Bearsnake: there? What's up people? Happy Wednesday. Friends up

Elf: guys. Uh, we have a huge show today. I've got a million things to say and I don't know if I have enough time to say it.

Um, we're gonna talk, uh, I, I think the most of the, the show's gonna be about the Oracle, just all the things that it's, it's bringing to the cult. And, uh, and I'll give a 3D update and I think that'll be the whole show. Um, in addition to cult questions and, uh, and cult content. Um, but first I just have a, uh, a question about Wizard Wednesday itself.

Um, Does [00:01:00] anybody think that there's a better time that we could do Wizard Wednesday, like Wednesday morning, Wednesday night? I, I know there's a lot of time zones all over to accommodate, and so I'm just curious if anyone has, uh, uh, an opinion on this. Uh, Tabitha already says, uh, yes. During the day. Yeah.

Which, which I think Tabitha is in Germany, so I, I think Tabitha's saying like, mu like probably morning time for us.

Dotta: Oh man. It's tough because we're now rolling up on two years of Wizard Wednesdays at the same time. It's hard to know. Uh, if we just get a new other crew, maybe we just add a second show.

Before we cut this one. Interesting.

Bearsnake: My, I my opinion is that, uh, doing it earlier in the morning for like Pacific Time kind of hits all of [00:02:00] the, all, all of the time zones quite nicely. And I don't th I mean in general, I don't think people, people don't come to Wizard Wednesday because of the time they come to Wizard Wednesday.

Cause it's Wizard Wednesday.

Dotta: I. Don't think that's true. True. I think people have their habit. Oh, oh wow. There are people, there are people who, who like have scheduled their work, breaks around listening to Wizard Wednesday and they've got their routine people know to show up at this time on Wednesday. I mean, even look at the Discord, I think that the people who are here have a habit.

Elf: Yeah, I think it's more habitual at this point. Um,

Bearsnake: let's arm, let's, let's arm, let's arm wrestle over it.

Elf: No, I, I think objectively to cover all time zones, it probably would be better to do earlier in the day for us, but I think everybody in the cult is accustomed to this time and so if we changed it, it would sort of break that.

Dotta: I think we could, if we wanted to try an earlier time. [00:03:00] We should do something else at an earlier time and see how many people come. Right? If we do it at an earlier time and there's like 200 people on a regular basis, then we're like, well, sorry, four o'clock

Bearsnake: crew. Funny you bring that up because I, I wasn't even gonna bring it up on the show today, but we're gonna lo we're launching a new, uh, uh, web three gaming, uh, focused, uh, Twitter space series, um, with our friend board, Elon.

Uh, and it's gonna be on Tuesdays at 8:30 AM so maybe we'll, I'll get a chance to prove my theory and, uh, who knows, maybe I'll be right for the first time in my life. Well,

Dotta: uh, I think having bored Elon, uh, tweet about it with having 1.2 million followers will also help that quite a lot.

Elf: But yeah, bear, I have that's true too.

I, I have a question. Is bored Elon, the real Elon, when he's bored, or is it a totally different dude?

Bearsnake: Um, I was gonna make a [00:04:00] joke, but I'll be serious. It is not actually Elon Musk. Um, uh, but I do think his, he's quite funny. Um, and he's got an, uh, he's a really nice guy. He actually lives, um, well, I'm not sure He's quite anonymous, so I won't say where he lives.

But point is, is like I've met him in person and super smart. He's been in the video game industry for a long time. Um, I'm super excited about the show. There's gonna be more information coming out very soon. We're calling it Game Changers, and I think everybody will be really excited. I think the point of the show is, um, to talk about all things gaming, um, to talk in, like I think we have a really high caliber, high caliber level of, uh, guest as well.

Um, so. You know, we're gonna cover everything from Tcgs to MMOs, um, to full fully on chain games. It's gonna be very, very fun. And, and I think part of, I think the cult will like this, I think this idea of putting ourselves, uh, in the center of a [00:05:00] conversation with thought leaders and this specific, uh, vertical within our space is really great.

And, and obviously, You know, it's not just about like forgotten ruins games, it's just a general conversation listening to what other people are doing. And of course, um, because we are making quite a few games, uh, it would be a natural sort of wedge in to talk about what we're doing. So I think it's gonna be a great onboarding, um, experience, get some more exposure.

So it's gonna be cool.

Elf: When is the first show?

Bearsnake: I actually think we're gonna do it next Tuesday. We're trying, we're trying to, uh, Make sure that everything is set in place, but we wanna launch it next Tuesday. Um, and if it's not next Tuesday, it'll be the Tuesday after. And I see, uh, give Ahoo in the secret tower.

He says Tcgs. Um, so don't worry. Give Ahoo. We will definitely be talking to you, uh, and having you come up when, uh, the episode rolls out, but it's very exciting.

Elf: Well, yeah, I mean, the ROS TCG is the [00:06:00] most popular card game in the universe according to the Oracle, so,

Bearsnake: exactly. And. And then also, just so you guys know, um, we're working on a second spaces.

So I think the idea here is not only do we do Wizard Wednesday, but we're gonna have two other sort of ongoing series. Um, and the other series will be more broadly about like, uh, IP. In web three and mass adoption, we see a lot of spaces that cover those topics and are quite successful. People are interested in that.

I think they're interested because, you know, it speaks to, you know, where founders are taking the projects and, and, and how holders can participate, um, and benefit. So, uh, we'll be doing that as well. So this will be rolling out in the next couple weeks. And, uh, yeah, we'll see how it goes. I'm excited and I'm really up stoked, like Board Ilan.

Huge, huge, um, following and very well respected in the games community. Um, so yeah, I [00:07:00] think, uh, we have more information, but it should, it should launch next week.

Dotta: Super exciting. That's

Elf: really amazing. Yeah. That is exciting. Um, but back to the original question, should we change the time of Wizard Wednesday?

It looks like most people in the Discord are saying Don't mess with it. Um, But, but sh do we listen to the cult on this one, Dota, or do we change the time?

Dotta: Well, I think that like a reason to change the time would be something like if we feel like more people can come, right? So like if for example, if we could, you know, two or three x the number of people coming, then yeah, maybe the current crowd would adjust.

So I think it's like on the table, but I don't know, I think before we just like cancel this, uh, The other thing that could happen is you make it early in the morning. Nobody has a habit then. So the current people can't come. Yeah. And then no new people come either. So now you just killed everyone's momentum.

Right. And nobody else comes. So like, yeah, if we wanna try it in the morning, let's, we can have, you know, you and I could hop on a space and we [00:08:00] could just chat lore or whatever and Right. See who comes and test

Elf: it out first. Okay. All right. That's a good idea. Um, alright, well that's that, uh, I wanna give a Blacks update.

Um, Okay. I have gotten in this habit where every morning now I wake up ready to race and roll. Um, and I, I'll admit at first I thought that rolling for Black Sands was kind of confusing. You know, it was kind of, it was difficult to like learn all the, all the commands. Um, but now I, now I get it. I've learned all, and it's not hard at all.

It's very easy, and I encourage, Everyone to start racing if they are not already. Um, and it, it's just, it's so fun because you can instantly see your progress on the racetrack, um, as soon as you roll. Um, and I, I'm just, I'm getting better and better at it. Um, bear will never beat me again. Um, And yeah, I mean, let's see.

I, let's see the, the current, the [00:09:00] last, oh, I think, yeah, the, no, the current race is called, um, the Pony Keg Returns. Um, and, uh, it looks like Mala is winning. This one, Mala is really good at pony racing. I, I think they came in like first, second or third a few weeks ago. Um, Uh, bill Gaines is in currently in second, and, uh, sizzle is in third.

Um, I'm like in 20th or something. Uh, and Dota and Bear are zero. Um, but yeah, I mean, I'm just loving Black Sands more and more and, and I want to give, uh, I wanna give a shout out to meet Prisoner. Who I, I recently saw the Mount that you made. Um, and it's, it's terrifying in the most beautiful way because it's also got a smiley face.

It's like, it's, it's horror, but it's, it's, it's cute and happy. Um, and I just love it. And, uh, I hope whoever owns me, prisoners mount, uh, they are racing with it. [00:10:00] Um,
