In the Runiverse
Northwest of the Halcyon Sanctum lies a land of shimmering crystals, some large, some small, all reflecting a dazzling array of color and light. Chroma Crystal Row, a nexus of dreams and reality, of peril and beauty. The crystalline structures seem to grow on every surface, from stone, to plant, to animal, nothing, it seems, is able to avoid its influence.
Crystals across the Runiverse are highly prized for various reasons, but the crystals of the Row are considered superior. Collectors, blade smiths, alchemists, and various arcanists across the land venture here to find rare and powerful varieties. They exhibit a cornucopia of properties and abilities- from materials for weapons, to ingredients for alchemy, to energy manipulation. Wizards and other magic users find that crystals, especially those of the Row, are excellent for healing, manifestation, grounding, dreamwork, and protection from malevolent forces.
There are, however, darker crystals which exhibit darker abilities, which have the power to summon demons and shadows. Such crystals are not often seen at the Row, though perhaps this is because they are quickly taken as soon as they crystalize.
