world yet. And I think if I could get with a few more of the ultra rare souls or very special souls, I would love to talk about putting forth a proposal for the Dow to, you know, work with many different artists and create a whole album.

So

Elf: yeah. That's an awesome idea.

Bearsnake: Yeah, I love that idea. Hit me up. Bam. Bam. Let's talk about that. I, I really, we've been talking to a bunch of people in the music space. Um, I'd love to help, help with that any way we can. Yeah, that sounds

Cult Member #2: great. Thank you

Elf: guys. Thank you. And thank you for the book of law accomplishment.

And, um, you should dm, uh, mag was zero, the one who rings. He, uh, he, he has something that, that I think you should see. I'm, I'm just gonna leave it at that. Oh, well, I don't

Dotta: mind. [00:09:00] Yeah. Sharing. I heard a rumor that the one who rings got access to, uh, Dolly the, uh, AI art generation software. And really there's no one on earth who I wish had access to that more.

So, uh, we have the full power

Elf: of open ai now behind us in the hands of the one who rings, we cannot be stopped. Oh, okay. I'll just say, I told him to prompt it with, uh, something like, bam, bam, reading the book of Lord to a bunch of children or something. So, but I'll let him show you what he, what he came up with or what that dolly did.

I can share.

Dotta: Mag was here. If you share it in a tweet, I'll share it in this space.

Elf: Yeah, it's, it's really cool.

Cult Member #2: Oh yeah. And I'm gonna keep reading Laura guys. I mean, it's like, it's like I'm at like almost 8,400. It's gonna be a real crazy effort to like get it done. And I'm giving me the deadline of before the party.

So, let's see. Let's see how far we get to 10,000.

Elf: Amazing. [00:10:00] Amazing. Um, cool. Well, yeah, uh, we've got so many other things to talk about today. Um, man, just a lot. There's so much great, uh, cult content. We wanna give you party updates. Uh, I want to talk about like, all the cool shit that Bears Snake has been doing.

Um, there's a, a lot of updates from the Bear Cave on the beach big time. Um, and then, uh, I think, uh, Ryan Zer wants to come up and, and talk about a few things. Um, so yeah, uh, where should we start? Let's, um, let's maybe start with, Ryan's here. Ryan's here.

Dotta: So we wanna come up on stage and talk about maps and, um, we can talk about, uh, so we talked about B Zero last, last week.

You know, I don't know if everyone was here, um, but you shared an image that was just stunning. Um, you know, it's really my favorite out of all of the Maps, auction artworks. Um, maybe do you wanna just give a brief, like a little bit shorter [00:11:00] intro to the idea of V zero and then we can let Ryan talk about maps

Elf: a bit.

Are, are you asking me to talk about Beast Zero real quick? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, just, uh, if you weren't here last week, beast Zero. It's, um, I mean, it's literally the, the, the Zero Beast. It's a, uh, quantum or Boros. Um, it's, uh, it's just, it's a beast that sort of exists outside of space and time, um, just on a totally different plane, which, uh, I think was quite fitting for this auction because maps is all about psychedelics.

Um, and, uh, frankly, when you take psychedelics, you sort of exist outside of space and time yourself. So, um, that's, that's the short version of what I said last week. But, uh, Ryan, go ahead.

Cult Member #3: Thanks for having me on, uh, first of all. And so, uh, I guess I'll just walk through sort of the why, uh, of this, um, So I have been helping maps now for about a year.

Um, for [00:12:00] those of you who don't know, uh, MAPS is the multidisciplinary association of psychedelic science. Uh, they're the largest or the longest standing, and by far most important organization of any kind in the emerging psychedelic therapy space. Um, I am very strongly of the belief that mental health is the largest problem that mankind faces today.

Um, I say that having spent a decade working on climate change and, and clean tech, uh, and I can safely say that climate change and clean tech is technologically solved. It's just going to take a few decades to implement the, the infrastructure. But mental health, um, you know, pre pandemic affected one in five people globally.

Um, and, uh, four and five people would have some kind of, of, of. Affect it within their family globally. So this is a massive, massive problem that literally affects billions of [00:13:00] people I know no family, um, throughout the pandemic who escaped, um, the mental health pandemic that we've unleashed onto our society.

Uh, even though I know lots of families that you know, that didn't get covid. Um, and MAPS really is the leading organization in, uh, taking a novel approach to, uh, combating mental health. They have walked an incredibly stoic path over the course of 36 years to bring M D M A therapy. Uh, To where it is today and the cusp of getting, uh, phase three approval.

Uh, so for those of you in continental North America, well actually just in North America generally, um, next year at this time, you'll be able to per, or people will be able to procure, uh, M D M A therapies for, uh, starting with P T D, but then very quickly after, um, depression, uh, anxiety, um, major depressive disorder and even [00:14:00] anorexia, which I think is really interesting.

It's the only known therapy, um, for anorexia. And so, um, this is, uh, this is incredibly important. Why? Because. We've never seen a novel pharmaceuticals category be led by a nonprofit. And what this is going to mean for maps to be able to set a commercial and cultural bar for access instead of pricing for pharma margins will, will literally have a major impact on, on, on many people around the world.

This will literally be lifesaving for, um, for thousands and probably eventually millions over time. So, um, you know, they could have taken the easy money many, many times over the last 35 years, and they didn't. They keep, continue to walk this path and, and bring these therapies to the world, um, led by a nonprofit.

Uh, I think that having this social experiment be led [00:15:00] by a nonprofit is, um, Is really inspiring. And so this, this is something that is, is deeply, personally meaningful to me and, and I think just very important for the world generally. And so, uh, I reached out to, I've been helping them raise money that's obviously been good, going well, but, but still challenging in this environment.

And I reached out to, uh, you know, a lot of the leading artists in the NFT space and asked them if they would be willing to, to contribute to, um, You know, to this auction with Christie's, you know, it's be Bull Rafika, al Mad Dog, Jones IX Shells List goes on and on. David Cho, who is the graffiti artist that did the Facebook Wall, is doing his first piece in a decade.

Casey Rays, who is the grandfather of, uh, of algorithmic, uh, and programmatic art, uh, is doing his first piece in 20 years. Um, so it's a really, really remarkable lineup. [00:16:00] Um, I've had numerous curators here at, uh, at Art Basel this week confirm that, uh, they have never seen such a star studded, uh, Lineup of, of digital artists and our very own elf, um, gets it, you know, should be counted in, in that because I think everybody on this call, uh, is certainly aligned that, that he's, he's also one of the top digital artists, um, in the space and, and deserves recognition.

And so I don't, you know, part of me was sort of thinking like, I don't myself would, you know, gain anything specific from, from, uh, from this. But, um, I always like to kind of bring my friends along and include my friends and, and, and the projects that I do. And so I thought, well, why not? Why not get a chance to, uh, get a wizard sold at Christie's?

Right? I think that this is, um, gonna be an important moment for our community. [00:17:00] Um, it's a great way to, uh, to increase the exposure of, of just how, how different this community is. Um, And how great the art is, uh, on top of it. You know, I don't, I think we, we do spend a decent amount of time talking about how great the art that, that Elfa and the team have made.

But, um, but this is a chance for the traditional art world to, to take note and recognize, um, you know, how, how unique and, uh, and creative the, the art that, that this team has, has produced is. And so I wanted to include it. Um, that was important for me. And it's the only, uh, Sort of metaverse project that is involved.

Everything else is fine art, uh, on, on the digital side. Uh, and so I didn't wanna have it, you know, in like beside a punk and an a and a bunch of other things. Um, so it's just wizards and I think that's, that's sort of [00:18:00] cuts to, to the personal touch that I've, I've implemented as the curator of this auction.

And, uh, and so we are very excited. Um, I think, uh, you know, the art that is going to be auctioned is, is, is really remarkable. And, and, and artists have stepped up with some really amazing pieces and. I was surprised at first with how many artists that came, came forward and, and offered such great pieces, especially, you know, because a lot of these artists sell these pieces for, you know, upwards into millions of dollars.

But in the end, it makes sense because so many art artists have had their artistic journey informed by their psychedelic journey. There's such a crossover between, um, you know, between psychedelics and crypto. The Venn diagram has, you know, massive overlap. And so we see how much our, our two communities, uh, wanna support each other.

And I think that this is a, is a really sort of symbiotic way for, um, for crypto to [00:19:00] support psychedelics. And I think the psychedelics community will. We'll never forget it and we'll, you know, we'll, we'll gain, um, we'll gain a whole new cohort of, of people that are, are turning on to, to, to crypto broadly and, and Metaverse gaming more specifically and, and even more directly, uh, to Wizards, which is, is kind of the, the thing that I get in the end for doing all this work.

Um, so, uh, I'm very excited. We'll, you know, we'll be actively bidding, um, on it, but we hope that a lot of the community members here, um, also step up. Uh, and, and it's the last opportunity, I think, and the, the, uh, foreseeable future to, to get a beast. Um, and I think it's certainly the, the most interesting, creative, special beast that we've seen.

And so, so, um, uh, I'm excited to see where this goes. And, you know, the, the money goes to a cause [00:20:00] that, um, is. Doing as much or more for the world as any other cause on the planet. Uh, so we, we, we, you know, we're, we're, uh, we're grateful for everyone's support.

Bearsnake: Thanks, Ryan. Thank you. Really

Elf: appreciate it. Yeah.

Yeah. We're, we're really honored to be a part of it. Um, and I, I thought it was a good fit with, uh, what the ari in this project is all about. Um, so yeah. Thank you so much. And I don't

Dotta: know if you're following the Discord, but you're getting a lot of support from folks, uh, in the Discord as well. Everyone is, you know, saying, you know, I'm in love with everything Ryan is saying right now.

This is so good. So happy to see the cult being a champion for mental health. So yeah. Thank you.

Bearsnake: Awesome. And I, and Ryan, I think you introduced me to Rick, the founder when, uh, I was on a trip and I sat with him and I had to say I was blown away, um, by his experience, his intelligence, like this, like for everyone on, on the spaces, this guy's been doing [00:21:00] this for since he was a te like he's been like going down this path since he was a teenager.

And it's just really, it's one of the most impressive people that I've ever met. Really cool guy. His

Cult Member #3: story is really, you know, it just gives me goosebumps. Um, yeah. So he started out wanting to be a psychedelic. Psychotherapist and it's something that he's been helping people through. And, and he's been an underground psychedelic psychotherapist.

Uh, and he just wanted to do it legally and above board and professionally and. And so he sat out on the path to just like fix this. And he sort of naively did it, um, in the, in the eighties thinking that he'd get it done in sort of like five, five or six or seven years and then be able to go back to being a psychedelic psychotherapist.

And here's the craziest thing. He's walked this path and built this organization over 36 years, and then when M D M A therapy turns live next [00:22:00] year, he's going to step out of maps and become the psychedelic psychotherapist that he always wanted to become. Which is just, I mean, it's amazing, right? Um, and, uh, truly a unique person, um, a, a really enigmatic figure, uh, that, uh, um, that, that we're, we're excited to now have as part of our community.

Um, and, and so I think, I think this will not be the end of the road between. The Wizards and Maps, and I think that's positive for Wizards. It's positive for maps, and most importantly, it's positive for the world.

Elf: Love it. Cheers to that. Very cool. Very cool. Yeah, I love it. Um, thanks so much, Ryan. Uh, yeah, there's, thank

Cult Member #3: you guys for stepping up.

You know, it, it, it really was amazing how, how you [00:23:00] guys have stepped up and, uh, and put this together on such a tight timeline. Um, we are, we are eternally grateful. Um,

Elf: very true. Yeah.

Dotta: And the Beast. And the Beast for, uh, the maps Auction is part of the same Beast contract as, uh, the other Seven Beasts. So it's Beast Zero in that collection of the same contract, and it will be part of kind of the same benefits, you know, utility lore, uh, Uh, as, as all of the other beasts.

So yeah. So participation in, in whoever ends up winning this beast is, is, is as a full beast with the rest of the beast Masters.

Cult Member #3: Yep.

Elf: Definitely.

Thw White Lady Song: Yep.

Bearsnake: Plus the art is sick. Yeah.

Dotta: Plus the art is sick. It's the only

Elf: animated beast. Yeah. Yep. Um, cool. Well, uh, let's see. Should we talk about, um, party stuff? In, in, uh, it's, it's freaking next week.[00:24:00]

Everyone should come.

Dotta: If you are listening, come to the party. It's gonna be so

Elf: fun. Yeah. We, we only, we only have 1400 people signed up and, uh, I'm gonna be there.

Lachness: That's double our capacity.

Thw White Lady Song: Yeah.

Elf: Um, but, but yeah, I mean, I, yeah. I would love if, uh, bears, Nick and Lochness, you guys could, um, just give us, give us more details.

I know there's a lot of questions around, um, I, I, I'm gonna take it off with a question. Um, are the drinks free?

Lachness: Of course. Okay. Three is our favorite F word. Well, second favorite Forgotten is our

Bearsnake: first. Yeah. For is our first, I would say. Free going on at the party if you catch my drift. Uh, so yeah, but la you take the point because I know that you and I have been spearheading this, a lot of other team members have been involved.

Um, it's, you know, I don't know if, if anyone on the call's been [00:25:00] involved in like, planning big events, but you know, it just really takes, it takes a big effort from a big team and the, you know, the attention to detail is, is where it all sort of lives or dies. And so, uh, yeah. Lock you take it away, please.

Lachness: Sure, sure. Uh, yeah, so we've been working day in and day out to fine tune this experience. Super grateful to have such a wonderful team to help us bring it to life. And, um, never thought in a million years I'd be shopping for genus Chad's face in collaboration with an amazing special effects makeup artist that we just brought on board to bring that to life.

So I'll share a few things you can expect. First things first, if you see a pony, you're at the right spot. That's

Elf: first things. Oh, okay. Straight up. I, I, I have to interrupt right now. Yeah. [00:26:00] We, we actually have a pony and it's. It's not just any pony, it's literally a pony from the collection. Like somebody owns this pony.

Lachness: Yep. Uh, I'm really sad this person won't make it to N F T nyc, but we won't spoil the surprise until the day of so that they can see the visual. Cause it's gonna be amazing. Okay. Okay. Yeah, go ahead and no ponies will be harmed in the making of this experience. Just wanna put that out there. We love animals and we're not gonna sit here and do anything weird.

Um,

Elf: I, yeah, I'm a huge animal lover. I mean, animals are in the collection as failure, familiars and companions, so that was one of my top priorities to make sure the ponies is happy. So, right.

Lachness: Yeah. So if you see a pony post, a pony, um, uh, and yeah. So a few, few things to expect. Uh, it is 21 plus we will be having wristbands at the door.

You won't have to confirm that you're a token holder at the door. However, our [00:27:00] merch is token G as we announced in the announcement a while back in the Discord channel, you can sign up for a ticket to, uh, redeem your merch at the party. We'll have more details to come, uh, the day of, but essentially we wanna be able to offer you all of our new merge, which is more than just clothing.

There's so much stuff that's going in there, um, stickers, posters, what have you. And we also wanted to make sure that the folks who couldn't come through had a chance to also have a little bit of this experience. And so you can also sign up for a digital merch pass where you'll be able to redeem a free merch box online.

Um, I say box, but that doesn't mean that it's like an inclusive sort of box type of situation. You'll be able to pick the styles you'd like to be shipped to you and the size and what have you. Now back to the I R L experience, which I'm super, super excited about. Folks will trip [00:28:00] through the Toad stool forest.

You'll experience the secret tower i r l. There's some activity there that we will not reveal, but some wizards may discover, um, some interactive elements. We will have both an armory bar and a potion bar where you can drink cobalt Kool-aid, enchanted gobbling juice, or the absence of the seventh realm.

Uh, drink responsibly please. We'll also have some munchies. Uh, you can munch on Corvets Crunch or Cobalt Smash. Uh, and a couple other things that will be throughout the party. Um, wanna make sure that you guys have some little nibbles before our ritual and post ritual, uh, munchies. The, the ritual itself, what into it?

It starts at 10 and 10 on the nose. You won't hear a bell ringing [00:29:00] Donuts,

Bearsnake: don't ruin, don't, don't, don't ruin

Thw White Lady Song: everything. I'm, I'm

Lachness: not gonna ruin everything. I just want people to be prepared. Uh, donuts will be passed out. This is your formal warning that if you bite the donut before you are instructed to do so, you will be cast away.

You'll be

Thw White Lady Song: cursed forever

Lachness: into the curse lands.

Elf: Your will be burned.

Lachness: Um, yeah. And so, uh, right after the ritual is when genus, the ritual is essentially to bring out and summon the beast, genus Chad, which will be played by Oliver Tre. Um, he'll play an amazing set, super stoked about that. We've also locked in an amazing dj.

Um, I would just say pay attention to his hair. And then also for the folks who are just roaming around throughout the week in New York City, we [00:30:00] did put out a N F T NYC Guide, which is a Google Maps link. It is in our announcements, and I will also share another tweet with it. But I highly, highly suggest you bookmark this as there will be little trickster heads that pop up on this map that may lead you to some, I don't know, mysterious boxes placed around the city.

So, super, super excited to just bring all of this like fun mystery and, uh, like delightful mystery as Dota would say, uh, to life at in New York. And. Let's, let's party.

Elf: Look, this sounds amazing. Some of this stuff you said I didn't even know about. Um, oh, can, can you, uh, talk about the, the comic book thing?

Which, which by the way, oh yeah. Holy crap. Did you guys see we printed physical comics. Did you see that? Oh man. Did you pee? It looks so good.

Dotta: I can't wait to get a big stack of 'em [00:31:00] and hand

Elf: them out to everybody. Yeah, me and

Bearsnake: me and Nalgene got a box shipped to the office yesterday and we literally poured 'em on the table and like rolled around at them.

Lachness: I know two crows is cringing because the corners have been bent. Yeah,

Elf: sorry. Too gross. But you, you can get a comic at the party, right?

Lachness: So yes, out the week, if you don't get one at the party, there will be wizards mysteriously placed throughout the city. Um, cloaked, um, armed with statues, filled with comics, and very witty one-liners.

Passing them out through the city. We will be crashing a few parties, um, of a few popular projects. So if you're going to any other parties throughout the week, you might spot a wizard. Um, but yes, there will be accompanying our pony. There will be a wizard who will be handing out comics, um, earlier in the day.

So just keep an eye out. [00:32:00] And of course, we'll be live tweeting, letting you guys know where these wizards are. Um, if you just wanna run up to someone and, and grab a comic.

Elf: Um, speaking of the comic, if, uh, if you're not able to attend the party, um, then I think like after, after the whole party, we'll we'll figure out a way to send you a free comic if, if you want it.

So that's not your only chance to get a comic.

Bearsnake: We, yeah, we we're gonna, we're gonna sort that out. And I think even like for the people who don't come and want merch and all that stuff, um, we'll put in, we'll make sure to put in comics, uh, as, as an extra, um, for sure. And, and just so we're, just so we're clear.

We are, we're definitely giving them, we're, we're, we're sorting out the details, but like, there's free merch. Like you don't have to pay for all the merch. We're trying to figure out, there's a lot of like different skews, a lot of different items. Um, but there's definitely free merch to be had, uh, of your choosing.

So we're [00:33:00] excited to, it's just like, it's like one of the things, this whole entire thing, honestly, actually I have a little, a little spiel. Um, please. Like a lot of, you know, I think we're all, we're all very aware of like, what's going on in like the general crypto market, in the general economy. And, um, I just, you know, a lot of, like, I've heard from a lot of people, a lot of other projects that they scale back their parties or they decided not to do it.

And, and I think for us, this whole thing is about, I don't, I don't think there could be a more important time to move forward and celebrate what we're building, what the broader community's building than right now. I think, you know, seeing people in real life being like transitioning some of these friendships that have been made that people hold so close to their heart and meeting people in person, I think this is like totally necessary for web three and certainly the wizards, um, to move [00:34:00] forward.

I think, I think we all need to be able to give some hugs. Um, and, and so we're, we're just really proud to be doing this at this moment in time. Cause you know, it, it's, it's, it's really important. So this, this whole party, this whole NFT NYC. Giving merch away, um, the comic books away for free. This is like, this is us saying thank you to everybody on the spaces.

It's saying thank you to everybody who's ever participated in the Cult. It's saying thank you to who everybody who's participating in the world of Web three. And we, it, it, this is what we're all about and we're just, we're, we're really happy that we're able, we're in a position to even do this. So, uh, so just thank you from us to everybody.

Elf: Totally agree.

Dotta: Yep. It's gonna be so fun. It's gonna be so fun to meet everyone face to face and, um, you know, and I think we're, have protocol around like, and just, you know, conventions around protecting [00:35:00] people's privacy. Right. If you don't want your face to be on social, yeah. You should be able to easily tell everyone.

You don't want that, you know, because it's not about, you know, none of us want our faces plastered all over social, but we still, you know, trust each other and

Cult Member #3: want to get together and meet each other and shake hands and

Dotta: hug and dance.

Lachness: Right. There's an element of respect that we wanna just definitely upkeep in.

Uh, there will be, um, photographers and videographers capturing everything, and we'll have like a little note for the folks who, um, you know, would like to stray away from being doxed or having their photo taken so that the photographers and the videographers on set Yeah. Are aware of

Bearsnake: that. Like me,

Elf: you know, like Yeah.

Specifically,

Lachness: like I wanna be on that list. Yeah. And

Cult Member: especially for

Dotta: Dota, and I know there's a lot of other people who do too, but I don't mind being seen by the people here. You know, I think that's one of even the points of Wizard Wednesday is just like being known and, and knowing everyone in the cult.

So it's gonna be so fun to do that in real life. [00:36:00]

Elf: So come, it's gonna be super fun.

Bearsnake: Oh, we also, wait, wait. We also have another party that we're throwing, uh, on our boat. I think you already talked about this a lot, but like, maybe just real quick, just run through those details. I know it's Thursday

Lachness: night, right?

Yes. So Thursday night we are also hosting a Tashima yacht party with Worldwide Web three and Nifty League. Super excited to bring this experience to you guys. Um, and with Tropics Music as well. We will be meeting at the Sky, sky Harbor, Harbor Mar, or Sky Point Harbor Marina, um, at six. If you won the raffle and confirmed, you will receive a link to come to sign up and register for your ticket.

If you have not please, DM myself or now Jean via Discord and we'll see what we can do in terms of getting you a [00:37:00] ticket. We definitely wanna make sure that um, we have some fun cult members on board. There will be cobal, not this boring ma macaroons. Um, and um, pizza pies. So super stoked. You guys will get a really great, um, view of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge and it should be a really, really fun time.

It'll be back or um, be traveling between 6 45 and nine, so you guys will be able to make it to the 10 K TF party. For the folks who have been asking, um, about hopping over to Brooklyn to join 10 K TF folks, cuz I know we have a lot of wizards who are fans of that project as well.

Elf: Yeah. And then there's, uh, there's actually one more element, um, the, uh, the universe game that, uh, we've been working on with our partners at by Sonic. [00:38:00] There will be a, uh, playable demo. Uh oh yeah. The game. Yeah.

Cult Member: There's so much, there's

Lachness: so many bells and whistles. Literal bells,

Elf: exactly. So it's, yeah. So

Bearsnake: speaking of the game, oh, go ahead.

No, no, no. Go ahead Donna. Go ahead Donna. Well, just speaking

Dotta: of the game, um, you know, we dropped this past week, um, like basically a whole info page talking about the game, talking about the, the, the game loops, um, the dynamics of, um, battling with one another and, uh, going on quests and collecting items. And so there's a whole website, uh, where you can read up a little bit more about the details and the main game loops.

So yeah, check that out.

Elf: Yep. Yeah. In fact, uh, me and Jitsi and Woz and a few and Cosmo, I, um, and I feel like maybe a few other people, we, we played a, uh, a, a beta, I guess you'd call it, um, [00:39:00] just demo version of the game, uh, yesterday. Um, and it was great. It's, uh, it's, it's really coming along the world is just freaking huge.

There's, um, there's, uh, there's a lot of art in the game. Like, like every, like every biome just feels very different. Um, so yeah, it's coming along really nicely. Um, yeah, the game, the

Dotta: game world is really big. It's, um, I think they said something like 180 kilometers. Um, it would take you an hour to walk from one side to the other.

Um, it's, it's big in terms of MMOs, it's, um, com it's on the large side, and, uh, and it's not just, um, You know, these repeatable biomes that all sort of look the same. Each area has its own look and feel. There's landmarks within each area. Um, you know, you can see some of those, um, on the landing page, they released a few new screenshots.

Um, they're, they're, uh, well, uh, JDO [00:40:00] talked about this when he was here. You know, they're uprising, all the wizards. They're creating, you know, emotes and animations for all the different types of equipment. Uh, yeah, it's, it's a huge, huge world and a really involved game, and,

and

Bearsnake: it's gonna be a lot of fun to play.

Yeah. I, I feel like they, you know, we, they dropped that website and it kind of like went un a little bit unnoticed. I mean, I don't think it went unnoticed to anyone on this call, but it's interesting. I mean, we, we have, we're not trying to be super stealth about it, but, um, as far as V1 is, You know, it won't have all of the, all the bells and the whistles.

There's no like PVP and there's like Easter egg hunts and things to do to explore. And you can chat with other wizards. You can drop in as your wizard. Um, you can drop in if you don't have a wizard. Uh, but like, I think we're gonna be spending a lot of time making sure that we like, unpack all the information that's been, um, [00:41:00] put into the site.

And there's a lot, right, like a first glance, you sort of scroll to the bottom and you're like, okay. But the reality is, is like if you click around, there's a ton of information. And in a world where a lot of these sort of unchained games or you know, kind of, um, shallow, uh, I think there's a lot of depth there for people to get into.

So we promise we'll make sure to unpack this stuff and make sure everybody understands what we're actually Yeah. And

Dotta: the crafting is, is really rich, right? There's gonna be mining and forging and singing and weaving and glass blowing and like all sorts of activities that you

Cult Member #3: can do it from the game and.

Dotta: Yeah, it didn't real, it didn't really hit crypto Twitter or Twitter very hard this week. I mean, it was a big week, right? There was a lot going on. So

Elf: that is how it's, um, yeah. This is actually a pretty good segue into, into one other thing I wanted to touch on today. Um, so, you know, we, we, we've talked about like all the different paths that Forgotten Ruins wants to take.

Um, you know, the N F T path is obviously a [00:42:00] big one. Um, but now that sort of the N F T market and the crypto market and just all the markets are in sort of a bare, a bearish phase right now. Um, you know, how does Forgotten Ruins respond to that? And what we have been saying for months is, uh, we are going to bear market proof ourselves by pursuing what we call the franchise path.

Um, and, uh, You know, we, we've always said that Forgotten Rou is more than an N F T project. It's, uh, it's a global brand akin to the Lord of the Ring, star Wars or Game of Thrones. Um, and, and honestly, like Bear Snake has just been making some insane moves on this front in the last, like, that's crazy. Week or week or so.

So I've got a lot to say about it, but, but Bear Snake, if you want to interject at any time, please do. Um, but like, you know, so, so there's like, like three sort of main buckets that he's been [00:43:00] hitting. Um, and so like one is like, we've been talking to these really, really legit like brand licensers, um, And these, these are just people who like, like, like they know how to get your stuff on, like a lunchbox and a t-shirt and a cho and a toy and like general merch.

Um, and so like, so like, yeah. I mean, bear's been like finding just some like really, really legit partners as far as that goes. Um,

Bearsnake: well let me, let me just chime in real fast. Yeah, please. Go ahead. I think, I think part of it, part of it is like, you know, figuring out the manufacturing of it, right? And, and I think the world's in a place where if anyone's motivated enough, they can figure out how to get something on a blank lunchbox, how to get diapers made with a print.

You know, like you can make anything you, you really set your mind to. I think what's interesting about, um, the conversations we're having now and these partners is that not only do they help, like [00:44:00] facilitate like the production of these things, but they also help facilitate the distribution of them. And, um, something that, that we always talk about and not is, is, is top of mind, um, uh, when talking to these licensors is like, you know, we want to earn our way into sort of every, every avenue.

And so are we ready to be on end caps at Target? Um, do we have that opportunity? Yeah, we could probably do it, but like, I don't think we're ready to, I don't think we've matured enough to the point where, um, we, we necessarily deserve to be on those shelves. And maybe that sounds like a negative comment, but for us it's like, I think the way you build is you build slowly.

And, um, and steadily do things, um, that, you know, you can, you can execute at the highest level. So like, I think there's like a [00:45:00] couple phases to it. The first phase is like really, like, we want to be a part. Everything we want to do is like, is like relatively high end, um, and keep it in this like collector's type of space.

Um, but get them into actual physical stores. Get them onto sites that people go to just to buy certain things. And so, you know, I mean, the comic book isn't even part of the licensing conversation, but like for instance, the comic book's gonna be available on Amazon on, uh, mythology, which is another, uh, site.

And you'll be able to buy it for free. Um, and it's nice, you know, now you can like go to Amazon, a trusted source and, and, and get, and you know, get a comic book. But so point is, is like, you know, we're not going after the big box stores yet because we'll get there, but I think when we go there, we want people when they walk by that end cap or that shelf space or whatever it is, to already know what forgotten rooms is.

Yep. Yes. So I think it just speaks to, it speaks to the patients, you know, I think we're very, we're a patient [00:46:00] bunch, um, and we just wanna do things right. So yeah. About distribution.

Dotta: I think that, and that speaks to why we, we like beat the drummer on doing the TV show. You know, I think some folks maybe have had a question about that, but like, why are you guys so obsessed with the TV show?

And it's, and it's around this idea that like, you watch the show on Netflix, let's say, and then you see the merch in Target and you're like, oh, I love that show. Like, I want to be a part of that. Like, and, and whereas if you just sort of have the merch in target in the first place, maybe it's like you're kind of pushing the, the wrong

Elf: direction.

Well, it's, it's, I mean, that's, that's the way to get to an audience beyond like crypto, Twitter and NFTs. Um, right. You know, we, we are trying to bring in an entirely new audience to forgotten ruins. Um, but yeah, I mean that's, we have stories that we want to tell. I think that's

Dotta: another part too, is like, there are stories that we want to tell that will take an hour and, and an entire team of animators, and that's gonna be super fun.

For sure.

Elf: Yeah. Stories are really like animation and TV is a great way to tell the [00:47:00] story. So, but yeah, so, so, so that's actually the second bucket that I wanted to mention, which is like, That's another thing Bear Snick has been doing. We, we've got a ton of, let's just say show meetings lined up, um, like, like, like the week after the party.

Um,

Bearsnake: and we're calling them uni, we're calling them Universal meetings now.

Elf: Great. Um, but, but, but yeah, I mean, like Derek, uh, has been making a lot of progress on the writing and the development. Um, and, and by the way, if, if you're new here, uh, when I say Derek, I'm talking about Derek Colstad, the creator of the John Wick franchise, um, is actually writing for our show.

Um, he's freaking awesome. He came on Wizard Wednesday a few weeks ago, and that was probably one of my favorite Wizard Wednesdays. Um, so, so yeah. So there's, there's definitely a lot of progress and movement happening on that front. Um, [00:48:00] and then actually Bear, do you wanna say anything about all that?

Bearsnake: Um, I mean, not, not super.

All I have to say is like, you know, I know that there were some people, uh, we had tied the Warriors drop to helping finance the show. Um, and all I'll say is like when we walk in the door and these initial conversations that I'm having and then. Bringing in the whole team and Derek is that, um, these, all these people, like the, the money for the show, uh, isn't the issue.

I think it's really about making sure we, we, we partner with the best possible people to get the best possible distribution, make the best possible show. And so, like for instance, I was in a meeting this morning where they just like looked me in the face and were like, well, like let's go do this right now.

Which is like, which is crazy. Um, and awesome. But it also means, you know, it's like, but like you have to have that conversation 10 times [00:49:00] to make sure that you know, you with 10 times with 10 different people so that, you know, you're getting into business with the, with the right groups because you know, we, we wanna make sure we this, we get this done right.

And, um, I think we have enough like internal experience to. Sort of suss out who, who's BSing or who wants to do the right thing, but can't do the right thing. And, you know, we just, we just want to take our time. Um, but, you know, it's, it's looking like really, really good. I, I've spent my entire life pumping up against gatekeepers who, like subjectively decide whether or not your idea is good and enough, and like the doors are just like, opening up in front of us.

I'm just astonished and, and

Elf: so humble. I, I, I said from the beginning that you are the guy who opens doors. Um, yeah. And so that's what you need when you have a bunch of gatekeepers in front of you. Yeah. Um,

Dotta: yeah. Really if Bear, if Bear Snake has a magical power, it's um, an opening door spell, you know, [00:50:00] things, we'll hop on calls and I'm, you know, I'm confident in my own domain, which would be more of like traditional Silicon Valley tech.

But then when we hop on these calls with like media executives or um, people in this o in this other world, I'm just like a baby. I'm like totally helpless. I don't know what to say. I'm nervous, I'm intimidated. And then, uh, bear Snake just sort of like, we tap dances around the conversation and then like within 10 minutes we've like won over and they're just like, oh, we love this.

This is amazing. I can't believe you have this. Like, let's do a deal. You know, it's just, that's not something that you see here on Wizard Wednesday or even in Discord every time. But like when you hop on a call with a gatekeeper, with Bear Snake, like you don't want anyone else on your side because it's just this, like, he has like an enchanting spell.

It's

Elf: just incredible. Well, it's just very nice. Well, it's, it's, it's a pattern that I've just been noticing it that's just been blowing my mind, which is every person we talk to, they [00:51:00] freaking love us. And, and I, and I'm pretty sure it's like sincere. It's not just them being polite or bullshitting us. It like, like it, it, I can tell it's sincere.

And, and I mean, for one, I, I think a lot of it honestly has to do with all of entertainment is really interested in NFTs and Web three, but they don't know how to get into it. They don't fully understand it. And then we walk in the door and it's like, this is their chance to like dip their toes into this space.

Bearsnake: Um, well it's, it's, it's, it's that. But like I'll tell you, a lot of like TV, film people. They're just like, yeah, NFTs, like roll Their eyes aren't into it. Like they know. And then like their bosses are like, we need to get into web three because they see headlines and all that stuff. But the reality is, is like a lot of those gatekeepers, they, they the default, no, the default answers no because they're like, okay, yeah, you, you launched an N F T project, but what in tv you gotta tell a story and it's way harder and blah, [00:52:00] blah, blah, blah, blah.

Like, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. But, but like, I think the difference, this is like, we've actually already done all the work, we've done all the work that most that, that like most people can't get done. Like we're walking in with Tip Mouse, we're walking in with Derek, we're walking in with, uh, the cult stories, the cult.

We're walking in with the cold. We're walking in with stories. I mean, I can't tell you how often I talk about like, there's been over, I don't like over like there's thousands of stories in the book of lore. Being written and, and I think, I think both. I mean, I know for a fact a lot of NFT projects are just like hitting walls, trying to get this done.

And, and I think it's because we're storytellers. It's because the cult are storytellers, because we're focused on all the things that make great characters and archetypes. We're in fantasy. People understand. Fantasy people may, may not know, and, and by the way, I, I, I, I know that they'll be successful, but like projects like cool cats and board apes, [00:53:00] they're amazing, but they have to fabricate and invent a backstory because no one knows what those things are.

When you, when you hear the word wizard, when you hear. Warrior, when you hear beast, we've all grown up with these archetypes that make sense, and we're just putting our spin on it. We're putting our spin on it with the cult. And so I think that's why the doors are opening is because we're doing the work that that is already leading to a proper show.

You know? Yeah. I was talking to, I was talking to an agent the other day and they were like, well, they were like, well, you don't want to be represented by us. And I was like, no. She's like, good, because there's like, there's nothing more we can do for you. And so I think that's really, that's really what it's about.

It's like we're just able to, we're able to move quickly because, and, and, and powerfully, and I think it's because we're all being so sincere about what we're doing, you know?

Elf: Anyway, that's, well, I, I don't think it can be [00:54:00] overstated, like, How impressed these people are with our community and just, yep, the passionate activity that everybody puts in with the art and the stories and the poems and the songs and just the cult content.

Like that really goes a long way with these so-called gatekeepers. Um, so, you know, we have you guys to think for a lot of this, a lot of the progress that we're making.

Dotta: So speaking of cult content, I know that you haven't even talked about all of your IP things. We have some cult content we wanna acknowledge.

We only have maybe about 10 minutes on the clock, and we also have a law reading from both Ghost FX and Shark Child. So we've got a lot to

Elf: cover in the next 15 minutes. Yeah, yeah. Let me just finish the, the final bucket on the, on the IP path. Um, you know, so like I said, we've got the license licensers that we're talking about, the show people, and then, um, we're actually talking to other game devs.

Um, so, you know, the universe game is like the primary game, uh, [00:55:00] that's in production now, but, You know, we're not stopping there. We've got, uh, mini games and, and, and medium-sized games and other big games, um, that are like just, you know, in various stages of production or, or talks, I guess. Um, so yeah, it's, you know, game shows and, and merch.

It's like, it's like part of the ip, the franchise path, and, um, we're making mega progress on all of those, uh, just to finish out that piece. Um, but yeah, I mean, speaking of cult content, uh, wow, what a lot of great, this has been such great stuff this week. Um, so I, you know, I wanna, I wanna acknowledge a lot of it right now.

Um, so, uh, retired Yield Farmer, as always. Um, he, he tweeted something out saying, I am not making a game. Um, if you say so, but yeah, he's definitely not, he's

Lachness: not making for the record. We don't believe you.

Elf: Yeah, no, for the record, we believe [00:56:00] you. Um, but, but yeah. And then this just this awesome little piece of artwork of a, of an impm like casting a spell or something.

Just like, like every time I see a retired yield farmer post something, I'm, I'm just like, wow. Like this is some of the best cult content happening right now. Um, and then, um, uh, Aris at ca Chaotic Good. I, I saw two pieces by them this week. Um, one of them was a, uh, a really great soul illustration. Um, and then one of them was, um, A, uh, uh, a witch and arai, um, really beautiful pieces.

Um, and then, uh, it looks like, uh, Tonya Del Rio ordered one of, uh, the Golden Keys from Two Crows. Um, that, that, yeah, she's, yeah, it, it's, it's just incredible. And then it looks like two crows is making another piece of jewelry, um, of his actual crow. And so he posted like, [00:57:00] uh, I guess it's like the, the wax mold or something.

Um,

Bearsnake: yeah, it's, it's the wax mold that they pour the, the jewels

Elf: in into. So Cool. Yeah. I love it. Um, and then, uh, give a hoot, um, has been, uh, working on the, on Theros trading card game, and it looks like the beta version is out. Um, so yeah, I mean, I know that's been a long time in the making and it's, it's just looking great.

Every time I see a piece of artwork from it, it looks so good. Um, Crucifer, uh, has did, posted an awesome illustration of his warrior that I guess he created with Dolly that, that AI generator thing. Um, I think that's the first time I seen anything with this, this dolly thing. Um, but it was like a really great result.

Um, and then, uh, and then also Crucifer, it looks like he came out with a, another issue of hail dreas that is featuring some of the wizards. [00:58:00] Um, and it, it just looks great. Um, sorry, I still have a little bit of covid. And then, uh, Tyler at a, what's good? Ty, um, did this awesome, uh, dream Master Lake concept.

Um, and then d f i, it looks like, uh, he commissioned, um, a great illustration from, uh, frown police of his, uh, warrior, um, a Beal Vanquisher of the Blood. I, I, I love the style, um, that, that frown police draws in. It's, it's really cute. Um, and then, uh, Druid Ferris, uh, this is the first, um, uh, cult content of the headless Wizard that I've seen, uh, surprisingly.

Um, the Headless Wizard is a, is a pre legendary wizard, and, and I think this is the first time I've seen like, cult content of it. Uh, so that was cool. Um, Tabitha of the Marsh did this really great little, I think it's like an ar [00:59:00] piece of, um, the Pixel Wizard, uh, in a little strawberry patch. It's really

Bearsnake: cute.

Oh, I love that. Ar I love that AR stuff.

Elf: Yeah, it's super cool. Um, and then, oh man, this was one of my favorite things I've seen. Um, maple dad made like an entire deck of trading cards. Um, and, and I guess he's bringing them to, to N F T N yc. It just looks incredible. This this deck of cards. It's so

Bearsnake: good looking.

Yeah. He, I think, and I think he even had, um, he did a shout out to people who wanted to be on them in the, in the call and people submitted and now they're on actual physical cards, which is incredible.

Elf: Yeah, I mean, these cards look amazing. So Good. Um, and then the Night Al Birdman, night Birdman is really good at compositing things into like real photos and real videos.

Um, It's either that or he actually got wizards on, I [01:00:00] guess that's Times Square, um, in nyc. So, uh, I don't know, maybe when we go, we'll, this weekend, we'll we'll actually see these giant wizard billboards, but, um, I'll, I'll tell you

Dotta: another one I really loved was, um, non fungible. Kent posted a, a picture where you saw, like on Facebook that Sears trends were wearing wizard hats.

And he was like, when I saw this, I immediately thought of forgotten rooms. And I thought that, that like totally spoke to this idea of, uh, like where we want to be when we get merch in stores, right? It's like you wanna, you wanna see everything about wizards and you wanna be like, that's where gotten rooms like instant association and then see the wizard posted the um, uh, like Derman or NEP of the Surf, which was this like, uh, sea urchin wearing a wizard hat pixel

Elf: art and know I just loved it.

Yes, yes, exactly. Yep. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Whenever, whenever you see a wizard hat, I, I want people to immediately think, not Harry, not Harry Potter, not Gand, off the gray. Forgotten ruins. Forgotten ruins. Um, [01:01:00] yeah. And then, uh, Isaac Ora did this awesome little, uh, 3d like, like diorama piece, um, of sorcerer, Rosaro of the tower.

Um, and then, uh, Freddy, uh, Freddy 1 38 did just, I think he commissioned this really great, um, it's like this psychedelic wizard, uh, sorcerer Alister of the ether. Um, and then one of my other favorite pieces was, uh, this awesome gif, um, posted by Mt. Mely. Uh, and it was done by Mike Re no. Um, it's, it's one of the warriors with a flame thrower sitting on a tricer.

So good. So good. I, I saw that in my first reaction was like, I am so glad that the universe has dinosaurs in it. Yes. It's just badass.

Dotta: I want so many more. You know, the, I think that, like for me, Dino Topia is totally an inspiration for forgotten Roots. Like, I don't know if you had that book as a kid, I'm sure you did, but if anyone listening, um, yeah, [01:02:00] get a copy of Dino Topia because it's basically its own little like, um, legendary of lore of the technology and store, uh, like stories of, of this time in this island where humans, uh, lived with dinosaurs in, uh, symbiotically and kind of like they help each other.

And it's just a beautiful book that has, you know, uh, everything from artifacts to artwork, um, for this alternate universe. And, and this, this work by Mike Tere, uh, totally reminded me of a, of a pixel version of something you might see in Dino

Elf: Topia. Yep. It's so good. Um, but yeah, I, I think those are the, that's, that's all I have on my cult content list this week.

Um, do we have a Ghost fx? Are you one of our law readers today? Uh, yes I am.

Cult Member: Excellent.

Elf: Um, go ghost,

Bearsnake: I'm gonna interrupt you real fast. Hey, uh, lock, we have to, we have to jump to this call for the [01:03:00] event. So, um, ghost, I'm sorry we're gonna miss your reading, but we just have some stuff to, to do. I all stop. So.

Love you

Cult Member: guys. Never forgive us. Love you guys. Bye. Thank you so much.

Lachness: Kill it. Ghost FX and Shark Trials. Super bummed to miss this, but also important stuff. Bye. Okay, bye

Elf: bye. Um, ghost fx, whenever you're ready. All right.

Cult Member: Uh, first, just wanna thank Magic Machine. Uh, definitely this project's been amazing. Um, and as far as people, you know, we're going through tough times, but the cult will never die.

And quick shut out the bill and acid. Uh, thanks for letting me write for this character, Celeste, as a headmaster for the Forgotten Babies Wizard Orphanage. Uh, we did this story about three, four months ago, but just wanna share it with the whole group. So this is titled Betrayal.

Thw White Lady Song: Oh, oh,

Cult Member: mom. They're late. I think something's [01:04:00] wrong.

Cries the pup. She agrees, but swallows it down and gives her daughter a comforting smile. Now. Shh. I'm listening. Replies mother. In a serious tone. She scans the tree line back and forth for any sign of movement. It was oddly quiet without the usual song of crickets and frogs holding her breath. Mother tilts her head to the side.

Where are you? She pleads to the silence. Mother's head grows heavy, but each passage of time hope is nearly lost. Until suddenly she hears something strange. Her eyes widen as the silence is broken violently with the whole forest coming to life. No, no, no, no, no, no. This isn't right. Oh dear. Launching herself from the highest perch, she knocks the young cub tumbling backwards down the path.

The speed of the average Onyx wolf is undoubtedly terrifying. It still pales in comparison to the speed of mother as she meets the wind turning her head back towards the young cub, she yells as she races towards the forest. [01:05:00] Don't you dare follow me. Upon arrival to the treeline, the darkness begins to thicken preventing her from gazing inside.

No. What is this? She cries, oh, come on. Follow my voice with desperation. She continues. Oh, grasping. For any leverage, she begins to panic until a familiar pack of walls could. Be seen weaving through the shifting trees behind them stands a wall of emptiness, which can be seen only by the absence of light bending.

As if it's afraid to touch it. The Sheway figure grows closer, causing the air to weigh heavy on her shoulders. It's eyes cannot be seen, but she feels. I'm searching and desire the taste of blood came out of nowhere as the air continues to thicken the pack following mother's. How pierces outward the forest grasp, they paused her breath.

Her family is a comforting sight as danger has been keeping a steady pace. Mother looks [01:06:00] into the now quiet woods. As the mass slowly recedes into the bark of the fallen trees. A faint laughter can be heard As the forest lay wounded in its wake bastion, the alpha wolf stands still breathless in exhaustion.

Una, thank you. It was so dark we never would've made it out without you. Sebastian, what is that thing? What has she gotten us into? Why do you help her when? A question with erratic disbelief, I had no choice. S now's Sebastian. His lips receding as he regains his composure. I'm sorry, but I would have helped her.

Regardless, we can't talk here. Whatever's been tracing us through the woods is still watching us. I can feel it. Come follow me. Command Z alpha their two sons, ghost and Odin both rise to their feet and stride, each of them in possession of a child clenching to their backs with little hands gripping their fur faces buried under their mains.

They listen well for human Cubs jokes [01:07:00] Odin as they fall in line toward the dwelling. It's good to laugh, but always be vigilant. Explains Sebastian both sons answer in sequence. Yes. Father at the front door sits the young cub when with her most ferocious face to greet her family Mom. How could you leave me like that?

Why did you push me down the hill? Winter cries, she has no idea what kind of danger the pack was in. Wound, the size and relief as she is thankful for her family to be whole again. Leading with the ridge of his nose, the Sebastian shoves the heavy door. The home was actually kind of cozy, which was unexpected.

Given the condition outside a rather impressive size, considering how remote the location is deep in the western woods. The house was livable for the time being, but needs a great deal of repair. Old boards on the windows had splintered from the weather and all of the furniture still covered in white cloth, powdered with dust.

The brothers took the new arrivals to the [01:08:00] back room where uh, over a dozen children lay in on the floor against the far corner. Una and winter her collapsed by the fireplace that resides in the front entrance. Wake us in the morning. Una would've said had she not fallen asleep in the middle of her sentence.

Bas Bastion watches her sleep for a short while before leaving to track down the head of the house. Beneath the drilling reveals a damp wine cellar occupied by his old master, who evidently located the last few unopened bottles of wine. Besides the, besides, the woman sits the current familiar, which always gets under bashed in skin, refusing to recognize him.

Bastion often refers to him as snot a young slime, familiar with no use, besides the inability to die. Almost Onyx wolves do not associate with such familiars as they're beneath them in every way. The final two have arrived. We weren't able to say the others explains fashion as he then unconsciously snarls at Snap.

The [01:09:00] woman rises from her chair, meet of Vine and thorn the chair quickly, SLS back into the earth of the wine cellar as she walks over to her wolf. Jealousy isn't a good look for you, pup, she says, as to fade I, I never deserved you, my friend. I'm sorry to have to call upon you this time. She confesses as motion towards the stairs, but not for a familiar pat on the head that Basian hadn't felt in a very long time.

He wants to say something, anything but no words reach his voice. Come bastion. She shouts with enthusiasm and a hint of me. Let's save the world again. The pair Move forward to exit the cellar. I'll just say here, it's not mentioned. Hoping someone hears some as he often has trouble climbing the stairs.

Upstairs in the den, the children wait. Huddling in anticipation as footsteps now draw near each pair of eyes. Stare at the woman entering the room as she stands, observing her newly acquired flock. Her hair is covered with blood red streaks, [01:10:00] which stand up on their own resembling a startled pit of snakes.

She's pretty, but her face shows a worry appearance as if her life force has been dwindling for quite some time. Hello, children. My name is Celeste of El Dorado. From this point forward, I'll be your headmaster. She proclaim with a less than confident introduction. Some of the other children begin to cry out and fight back their te tears.

She notices. There's a few of the children that begin to study the room looking for an escape. What do you want from us? Ask an unknown voice amongst the crowd. What do I want from you? Nothing. You're weak, sniffling, useless creatures at best, but for some reason he's after you. Until I find out why. I suggest that you stay here or you can leave, but be born.

Once you cross the tree line, I can no longer protect you. Leave or stay. I don't care. I understand it's not much of a choice, but you're free to do as you please. I suggest you [01:11:00] get some rest before sunshine, before sunrise. It's been a dreadfully long night and I have nothing left to drink. Celeste walks toward the door, but not before realizing her shortcomings as a host leaning down to the ground, she presses both hands against the floorboards.

Until a small plant begins to grow with incredible speed, the plant grows rapidly around the room. Flowers as fruit ripens before their eyes largely leaves form into perfectly shaped beds and blankets to keep them warm throughout the night. Celeste takes a recentering breath as she finds her direction.

I'm sorry. I really am, but you're all orphans because your parents didn't know what I'm willing to teach you. If you decide to stay. Again, an anonymous voice drifts across the room to fight the child asked, no, I'll teach you to run, to hide, to do anything to survive. Most importantly, whatever you do, do not use your magic.

You think I didn't know. Welcome to the Forgotten [01:12:00] Babies Wizard Orphanage. We aren't babies. Shouts a voice as he finally reveals himself making a stand. I like you, kid. You got guts. But I'm over 400 years old. Get used to it. Class starts tomorrow. Now go the hell to sleep. Wow. And I thought mom was bad.

Whisper, ghost without a single laugh. All right. That's it. Oh wow.

Elf: That ending was great. Thank you. Do Oh, that's good. I, I love the baby's orphanage. There's something about baby wizards that's just. Really funny and, and also really, really nice, uh, wolf howling in the beginning. I, I love that part.

Cult Member: That was the toughest.

Elf: Well done. Thanks. Ghost fx. Thank you. Orbit Shark Child. Yeah. Hey, what's up? Hey, hey, guy. [01:13:00] You got, you got some lore for us.

Madotsuki: I, I do. And I, I think it's, it's gonna be a little bit different than last time. It'll be fun, but, uh, I'm, I'm jamming a lot into it, so it may seem a little fragmented, but hopefully it's fun and

Elf: entertaining.

All right, fine. I didn't wanna sleep tonight

Madotsuki: and I'm gonna, uh, I'm gonna drop right now in the, uh, secret tower. Just the images of all the characters I've, I jammed into this, so.

Elf: Oh, sweet. Okay.

Madotsuki: They're, they're there now. So this, oh, I'll, I'll say it's, it's mainly about Bernadette Slasher Wizard. So this is, this is some warrior lore, but we got some wizards in there and some fun.

So,

Elf: great. I, I, I mean, some of my favorite lores when, when, uh, a bunch of characters are mixed together. So, yeah, go for it, man. Yeah, I'm trying

Madotsuki: this out so we'll see what people think. Alright. Alright, here we go.

After following the Prism Armored Warrior with the Pony Shield Golden Headband, frizzy [01:14:00] Burnett hair and F Manchu mustache for over a day deep into the Faye, I started to doubt my decision to trust his ever. His name was Intentions. So months ago I was stuck at the gates of the blue wizard, bastion caught and detained on account of borrowing some gold from a couple of uppity wizards and thoughtfully redistributing it, a k a paying off debt.

So I could leave this place. And he was just there, Everett on the other side of the guards, he called my name despite me, never seen him before in my life. Summoned me over and the authorities though begrudged handed me over to his care. So there I was outside the walls of my home for the first time in ages, moments before nearly behind bars with nothing but my green spandex, a champion helmet.

I had no right to have a rather dull long sword. And my pet Maca Kaleida named after a kaleidoscope who seemed more interested in Everett's prism armor than anything else. It is time to claim your wound, [01:15:00] Everett said, with a very motivational tone as if there was nothing to it, just to reach out and grab your wound kind of thing.

Even though I never imagined it would be possible for someone like me to activate a room, I was not a fighter. I was a dodger, a side stepper, but my sister leave. There was something more in me. Otherwise, she would not have given me the sword or helped me steal that goal to buy my freedom. Rat, playing your own kale said, echoing my warrior guide.

Speaking of freedom, that gold that was supposed to make it to my debtors never did so who was there to immediately greet me outside of the gates, my boss', top henchman, the major peacemaker of emps and a couple of back alley thugs. I thought it was gonna be the end of my little adventure. But Everett pulled a previously unseen of bag of gold from his waist, tossed it to poi peacemaker of EMP's nickname, and said, here, poise baboon scooped up the gold, and they left.

And that was that. I was free from my old life of indentured servitude, thanks to a radiant and overly [01:16:00] positive mustache night. I asked Everett if he knew of my sister and if she was the one that had had him help me. But he told me that I had another friend that was seeking my glorified presence that made sense quickly after asking, because my sister did not have that kind of gold.

I asked a lot of other questions, but I did not get any answers. There were literally hours of us walking together, hours of opportunity for him to give me some tiny morsel of information about our quest. But he would continuously say, there's no time to delay. In my book. Every single step was a delay, but I had to make do, watching his endless energy carry him forward like a dragon firework, an evening hike, a rugged sleepover, an encounter with fairies and mushrooms telling us to turn around.

But Everett's saying, we're bigger than you and we'll do what we want with my parrot seconding the motion, and another full day's journey later, and I was still following the radiant night's lead to my secret friend to uncover a room right as I was about to ask Everett my 100th [01:17:00] question. The terrain changed.

The trees thinned and a mist began to slither around our feet like a snake. The ground became soft and swampy pools started to appear. Frogs croaked all around. Where here, Everett said, we're where I asked, realizing I had walked past my guide. I turned towards him to inquire again, but he was gone.

Everett. I called out Everett Kale

Elf: said I

Madotsuki: turned back in front of me, and a hoard of ghouls was headed right for me, running across the swampy earth as if they were flying. They were dark green and charcoal things with gaping horses where eyes, noses and mouths should have been. They were making this reverse.

How kind of sound that got louder and louder as they converged upon my location. Back behind them, I saw a figure standing cloaked in a black race garb and wearing a blue wizards hat. My heart sank. I dreadfully knew who that was. It was Milton from shadow one of the [01:18:00] wickedest ne romantics in universe Everett.

I said again, this time, begging for some retrieve Everett. I doubled my decibels. I defied your room Bernadette. A croaky voice said off to the side. I looked over my shoulder with what little time I had left and saw the golden skin of an an Iran Wizard Dred in a purple mantle robe. It was electro maner mocha themed master of lightning spells, please.

Good wizard. I said nearly crying. Help me claim your wound said rock clean. Your wound Kaleido was not helping. I unsheathed my sword and held it out with a trembling hand. Jail seemed like such a be a much better choice at this moment. I was panicking and did not know what to do, but I caught a glimpse of my hand, my hand holding the sword, and I saw the burn scar on that hand that had haunted me for most of my life.

My mind slipped into memory. That's my Bernie, my guardian, said, [01:19:00] forcing my right hand upon the scolding surface of the stove at school, at work, or even in the bed of some deadbeat low life, they won't see you as anything but a Bernie, a poor Bernie who didn't listen, which he was told to clean the damn kitchen, stood your light to believe he was my father, but he was not.

He was only a director at an orphanage, paid to abuse and amuse himself with more than a dozen broken girls. But we did not say broken. One of my sisters was proof of that Dre. Dre was the wrecker of monsters, and she had come back to visit my other sisters and me right at that very moment. Whether it was all of the memories of her own misery at the hand of Stidger and a selfish act of revenge, or the self appointment of adjudicator as a selfless act to save us.

Dre severed the wicked man from his ways right then. With my hands still glued to the stove. I remember seeing metal flick forward through stitches chest and a flash of red. The blood is so red. I recall thinking before realizing it was not the blood that was red, but the blade [01:20:00] Dre had ran him through with the sword of the wrecker of monsters, and that sword returned as something else, A blood sword transfigured by a slain act of rage, looming magic on her soul sword, just waiting to be summoned.

I said, with a quivering breath while pulling my hand from the cast iron that now held much in my right hand's flesh. She retrieved her new sword, removed her helmet, and set it down and embraced me. I can't stay. She said stammering, looking towards the murdered man. You got this Bernadette. I sat there with a burned hand holding the helmet that my sister forgot.

Watching her leave and knowing she would be on the run, but I felt empowered. I felt safe then. Now were nearly upon me. I reached up with my left hand and touched the helmet on my head. My sister's helmet, the champion of my life, and thought of all she had done for me. All that she had helped me become. I continued to stare at the scars of my hand, and in a sudden instant, they [01:21:00] became an extension of me, a symbol of what I came from, a symbol of who I now was and a symbol of everything.

I could be a ruin of power. And this ruin of power erupted within me. I felt exhilaration and I felt determination. I felt clarity and certainty, awareness and lightheartedness. The energy ricocheted throughout my body, mind, soul, before coursing back to my hand and bursting up into my sword as if it were part of my limb.

The shell of my timidity and meekness fell away. I raised my arm and extended the blade towards the sky. Electro manor. Mocha called down a bolt of lightning that would've otherwise struck me dead. But I summoned that magic as much as she casted the electric. Struck the electric spell, struck my sword and ignited in physicality what was moments before only an incorporated power within me.

My sword burst into ferocious flames with a radiance that cast light to the reaches of all unimpeded distance. With aro of power and a new, vibrant confidence, I took a momentous swing against [01:22:00] the approaching hoard of Milton's ghouls flames flinging off my blade towards them. The creatures lurched back and suffering, covering their eyes with covering their eyes, with their arms and hands before I could even engage one.

One in battle, they had turned and fled. I'll be calling you, mocha said, be ready. Frog wizard. Frog wizard. Kale said. Out of nowhere, Everett reappeared from behind me and handed me a golden frog shield a new adventure awaits you now. Bernadette Everett said with a quick response while smiling. I corrected him.

The name is Bernie.

Elf: Badass. That was awesome. Oh, I, I love the image of all the ghouls, like running over the, the swamp. Um, I, I love the, like, the intro of Milton and, and, and Mocha. Um, and then, and then the way you used the power ruin [01:23:00] that was like you brought all these together, all these characters together in such a great way.

That, that was awesome, man. Thank

Madotsuki: you. It was fun. It was a lot, a lot going on, but know, but

Elf: yeah, no, it was, and like, you, like, like you put some lore behind like the blood sword and how it, how, like how it became the blood sword. It like it, and then you described like the, um, the, the guy with the frizzy hair and the mustache, like the foo man chew mustache.

That head is like one of the funniest head in the Warrior's collection.

Madotsuki: It's one of my favorites. Yeah. And then he has the pony shield. I, that's one of my favorite warriors. I dunno. Yeah, it was, it was literally in the NFT X Vault. And I was

Elf: like, uh, yeah, I'll take him. Hell yeah. But, and then Dre

Madotsuki: Dre both.

So I have two Dre, so she has a, you know, an initial form and then she becomes the form with the, the blood. So, and kind of a, a renegade out on the streets, but, you know, I can't fit it all into the lore. But, [01:24:00] but yeah, I kinda hinted at all

Elf: of that. That's awesome. Great man. So good. So good. Thanks guys. That was some great lore today.

Thank you. Um, Doda, do you, uh, do you have anything else? No, uh, well, art come to NFT nyc. Uh, when you see me there, I'm gonna be the guy that looks like Doda. He looks exactly like his pfe. Yeah. And, uh, and I looked exactly like a goat. Um, so yeah, please come, uh, to the party next week. I hope you're all able to make it.

Yeah, I wanna talk, I wanna talk to every

Dotta: single person who's here, so please, please do not hesitate to come up. I

Elf: I can't wait to meet all of you. Yep, exactly. Agree. Um, and, uh, and thanks to, uh, MJ Noble for, um, this amazing, uh, music, um, that I'm going to use as [01:25:00] an outro today. Uh, this has been Elf and Dota, bam Bam, Orbis Ghost Effects, uh, um, channeling out from the Quantum Downs, gn, everybody,

Thw White Lady Song: I take my.
