One of the largest rivers in the Runiverse, the Reilly river runs from the glacial mountains in the far north, down to the Salt. It runs to the East of the Duck Alliance Headquarters, then, in the North Eastern part of the Brown Wizard Delta it gets extremely wide, measuring hundred of metres wide in some places.

The Wisdom of the World

As the Reilly River brings most of the water to irrigate the fertile fields of the Runiverse, which in turn, supplies most of the food for the Runiverse at large, this grand waterway has been nick named "The Wisdom of the World" as it brings ancient knowledge, history & mindfulness down for the ancient glaciers in North to water the crops of the Runiverse.

Blue Wizards recently conducted a double blind study that confirmed: Eating food grown from Reilly River irrigation waters increased children's chances of developing Magical powers by as much as 12%.

Drok's Crossing

The main way of crossing the Reilly River during these wider portions is by boat or river barge. Given the extremely flat nature of the area, the river isn't more than a few metres deep, even in its wider points. However, if you want to cross without a boat, you'll need to use the massive stone bridge known as Drok's Crossing. This gargatuan bridge lies just North West of the Brown Wizard Delta.

Drok's Crossing Lore - Draft

In the year of the Dragon's Roar, a great conflict known as the War of the Elemental Chalice engulfed the Runiverse. The forces of Earth and Water clashed against those of Fire and Air, each seeking dominance over the other.

Drok's Crossing, with its strategic location, became a crucial battlefield in this war. The bridge was the only practical passage through the colossal river that divided the territories of these elemental factions. The Earth and Water factions, hailing from the lush landscapes of the Brown Wizard Delta, found themselves in direct opposition to the Fire and Air factions, originating from the arid regions northwest of the river.

The Fire and Air factions sought to cross the bridge and invade the fertile lands of the Brown Wizard Delta. However, the Earth and Water factions were determined to protect their territories at all costs. The bridge transformed from a symbol of trade and connection into a fortified wall, marking the boundary between two worlds.

The Battle of Drok's Crossing ensued, a pivotal moment in the War of the Elemental Chalice. The bridge became a siege front, with catapults launching boulders and wizards conjuring elemental spells. Despite its width and sturdy construction, the bridge trembled under the weight of the conflict.

The Earth wizards raised massive stone barriers to block the bridge, while Water wizards summoned torrents of river water to sweep away the approaching enemies. In response, Fire wizards hurled balls of flame to shatter the stone, and Air wizards summoned fierce winds to evaporate the oncoming waves.

The battle raged for days, the fate of the bridge changing hands multiple times. But ultimately, the stalwart defense of the Earth and Water factions held firm. The Fire and Air factions were forced to retreat, unable to breach the steadfast line of defense at Drok's Crossing.

From that day forward, Drok's Crossing wasn't just a bridge - it became a symbol of resilience and unity in the face of adversity. It was a testament to the power of strategic geography and the importance of defending one's home. Stories of the Battle of Drok's Crossing were passed down through generations, reminding all who hear them about the bridge that stood firm in the raging storm of war.
