Wizard Wednesday Episode 30

=

Elf: [00:00:00] Welcome, Dota. You're on time. This, this week. Hello.

Dotta: What mic do you use when, when you, uh, do these because your voice all always sounds so silky smooth.

Elf: It's uh, the iPhone 13 mic, the built-in mic. I'm

Dotta: using, uh, like AirPod pros and they sound like garbage.

Elf: I think it's probably just the natural sound of my voice that makes it sound so silky smooth. Right, right.

It's genetics. It ain't no microphone. All righty. It is time. It's Wednesday. We are wizards. And it's time for our weekly cult meeting, a K a Wizard Wednesday channeling in from the quantum Downs. This is Elf and Dota and there, and we are just exclamation point magic. Okay. You know what, let's [00:01:00] start off right off the bat, acknowledging the tweet we just sent the Wizards in Minecraft Skins.

How awesome is that? Yeah, thanks Merlin. Merlin and team visionary. Not only how, but, but also the music choice in that video was perfect.

Bearsnake: It slaps it's got so much

Elf: swag. It's amazing. It really does.

Cult Member: And the,

Elf: the,

Bearsnake: the way that team visionary, um, sort of designed the skins. I never thought that the custom wizards, wizards would look that good, but they just, so they sing.

Elf: It's like, it's beautiful. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I, I would imagine it was, it was pretty tricky translating these. All the skins into little Minecraft blocks. I, I love, I also didn't, oh, go ahead. I didn't realize

Dotta: that you could do like the triangles and the horns and like, you know, it wasn't just like that fixed bl voxel [00:02:00] shape.

They were able to kind of like model some bits. I

Elf: love that. That's exactly what I was getting ready to say. The, uh, the Illuminati head, the pyramid, I, uh, it really stood out. I was like, oh, I guess you don't have to do just cubes. I love it. Yeah. Very cool. Yeah. Merlin, if, if you're in here, um, once again, awesome job.

And then I think I also saw that they've got pony racing in this build as well.

Bearsnake: Oh yeah, absolutely. And

Cult Member #2: flying race.

Elf: Unbelievable. Unbelievable. I mean, they're building the universe faster than we can.

Cult Member #2: Yeah. No, it's, I didn't, I didn't wanna say, I

Bearsnake: didn't wanna say that out loud, but Yes. Maybe a little bit. Um, so it's all, it's all part of the plan is to have all these expressions. Um, yeah. And I just wanna say, like, I, I, you know, I get up in the morning and I actually go into that, that Minecraft server.

I've been in it a [00:03:00] bunch of times. Nice. And I sip coffee and I walk around and it's beautiful. I feel, I feel at home.

Elf: That's amazing. Yeah. I, I, I'm gonna sound like a grandpa, but I ju I don't understand how b people build in Minecraft. It looks so difficult to me, and I, but I watch like eight year old kids do it and they just do it so fast.

It's, yeah. I, it's, it's beyond me. I, I don't get it. I wanted to give an update on the comic. The update is, damn, it's looking good. You, you, you guys have been paying attention, right? Baron Dota, uh, yeah.

Dotta: Agree.

Bearsnake: Paying attention. Yes. Definitely paying

Elf: attention More, more than paying attention. Yeah. Yeah. It's, uh, you know, here, I mean, here's what I love, which is Augustine, our art, the, uh, the artist.

He's, um, he's not just good at drawing. He knows how to tell a story with drawings. Like that's a, that's a totally separate skill, and he is an absolute professional at doing that. [00:04:00] Um, it just, the, the choices that he makes in every panel to tell the most interesting story possible. It's just, he's so good at it.

Um, I mean, you can tell he's a professional storyboard artist. Uh, so yeah, I mean, he's doing awesome. And then we've got a couple people helping us color. The color is looking great. Um, and I just, the covers, no, the covers the, the

Bearsnake: color? No, I'm saying, but also the co Oh, yeah,

Elf: yeah. As well. Yeah, for sure. For sure.

And, and then, yeah, and then there's the whole cover thing, which, um, which I don't think we've discussed this yet, but I, I think we're allowed to discuss it now. Um, basically the, I, I guess you could call it the technomics around this. It's not really technomics though, but. Actually D Bear donor. Do you guys wanna explain it?

Well,

Dotta: yeah. So I think one of the things we set out to do with this comic is to have like, we want like a paper version to be in people's homes, so that way you can like, read [00:05:00] the comic. Yeah. Um, and we're giving away for free instead of trying to like, turn it into kind of this sort of like high end exclusive, oh, there's only, you know, a thousand copies.

We like want, we really want the stories to be enjoyed and not to like over financialize it. Yeah. Um, that said, we also wanted to use it as a way to like, help people understand NFTs better get into NFTs. And so, um, yeah, our current plan is, uh, basically to create, um, a few variants of the cover and then to let people, uh, mint those, uh, you know, essentially for free.

So again, the same idea is that it's like, it's, these covers are not going to kind of be these like rare items insofar as like everyone here kind of understands like, If we have like, we'll probably have like four e r c 1150 fives, and then, you know, it's an uncapped supply, so it's not like exactly, you know, going to be sort of this like, uh, token that you flip, but more like, let's say maybe we might call something like a pope or something, or something that, where it's like if you're just [00:06:00] getting your first n ft you can kind of come and, and just try it out and learn.

So that, yeah, I think that's, that's the, the core.

Elf: Yep. Yeah. So yeah, so just, yeah, to recap physical book, but in the back of it, I think there's gonna be like a QR code where you can mint like a free cover variant as an nft. Um, best plan right now. Yep, yep. Yeah. And also, you know, this also, ok, go ahead. Yeah, go ahead.

Bearsnake: Just, just real fast. Um, yep. Something that I think is gonna be really fun is like, we're talking to a bunch of actual comic book stores, so we're gonna be giving them away at some big events this year, but we're also gonna have them in proper comic book stores. So if, if y'all like, live near a comic book store, and if you go there and you love it and, and you, you know, comic comic book stores are always looking for new products, um, and things to give away for free.

And so if you have a store that, that you love and you want to see it in it, let us know, uh, in the chat or dms then, and we can take care of

Elf: business. [00:07:00] Yeah. And we're printing around 200,000 of these, is that right? Yeah. I mean, just to that like, like Bear's the one who's mostly been like figuring out all the logistics for this, and you found some interesting statistics for comics like, Like, didn't you say like, like an average, like DC Batman, comic only Prince, like, I don't know, 20,000 or something like

Bearsnake: that?

It's a little bit more, but I do know that the number that we're looking at is like on par or more than what some of these big high, you know, like these big broad Marvel DC comics do for sure. I mean, Two. Oh yeah. 225,000 copies of the comic is, is like kind of an insane run. You know, we're giving them out for free.

Which kind of reminds me of, what's that, uh, Richard Pryor movie where he inherits Brewster's Millions. Have you guys ever seen that? Yeah. You know, and then the whole, the whole premise is like, he, he inherits a boatload of money, but he can only keep it if [00:08:00] he spends a lot of money, like a certain amount of money.

And, and it's really hard to spend that amount of money, although I think I could probably spend a lot of money pretty quickly. Um, but the reason I bring it up is because it, it's, it's actually not easy to give away. Over 200,000 Commentations. Yeah. Like, just to like, get them out into people's hands. Not easy.

And so, Street teams, uh, being in the right place at the right time, um, to do that. And so it'll be a fun experiment, um, and, uh, excited to get them into people's hands. Excited to get them into the cult's hands and and beyond.

Elf: And, and didn't you also say you discovered that there's only like 400 comic book stores in the entire United States?

Dotta: Yeah,

Bearsnake: I think, um, I think the number was like 350 comic book stores in the domestic, you know, you know, continental United States, which is like upsetting in some ways. Yeah. [00:09:00] But it's also like, okay, well that, I feel like we can get into a lot of those also. It's not like 3000, but it is, it's, it's, it's, it is a niche art form, um, that I think is actually picking up a lot of steam.

People have this nostalgic, uh, sort of draw to the seventies, eighties, and nineties, and comics, comic books are a big part of that. Um, and you can see a lot of people, you know, getting, you know, getting back into Pokemon as adults, getting back into trading cards. All sorts of these like nostalgic

Elf: collectibles.

Yeah, yeah. You know, the comic for me is like, it's sort of emblematic of one of our biggest missions in 2022, which is to like get wizards in front of the mainstream. And, you know, with a lot of these little strategies, we're not necessarily trying to make money on it, we're just trying to get wizards into the zeitgeist.

So giving away 200,000 comics for free, I think is really gonna help

Dotta: do that.

Bearsnake: A lot of, I think a lot of people would look at [00:10:00] every single sort of sub-project within their, within their larger project as a way to earn money. And, and I'm proud of, I'm proud of us for like, prioritizing what I, what we think is important.

That is just like spreading the word, you know? Um, yeah. It's easy to get caught up in like trying to like squeeze as much money outta something as possible. And, and I'm excited to. Sort of not

Elf: take that approach. Um, I wanna talk about, I gave an interview to Nifty Island, uh, this week and we talked about Metaverses.

Um, and so I wanna do a little bit on Metaverses. I also want to talk about, we have a little tiny few comments on ponies, A few come on, comments on the Dao. Um, um, and then, oh, I wanna talk about the Gucci thing. And, and then we have a lore reading, uh, from Hin Boyd, and then a bedtime story from Sharon, which I'm really excited.

Oh man. So that's

Dotta: your, that's your little like candy to stay till the end, [00:11:00] the bedtime story by Sharon. It'll be the

Elf: highlight. Yeah. Um, but, but I'm excited for hin Boyds Laura as well, but Yeah. But, but before we do all that, um, bear, would you like to give us, uh, your weekly update from the Bear Cave on the beach?

Dotta: Update from the

Elf: Bear Cave? Okay. Okay. Okay. Hold on, hold on, hold

Dotta: on.

Elf: Yeah, I

Bearsnake: was waiting. I

Elf: was waiting. Okay. Okay. Yeah, I messed that. Okay. Lemme try that again. And now it's time for the weekly update from the bear cave on the beach.

Oh, wow. Oh, stupid

Bearsnake: on the spot here with that

Dotta: intro

Bearsnake: intros. Gosh. Well, I mean, some boring updates. We're going, we're getting some furniture in there. Cause I'm, I'm in an empty room. Um, and I don't want it tell, I'm pathetic, so, uh, I'm like trying to spend some time getting, uh, some [00:12:00] chairs in the tv. Just got a little mini fridge.

I know you guys are on the edge of your seats with my furniture updates. Um, no. Um, but also, uh, I appreciate all the support on, on like the, the TV show writer showrunner front from the community. Um, Definitely have some really awesome meetings lined up for this week and for next. Um, one in particular that I, I've worked with personally in the past that is behind some of like the biggest franchises, um, out there, uh, in terms of film and TV and, and he's really interested and so spending a lot of time doing that.

The publishing front. Uh, not to go too heavy on books on this Wizard Wednesday, but there's some really cool conversations happening around creating a proper book that will sort of incorporate a lot of the work that's being done by the cult. Um, as well as sort of the behind the scene details of, of. Of how we're building at the [00:13:00] world.

So that's really cool to be talking with, with publishers, um, who are excited to, to be working with us is really exciting. A lot of contracts not that exciting. I I, I don't wanna sort of tease out, um, some of the stuff that's like hanging in the air, but there's, there's a lot going on in the bear cave.

I'm not hibernating. Um, I'm active. Uh, I am eating a lot, so, yeah, that's my

Cult Member: All right.

Elf: Um, yeah, I, I just wish we could reveal the, uh, the amazing thing that Bear, uh, bear did a few weeks ago in regards to the trailer. Um, But I guess that's gonna have to wait. Uh, oh. Yeah.

Bearsnake: We, we, we cast someone really special to be the narrator of the trailer, and I think everybody's gonna be super excited, um, once it's revealed, and that that person, uh, is like very excited to just [00:14:00] be a part of the cult.

This isn't just a gig for them. This is something that like, they feel pretty passionate about, and it happened really quickly and organically. And so I'll shout out to some, to some cult members that played a part in that as well. And, and so, yeah, we'll be talking about this soon.

Elf: No, th this person is perfect for that role.

They, you guys are not just gonna be excited. You're gonna flip the F out. I mean, I know I did.

Dotta: And so just to reiterate the timeline on this, it's something like we're, so, the, the, the plan, the things we have planned coming up are beasts. Which I think, uh, you know, not to put too hard of a date on, it would be sometime probably in, I think it's gonna look like April right now.

And then we'll do the trailer just before Warriors and then we'll do that sort of like when we're ready. Warriors kind of depends on a million things, right? Like us having a collection that we [00:15:00] like is actually the easy part. And then just sort of like getting the market, waiting for the market to be right and all these things.

But hopefully not within, hopefully within like a few months, we'll, we'll probably have, uh, a Warriors drop as the plan right now, and then we'll, yeah, we'll drop the trailer and then everyone will kind of like see it and it'd be really fun. I don't wanna hold onto the trailer too much longer. It's like I really want it to be out in the world now that it's like done like the last few weeks.

Elf: Agree. No, I'm, I hate that we're holding onto it and I understand why, but it's just like, it's gotta get out there. Cause I think it's just gonna change everything. Yeah. Um, you know, and, and yeah. I mean, the macro environment is just not good right now as everybody knows. Um, but I saw somebody tweet something interesting today that, that I, uh, I thought was cool.

They said, um, in times of uncertainty just build, um, I'm paraphrasing, I think, but I, I think that's very true and that's what we're doing.

Dotta: I also wanna mention with beasts, you know, a lot of folks have said, um, oh, you know, beasts are one of one auction that's a [00:16:00] whales game. Um, and it is true that they're one of one auctions, but, uh, you know, beasts may have some surprises in them yet.

Elf: Oh yeah. Yeah. We've got lots of surprises for beasts. Um, it's, again, I think we're innovating. No other project has done what we're doing with beasts. You know, it's not like nouns where we just auction a 1 0 1, a one of one, and then you get to vote to the Dow. I mean, it's, there's that, but there's so much more.

Bearsnake: Um, yeah, and just, and the shout out to, to Doda. I mean, uh, always coming up with such incredible technomics ways to like, engage and get the, the cult working together. Um,

Cult Member #2: so

Bearsnake: just Joda always so impressed and, and so happy to, to see these incredible ideas come outta you and, and to be able

Dotta: to execute.

Awesome. It'll be fun. So that's one of the things that El and I and Bear have been working on this week is like, You know, just like I sketch out drawings that look [00:17:00] like a child drew them. Actually, my child is better at drawing than I am. Um, and, you know, I'll send them to Elf and, you know, we correct the UI and, uh, he's painted some beasts already that are just, you know, great.

And, you know, whatever. I don't wanna keep teasing. Right. I feel like we've had like 10 minutes of teasing. I'm just trying to, it's not so much trying to tease just so much, trying to like be accountable and tell everyone, you know, where we're at, what we're working on, but then also kind of, you know, saving some surprises for when things actually

Elf: drop.

Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's funny, this, this idea of just, we, I feel like we're constantly just teasing. We're, we're, we're constantly saying, we can't tell you yet, but it's coming variations on that phrase. And, you know, I, I was thinking today it was like, th there's this peculiar nature about weekly AMAs where I don't think any other legacy media company.

Has ever had to do this to the degree that like NFT and crypto companies do this, um, where, where they do like a weekly ama and so you're like pressured to like, [00:18:00] have like new news once a week. Whereas like, you know, Steve Jobs when only do a keynote when he actually has a product that's launching, but certainly not every week.

And I feel like we just come on here every week saying, yeah, we're doing this same thing we told you last week and it's in progress, but I promise you it's coming.

Dotta: Takes more than a week to sign a celebrity to and make a trailer. Yes,

Elf: exactly. Surprise. Yeah. Um, but, but yeah, I, but, but I'm also glad we do these AMAs.

I, I, I think it's, I think it's overall a really good thing. Yeah. Um, and I, and I enjoy doing it. So, um, ZLA, so what's up man? Hey, sorry, I just jumped in right now.

Dotta: I'm just

Elf: like the first like 15 minutes. I was wondering if you guys have gone over the Gucci, uh, the Gucci Grill with the Wizards yet? Not yet, but we will, we have not actually.

Do you wanna talk about that right now? Yeah. [00:19:00]

Dotta: Oh,

Elf: um, yeah. Well do you, do you want me to just explain

Dotta: like kind of what I know or? Yeah, sure.

Elf: To be honest, I don't know a whole lot about it, so go for it. Um, so from my understanding, um, because uh,

Bearsnake: wizards are part of like the

Elf: like 10 ktf, um, grill thing that's going on, uh, Gucci has partnered with them recently and they're doing like custom, uh, PFPs for anybody that got the grill mint pass and that are minting their PFPs.

So wizards are gonna get like a, are gonna be like dressed in Gucci outfits for their, uh, for their PFPs. Yeah. It's super dope. I know. I love it. Yeah, I mean that's what I thought. You know, and, and, and I love 10 10 K tf, um, that pro I love Wag Meson. Um, and yeah, and we've got a lot of like friends there, but I, you know, I always thought it was just because Wizards just look so damn fashionable.

That's why Gucci wants to work with us. I [00:20:00] mean, we were in vogue after all. So, yeah. So yeah, things are definitely starting to pick up momentum for sure. Like People's of Fish starting to do official tweets about 'em and whatnot. My only question is, are you guys gonna be able to do like, walk cycles for the new outfits if it's only one outfit?

Um, I think that's probably doable. Yeah. You know, it, it's funny, I, I don't know anything about high fashion. I could not tell you the difference between Prada and Louis Vuitton, but after this Gucci thing, I started seeing it on Twitter. I, I looked at Gucci and um, you know, they got some pretty cool stuff.

And I'll just say like, I might get myself a Gucci tracksuit if, uh, if it's got wizards on it, that's, you know, that's all I'm saying. So,

Dotta: Yeah, this is definitely a good move for Wizards

Elf: for sure. High exposure coming in. Um, yeah, I think, uh, yeah, I don't know. I mean, that's d Don Bear. Do you have anything to more to add to the Gucci thing?

Dotta: N no, I don't know. It's just, uh, you know, I, we know the folks there and [00:21:00] they've been really like, friendly and welcoming and would love to be involved, but I think, I don't really have any information more than that. Yeah. Looks like there's basically gonna be like, Gucci's first pixel fashion. Right? So that's really exciting.

We have a really good

Elf: spokesman, like, like I, I call him the voice of 10 Ktf. He covers the project really well. Does daily recaps. I mean, if Diamond Hands wants to come up and say a few things, he's probably the best, uh, resource for information. He does like daily recaps on them, like. Every day.

Cult Member: Hey, uh, bless.

Blessed to be here on a We Wizard Wednesday, y'all. Thanks for having me. Yeah, welcome. Yeah, of course. Appreciate it. Uh, yeah. So with this 10 Ktf Gucci Grail collab, um, it is a collaboration. So 10 K t f from what they do is separate from this other Gucci Grail, this collab. Um, we've, we've kind of talked about a few things as far as a possibility of a moving, um, art artistry into the future.

So [00:22:00] we might just be partnering with Alessandro, Michelle, Michaela right now, and then moving into other artists because Wagni SSON might be decentralized himself. Um, looking at the possibility for future collabs, building out of that. Um, so we just, some people are kind of confused that, uh, 10 Ktf and Gucci are the same thing, and so.

Making sure that people know that it is a collaboration, uh, for the time being. It hasn't been discussed as a full-time, uh, partnership. And so, uh, those two things are a little different. But yeah. Um, if you're a part of the, uh, 10 K T f, um, ecosystem with all the parents that are involved, 11 different parents, uh, you'll be able to mint with your Gucci Pass and your parent, and then your, uh, your parent would be dripped in Gucci from there.

And you can choose out of the Aria collection or the, uh, the sum, the, uh, was it the love. Love Parade, the Gucci [00:23:00] Love Parade and the Aria Collection's, more of an equestrian vibe. And then the Love parade has more of like a summer frills and, um, flowers type of a, like, they have like cool shades on and stuff.

It's a lot more laid back cowboy stuff. Um, and you'll get to choose out of those options, I believe six different, um, sets of clothes. So it's not just gonna be the one or two sets, there will be a couple variances within there. Um, and then thinking about the possibilities that this builds out into with runways, uh, having wizards on the runways, uh, just thinking about like where, where height actually trying to go with, um, Yes.

Think about the possibilities to bridge this out now. Um, one thing that I, I noticed, so yeah, I do a lot of research for, uh, background research for the community over there. Try to hold it down for everybody so they can understand this moving N F T mystery, right? Um, but that, that being said, uh, looking at the, uh, and the, there's future [00:24:00] opportunities in the roadmaps of Gucci Vault and, uh, 10 K T F, like just holding these, we'll give you future opportunities, but neither of these projects have roadmaps yet.

And so I'm like, dude, this could be something that is, I mean, it could be something right? Probably nothing, but could be something. I never wanna say too much. But, uh, there's some crazy things going on in the background, and I think I've said enough. Uh, if anybody has any questions, feel free. But, uh, couldn't be more blessed to be here on a Wizard Wednesday.

Thank y'all so much.

Elf: Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. I wizards on the runway. I like the sound of that. Yeah. Um, yeah, I guess I do have to make these walk cycles Ze sold because they got us strut down the runway. I, I also like the idea of equestrian clothes. I mean, that's perfect for the pony, so, Um, yeah. Do you want, do you wanna say something else, diamond?

Yeah, I

Cult Member: totally forgot. Yeah. That collaboration with Sandbox. So there was just something that got tweeted out that talked about Sandbox, [00:25:00] and we did have, uh, cam Tales. One of our wonderful community members, uh, went into Sandbox and, uh, she found a runway in Sandbox that's already waiting there. You can't access it or walk up on it yet, but there are future bridges that are building there, uh, that really look juicy in prime.

So, uh, beautiful things in the future. Y'all. Beautiful things.

Elf: That's amazing. Yeah. This is, this is a great segue into the, uh, the metaverse bit that I wanted to talk about, um, in 3D and uh, just the interoperability and the cross. Pollination of all these projects. Um, yeah, I mean, it's really exciting guys.

Uh, there's, uh, there's an upcoming 3D meta, um, with, uh, nifty Island. I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with that project. Um, and Wizards are invited and, uh, I, uh, I gave a space interview with them, I think it was like on Tuesday. Um, [00:26:00] and from the sound of it, it sounds like Wizards might be the first partner project that has, uh, full 3D character rigs.

Um, and so once again, forgotten ruins is leading the way. Um, our, uh, our Metaverse strategy just seems to be like months ahead of like 98% of the other projects out there. Um, you know, it reminds me of when our, we had the full 2D walk cycles, uh, just immediately ready to walk around in Worldwide Web three.

Uh, Um, and so now I, you know, I think I, I think the nifty Island guys told me that like we, we are the first project that has started delivering 3D character rigs to them. Um, so, you know, I mean that's, that's freaking amazing. Um, and then we, you know, we were just talking about the metaverse in general. Um, and one of the most frustrating things I think right now is everybody seems to sort of define the metaverse differently.

Um, I think that [00:27:00] most crypto and n f t people get it, uh, but it's mostly the outsiders and the critics that just don't seem to get it at all. They, they seem to think it's just a damn vr, uh, app created by Mark Zuckerberg, which couldn't be further from the truth. Um, you know, and I, and I think a big reason they don't get it is because they don't even understand what the, the base layer is, which is blockchain.

Um, but you know, we, we were talking and it, to me, And maybe people disagree with this. I don't know. To, to me the, the primary feature of the metaverse is just the interoperability of it. Um, if I had to define it by one feature, to me that's it. Uh, the fact that you can carry around your digital assets and your digital identity across all of these metas, um, um, and, and achieving that interoperability is, is a colossal challenge, uh, from the technical to the legal, to the cultural, to the aesthetic.

It's all [00:28:00] very challenging. Um, and I was talking to the Nifty Island team about, uh, our 3D rigs, um, you know, and just getting the technical components right so that the rig actually works across all these different platforms is, is an incredible task. Hours of my days are devoted to this alone. Um, but you know, this is what all projects are dealing with right now.

Um, because the, the, like, one of the issues is just there, there's no universal standards yet. There's no agreed upon file formats, no rig standard, no universal game engine. Um, and, and then to add on top of that, a lot of these obnoxious software companies are using proprietary file formats. Um, but I'm not really bringing this up to complain.

I actually, I bring it up because I think it's an amazing opportunity for. All of us. Um, there's this, this interesting piece of architecture in Dubai and [00:29:00] in Arabic. It says, the future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it and execute it. And I think that phrase is so pertinent right now. The future belongs to those who create it.

And this is what we are all doing right now. We are building the future. We all have a role to play in it. And so whether you are contributing technical skills, art skills, lore skills, you are taking ownership of the future. Even if you just buy and hold a wizard, you're in the game because at the very least, you're invested in it.

And so we are collectively shaping this world. We are making our mark upon it. We are putting our roon on the door of this digital Dominion. So I don't know Dota, what, what, what does the Metaverse mean to

Dotta: you? Yeah, I've mentioned this before, but I really like how Dom talks about, um, the term, like the hyperverse, [00:30:00] right?

So I think that I lean in a lot like what you were saying, which is this idea of interoperability, um, that kind of the, the web. Worked because anyone could like link to anyone else and anyone could kind of join and become part of this. Like, um, you know, linked Worldwide Web and the, we have like the browser, which operates as a certain standard in how you can build webpages and then everyone can participate and then like standards, you know, kind of grew out of that.

So it started with like, you know, as I'm sure you know, the early browser didn't even have an image tag, right? It was actually, um, you know, mark Andreessen of Andreessen Horowitz working while working on Netscape, which then was called Mosaic. That kind of invented the image tag. And, and then that became kind of a standard.

Now all of our browsers use that. And so I think we're al we're almost in like the pre, like, I don't, it's almost like the pre H T M L like, uh, era of the metaverse [00:31:00] insofar as there are like almost, almost no standards. Um, and so I think we are starting to see. Yeah, of course. Like the blockchain itself becomes a certain standard for like, you know, e r c seven 20, ERC 7 21.

Maybe these are kind of like the, the image tags of ownership, um, in, in this current moment. But in terms of like, when you actually talk about like a game, what, how do you, how do you have like a link between two different 3D games? I mean, I'm not even sure. I haven't even visualized to how that would even actually work, but, uh, you know, we're pressing on it and I think we're talking to some of these other groups around how we might make, you know, wizards interact with other universes.

And I think, uh, it's a really exciting time. I don't know. Anyone else wanna come up on stage and give thoughts on interoperability? The metaverse? Yeah, please.

Elf: Being, yeah, yeah. I mean, but, but what I was, you know, I was talking with the Nifty Island guys and to me what's exciting is like, none of this is impossible.

It's not even, it's like necessarily difficult. We just have to [00:32:00] choose a path. There's several paths open. We just have to like decide which is the best, which is the most efficient. Um, you know, I don't know, but

Dotta: it's hard because a lot of, like 3d, a lot of 3D is, is still very closed source. Even in sort of implementation, you're, we're starting to see glimmers of light where, for example, blender is, um, starting to compete with Maya and Houdini just in terms of, its like maturity.

And so I think there's something around like funding open source software through, uh, blender. But, you know, unity is, uh, unity is so, so far ahead of kind of like other open source implementations, I guess maybe. So Unity is a game engine. The other ones would be Unreal Engine. And then the third would be Gado is one that's also really popular.

And, you know, they're, we're making headway in terms of game engines that are, are good, but the commercial versions are so much better. And so I think there's something like that that needs to be established, which [00:33:00] is like, Um, better open source software if we're gonna have like a full stack end-to-end.

That's like a, a, an interoperable meta because obviously like centralized companies are always going to try to like, set up a walled garden. Yep. Right. You have to log into Facebook to use your Oculus, that sort of thing.

Elf: Exactly.

Dotta: I know, um,

Elf: Fabian and Vogel stellar, he, he created the standard for the e RRC seven two or the E Rrc, um, ERC 20 and a few other standards as

Bearsnake: far as blockchain.

And he's getting ready to launch

Elf: his personal blockchain called Luxo. And he's focusing on the creative economy where he is trying to make like the blockchain more accessible to people that want to do things like, as far as social media. And he's really focusing on decentralized identity and stuff like that.

So I think over like this next

Bearsnake: year, 2022, we're gonna start seeing a lot more things that are capable

Elf: as far as that domain. Dud, do you wanna say something about, I, I have a thing on ponies [00:34:00] and then you have a quick thing on ponies.

Dotta: Yeah. So, well, I mean, just one thing with ponies is this idea that like you need to mint your ponies.

You have two weeks left, you have until March 31st to mint your ponies. So, um, if you kind of know that like, you know, your are merch box is like on a shipping container at the bottom of the ocean and reach out to us and we'll like work it out for you. But, um, you'll, I'll post an announcement in the Discord, but, uh, basically there are a good number of ponies left that haven't been minted that, um, uh, are going to be minted.

And, you know, maybe people have questions about like, well, what's gonna happen with them? And the the first version is just like, the team is gonna hold onto them for now. Um, and then, you know, if we decide to maybe. Raffle some off. Maybe we do that. But, uh, the point to you I wanna make right now is if you were waiting to mint your pony, you need to do it.

And the question you might ask me is, why, why can't I hold my code forever? And, um, it's really two reasons. One, [00:35:00] the, uh, the minting experience as it exists right now is centralized insofar as like, I run a service that allows you to mint it. That's how we were able to organize the QR codes, um, and the coupon codes kind of.

Uh, and mail them in your box. So there is kind of this like problem that we need to like sort of shut that down and, and, and have the minting completed. The other kind of maybe more important part is I want to put all the ponies on chain, like the wizards are on chain. You know, this last week we've seen gas down to like whatever, 10 or whatever.

And it would've been very cheap and very convenient if I had had them mented already. Um, and to put them on chain. And so yeah, we basically want the persistence story of ponies to be the same as wizards. And, but you know, when there are kind of, uh, outstanding ponies that haven't been minted, it makes it sort of like messy because you have only like, you know, three quarters of the collection, which, you know, doesn't quite work as the same as a hundred percent of the collection.

So I'll let to say you have two weeks, min your ponies. [00:36:00]

Elf: Yep. March 31st is the deadline and then the pony gate closes. Um, and then speaking of ponies, uh, so we are in the process of doing the walk cycles for the ponies so that the wizards can ride them. Um, and so I have animated one pony. I've got all the frames figured out.

I know exactly how the pony animation works, but we need some pixel artists to help me, uh, copy that walk cycle to all the ponies. Um, so I'm putting a job offer out, uh, if any pixel artists out there want to do this work, um, I'll tell you right now, it's very sort of mindless grunt work. It's not necessarily fun, but the job is paid.

So if you, uh, if you wanna help me just finish these ponies walking, um, DM me. And we will pay you for your

Dotta: time. Yeah. And if you know anyone, uh, send 'em our way. You know, the walk cycles are really [00:37:00] funny because you pixel art while it's lower resolution, it's so easy for it to look just awful. And so you need an artist who actually is like a very talented artist at kind of, let's say high res regular art.

Um, but then at the same times they're so tedious that you have to be willing to like, perform the grind, which is kind of like the opposite of why an artist becomes an artist in the first place. Yeah. And so, and so that's one of the reasons why, you know, elf and sort of people from the cult have been kind of the people who were even and able to complete the walk cycles in the first place.

Because you kind of have these like people where those three things intersect. Uh, like artistic skill, um, uh, and a willingness to like work through the grind. Uh, so yeah, so.

Elf: Yep. Yep, yep. Um, and then, uh, let's see, we've got 20 minutes left. I wanna make sure we have enough time for law readings, but, uh, do, did you wanna talk about the Dow for a little bit?

Yeah, absolutely.

Dotta: So I mean, the short of the day is the [00:38:00] Dao is that, um, it's going to be a bit of time before that organization is like really operational. So really one of the things that's kind of going on behind the scenes is we're really, we're working through like a proper legal framework. Um, you know, we expect this now to be really like a significant force in terms of call content.

And, but at the same time, that means we really want to like, make sure it's done properly. And, and you might ask me, you might say, oh, but wait, do it. I'm like, didn't you think of this? Uh, didn't you think this through before? You like tracked everyone down and you asked them to like start it down in the first place.

And the answer is like, yes, I thought that I did. But it turns out, I didn't think through it enough until we'd like put this council together. Um, and so what do I mean by that? So like, I try to keep up with crypto law as best I can, but um, really what, what I was expecting we would do is we would say, oh, Wyoming has a DAO Law.

We'll use that Dow law. Um, but it turns out it's not really so simple. Um, really, uh, you know, and, and if you look at a doo and you think that it's actually as simple as just [00:39:00] kind of, um, starting up a no safe, um, it's not really when you look at a doo, we see people doing it all the time and one of two things are actually happening.

Either one, they're basically like a serious organization that they like took the time to kind of. Like deal with the legal consequences and, you know, whatever, start a foundation or an llc and it's just like behind the scenes and you haven't seen it. Or two, they're just like winging it. Which means that both like the members on that multisig and even the people who vote in the multisig are basically exposed to risks that like just haven't been dealt with because they're brand new.

Um, so like, without going, spending too much time on it, there's basically three risks, right? So one is taxes, um, the other is like liability issues, right? If someone like Sues the DAO, who's like responsible and the other, and then the third is like securities issues, right? So like taxes, meaning like what jurisdiction is this like organization under?

Who do they, you know, what God do they pay tribute to? Um, and you have to kind of establish that, um, the DAO as [00:40:00] it, the multisig designers. As I understand it though, I don't know who these people necessarily all are. Uh, you know, several of them are US persons. I am. And so there's an issue there. Second one is just like liability.

You don't want sort of the multisig signers to kind of be on the hook, like personally liable for like unlimited liability. And then the third is just securities issues, right? We've always been really careful with, um, wizards that like, it's about loock floor and like, you know, we don't have a token.

We're really trying to build this collaborative, legendary and build these like stories on an art project and avoid this, avoid any kind of security issues clearly. And so when you start a Dao like there are things you have to think about, which is like, well, what does it mean if you like, uh, like have a token that people can vote for?

And so there's basically these, my, I guess my main point is that like, The org can't really function until we figure those things out. You know, it's, for us, it's the people behind the Dow are actually extremely talented and like very organized. As I'm sure you saw from the docs. It's like [00:41:00] actually pretty straightforward for us to just like send ETH to someone and organize, like getting art made.

And so I think in the interim, um, really what we'll just do is have Magic Machine kind of play that role because we have our own money and we can fund it and like, you know, we'll work with Chuck and Algen to like, to work through a lot of the same art process to keep it moving. But in terms of like the funds that like, uh, came to that multisig, um, it's going to be a bit time, um, you know, it's gonna be a bit of time like on order of like weeks before that money starts moving.

So just keep an eye on it, give us patience. Um, you know, I think if you kind of hear that and you sort of feel that, um, you know, the org is already ineffective or something, talk to me. I'm happy to kind of like talk through the details in person. I can tell you that for sure. The people behind this are like extremely effective, but there's just basically these like legal alignments we have to put in place before we can do it.

It's really my mistake for not like getting those in place before we started this [00:42:00] process, but really we're on the border of something new. Um, you know, some of the solutions that have been published on how to do Dallas properly, even more published as late as this week. And so, um, you know, we're gonna build an important large organization, so we're gonna do it properly.

Um, one other thing on top of that is the job post for the Dow scribe. It's still up. So like thanks for everyone who applied. Um, you still have it till the end of the week to send your application. Like we're still gonna be like using that person. Um, but you know, the actual sort of action of hiring someone will be pushed until we have a legal framework.

But, you know, we are confident we'll figure it out. And if you're interested in that job, uh, apply.

Elf: Um, Dota two things. First of all. You're being way too hard on yourself about not fully understanding the law, because the lawmakers themselves don't even understand the law around this shit, so, yeah. Yeah. So come on, dude.

Dotta: Yeah, we've met with a [00:43:00] lot of lawyers and they're like, you know, they, some of the things that they tell us, they're like, well, you can start an llc. And so then there's like people who are like on the, the, like, you know, as partners of this LLC in like a normal way you, so now you basically have a centralized company that's taking signal from, you know, token holders, which, you know, there's kind of a question of like, well, how's that different from Magic Machine doing it?

Blah, blah, blah. Uh, and then there's another way that you can do it where they're like, or you can have this sort of like, illegal organization that's not illegal, but it's like outside of the law. And then they're like, depending on how you slice it, I don't know how you need to bore you with the details.

Depending on how you slice it. There's different, like, sets of liabilities, tax constraints, and so it's like, Really just navigating that. You know, I talked to some folks from nouns Dow how they're doing it. I'm talking to folks from other DAOs. You know, what's great about crypto is when I start like, you know, tweeting my complaints about it, um, my dms are full of people who are willing to help.

And so I know that we'll get it figured out and, you know, if it was gonna just be a small organization and write a hundred thousand dollars, maybe we could just buy [00:44:00] to the radar. But we really anticipate doing great things. And so we wanna make sure that there's no sort of future liability or like, Bad consequences.

Elf: The future belongs to those who create it. All right. And with that, let's, uh, pivot to our law readings now. I think we have him. Yeah, I did have just one, uh, quick question if you don't mind. Yeah, sure. Hey everyone, it's Jay Mander. I'm not sure if I've, uh, chimed in before, but What's up everyone? Yeah. Yeah.

Donna, I had a question on that. Uh, there's a lot of like personal ideas I have, uh, like ProjectWise or maybe defi wise. Uh, are there any plans to have the DAO kind of be able to act as like an umbrella org for wizard based projects? Uh, maybe so that like each individual doesn't have to take on so much

Dotta: risk.

Wizard tokens are like not securities and not investments. And so like, I don't want to be on the board of an organization that [00:45:00] gets involved of like NFT fi. Right. So it's like defi and NFTs, for example, like. You know, um, magic Machine doesn't LP like Wizard tokens for example, because like, we're not trying to like over Financialize or Financialize the Wizard tokens.

Like, we're very sort of like, it's not our mission to turn wizards into a financial product at all. And so I think that like right now, this Multisig, I'm a signer on it. And so there's like kind of, um, I don't know that that will always be the case or like it's, if I'm on the signer of that thing, then like I, I don't anticipate voting for that organization to participate in D five with NFTs do, if you hear what I'm saying.

And so, uh, I don't know that it would be an organization for that, but at the same time, if someone's like, oh, I wanna do billboards, like I want to create merch, like I wanna have a sub that does like, you know, cobalt pluses or [00:46:00] something, then like, yes, for sure. Like I could see the Dow being an organization for that.

But for, there are certain like things that would be outside of its purview, right? The, the, the, the, we'll still have to kind of formalize that, but I think the current track that we're on is something around like, like, almost, almost like, I don't, don't hold me to this. We'll, we'll, we'll publish like exactly what it is when you sign it, but it's almost like something like a non-profit for like the creation of cult content.

And so doing something like, you know, participating in Defi is like maybe outside of, of what this organization might do. But again, it's not my decision on what what it is, right? That's part of what we're trying to decide, which is like, how do we set up a structure so that the community can want to decide what it wants to do with its own funds in a way that is like safe for everyone.

Does this make sense?

Elf: Yeah, totally. It's just such an interesting conversation and yeah, these wouldn't be like projects I was necessarily trying to like profit off of. Just like, you know, if, if you have like an outlet through the. Cult somehow. I just think that'd be really [00:47:00] cool. Like, you know, probably down the road once more of the laws are more, uh, established and

Dotta: standardized.

Yeah. And, and the good news is, is that like, you know, as much as kind of this multisig was created with kind of the intention of like helping the cult, um, you know, we didn't ask anyone's permission to do it. And that's part of the spirit of decentralization, right? Is that like, okay, maybe not being under the umbrella of this org, um, you don't get the help of the organization being set up, but at the same time, someone who just uses the tokens in the way house, whoever they choose according to the rules of the blockchain, gets the freedom to do whatever they want.

They're not bound by the same constraints, right? And so the tokens exist on the blockchain, and anyone can do whatever they want with them, insofar as it obeys. You know, the smart contracts, so.

Cult Member #2: Mm-hmm. Yeah, totally. I, I used like the swing set analogy, uh, to [00:48:00] a lot

Elf: of people, like, you install the swing set and you're not really responsible for like, who comes along later and swings on it.

Like you just kind of put it up there, right. So, yeah. Uh, Henry, um, and then I think Sharon, right Sharon, if you wanna, um, do a, uh, put it in a request to speak. Um, but Henry, do you wanna, do you wanna go first? Yes,

Cult Member #2: sure. Um, thank y'all for having me. I signed up months ago for this, uh, uh, law reading and, uh, real excited.

And I had so many decisions to make on which wizard or pony to use. And so I went with the first one that I got and the first lore that I wrote, um, wrote, I wrote it a week after the deadline for the sacred flame. So I never got a sacred flame, but, uh, thinking on. Uh, what, um, elf said about, you know, the future belongs to those who create it.

I wrote this lo and uh, you know, some of the things that I wrote about, uh, in there, uh, have come true. And, uh, maybe it's a picture for [00:49:00] what is to come down the road. I don't know, but it was a lot of fun. Um, his name is, uh, jt, um, JIT Merlin of Dreams and his familiar Bun Bun of the Dirk Number 72 38. Here we go.

Merlin, a middle-aged wizard trained in the classic classical dian magical arts. He has perfected the spells that create barriers that reflect attacks. Cast weapon enchantments, which temporarily steal magic powers from others and spells granting temporary invincibility. Mother is a master of force use magic and can move objects of great size, and by his powerful neon green force being that he emits from his dumb stick.

He's often called upon by the town spoke and other wizards in an advent of a disaster or an emergency to aid with clearing paths, removing rubble, building, crossing structures, or the like. He is happy to help. Merlin loves to travel and has visited many forgotten room realms and other worlds. He's able to [00:50:00] enter the world's in Metaverses through traveling through portals in his dreams, by waking up at the desired destination.

This world traveling ability was learned from a top wizard associate at the Drut Academy, whose identity has never been revealed. When Merlin was a young wizard fresh out of the Jewitt Academy, he had the opportunity to care for the Great Man tree in the land of manna as part of his post whiz certification.

Not long after his arrival, great evil events were set in motion that resulted in the Mana tree being destroyed. Merlin's role in those events are still unclear, and it is, and he is reluctant to speak about it. Merlin's Dump Stick is actually a branch of the man tree. He wheels and reels tremendous magic, magical power from the manna spirit.

Wood of Wood Dryad. Merlin is a very friendly wizard and loves to meet new people. Merlin adores children and will stop and answer their questions or tell grand stories whenever he has the opportunity. The children love his little rabbit. Merlin's Familiar is a brown rabbit named Bun, bun of the Dirt.[00:51:00]

Rabbit has been known to speak but only does so when he, she has something very important to say. It is unknown where and when the language enchantment was placed on bun bun. Some say that there is no enchantment on the rabbit whatsoever, but that the rabbit is from watershed down a place where rabbits could talk and once ran free until men raised it and built homes on the land.

Merlin won Bun Bun in a card game some years ago. They have been best friends ever since. You can find, you can usually find Merlin and Bun Bun near the Dream Master Lake where he has a nice cabin, not too far from the local town. Stop in and see him and Bun Bun door is always open and uh, the second part of his Lord is just a short little interaction.

I did a couple weeks ago, um, prior to learning of something that's gonna be dropped. Um, a walk of reflection. Merlin and Bun Bun are seeing great changes that are going about in the universe, weeks or decades in this world. Bun Bun Merlin, casually missioned to us familiar as they walked around Dream Master Lake.

Pretty soon we'll have [00:52:00] neighbors. I hear many types of wizards and warriors will be moving in from across the realm. Bun Bun just looked up at his buddy and nodded. In agreement. Bun Bun said, do you think there will be others like me? Merlin? Why? Of course, Merlin Stam. There have been legends of many magical creatures that will emerge from their slumber and provide their blessing, and in some cases, terror on the land.

Bun bun smirked. Let's hope for more blessing than terror. Merlin and Bun Bun arrived at the sacred stables where they, where some of the forgotten, forgotten ruins ponies lived. They scooped the feed and served the sacred steeds who delighted in their snack. Everything was calm and tranquil at the moment, and it was good.

Dotta: Uh,

Elf: and that's it. I, I love, okay, so many things I love. First of all, bun Bun of the Dirt is an all star familiar. Yep. And especially that he came from Watershed Down or rumored to me. Um, that's one of my favorite books ever. Um, I also [00:53:00] love, I I think you're the first wizard I've heard lore about with, uh, the Dumb Stick prop, which is one of my favorite props.

Um, and, and I think you fashioned your sticking to like a baseball bat kind of thing, right? Yeah.

Cult Member #2: For one of my wizards, for a hadrian, he's got a club and he beats songs. I love it.

Elf: It's so good. Yeah, no, it's so much fun. Um, yeah, Merlin sounds like a really friendly wizard and uh, I hope I can visit him at Dream Master Lake sometime.

Well, thanks guys. Thank you.

Dotta: Um, if you can

Elf: later on before we end Wizard Wednesday, would you be able to say a few words on this pony guild you're putting together? I'm really interested in that. The Wait, who are you talking to? Henry or? Yeah, Henry. Okay. Yeah, yeah,

Cult Member #2: go for it, Henry. Yeah, sure. Uh, we're trying to arrange a pony guild, which is just a collection of wizard holders who, um, hold pony tokens.

Um, there's what, 300 owners and, uh, we're formulating in the [00:54:00] discord. And, uh, I'm gonna start to hold some more regular meetings and we've got some cool ideas. Uh, Zay was on the first call that we did, um, about how to integrate our ponies into the universe and I guess into the metaverse, which directions we're going.

And, um, and even if you don't have a pony token, we'll be, we've got some great ideas for people who are interested in, um, interacting with them, um, at a place called The Sacred Stables. So, uh, check it out on the Discord. Um, it's under the pony, uh, the Sacred Steeds. We have a sub phrase called The Pony, the Pony Gill.

So check us out.

Elf: Uh, I love that you guys do this stuff. That's so great. Um, very good. Uh, Sharon, are you ready to, uh, tuck us in and tell us a bedtime story?

Sharon: I am. Hello everybody. Hello. Hi. All right. So the bedtime stories came about because Zla Soul sent me a video of his daughter listening to my other [00:55:00] story and all her beautiful giggles, and I decided that I needed to do a group of separate short stories maybe for younger children that can just, he can.

Play those for her or for anyone wants to play these for their kids for bedtime and being part of the community. I reached out to some of my wizard friends and in each story there are Familiars from other wizards. This story has seven Familiars from seven other wizards. So the story's called Reflections, stabbing her walking, stick into the dirt and dragging it.

Gallia walked the perimeter of a campground, she whispered a chant at the four directional winds jumping across the stream. The spell changed, but then her voice went back. Rise up high from earth to sky. Protect all that dwell on the inside. [00:56:00] Once the circle had been completed, Gallia walked over and set her supplies down by a circle of rocks.

Opening the flap with her leather pouch and lifting out a bullfrog. She said, high sleepy head. Beaming back at her lith, replied high gilia, holding him higher and slowly turning him around. She explained, look where our journey has taken us. It is the perfect spot for us to spend the night. You know, it's almost time for bedtime story.

Nice place. Litho answered as he hides several snacks crawling near the water. Ooh, yes, yes and yes. A drop of spit fell from his lips, setting him down. Gallia giggled. You always make me [00:57:00] laugh, you silly frog liso leaped off in the direction of the stream. And then turned around and smiled at her and said, you always make me feel safe and loved.

Then he left with a little dance as he sang. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, squishy, and boom, boom, boom. Wings are feet, they are a treat. Boom, boom, boom, boom. Bugs are yummy. Boom, boom, boom, boom. Bugs are sweet, tasty, tasty, tasty. Treats shaking her head, Gallia went in the opposite direction and walked over to a large branch.

She reached down as the Beatle ran out. Oh, I hate nasty crawly things shaking her head. Gallia [00:58:00] continued on for the search for firewood until darkness began to move in. Her arm's heavy with wood. She walked towards a circle of rocks and noticed litho bounced back, dropping the wood. Gallia mentioned. I've been thinking for story time.

I wanna share a family story, padding the ground. Litho replied, Gallia, calm. Come over here and tell me a story. Rubbing bits of debris off her arms. She sat on top of her bed at home. On the first day of winter, we would wear something special and head into the village. I like to wear my dark rose velvet shirt, which is embroidered with different colors of snap dragons.

Litho asked, well, what did you do in the village? Arriving The breeze greeted [00:59:00] you with the center Rosemary. It is our custom to use these sprigs of evergreens to summon the spirits of good fortune and health. For the new year, families brought dishes of food as an offering for their support of the community.

People wished each other well as they tasted spicy and sweet foods placed in various locations around the town center eating all day. You are my kind of people. Did you do anything else? Yes. When it got dark, we would sit around a bonfire and sing about our history. I look forward to the lore of the heath.

Yes. There's nothing better than a good lore story. Litho mentioned as he watched Gallia stack the firewood from largest to smallest. Gallia, your story [01:00:00] reminds me of a celebration my family had. Gallia turned around and smirk. You're kidding me. What do Bullfrogs have to celebrate? Lithos front lip rolled out and he glared pointing a toe at Gallia.

He said We have special celebrations. No way. Bullfrogs have special celebrations. We do. And you shouldn't make fun of me. I am sorry. I should not have made fun of you. Please tell me your story. Litho leaned in bullfrog. Celebrate the winter solstice by selecting their favorite place to hibernate. You stake your claim by squatting down and croaking your song mind.

Sounds like this.

Elf: Ru ru ru [01:01:00] ru.

Sharon: The celebration continues until the entire family has become a choir, and the day is fading away. Woo. Then my favorite thing happens. You burp. No, I don't burp, but okay. You're right. I do, but that's not my favorite thing that happens. I stand up, point my toes, drilling them down into the squishy mud, shoving myself as far as I can go.

Then I move my legs back and forth like I'm doing a little dance. I gotta make room for my butt tother down. I was like, get into a comfortable sitting position. The mud oozes in around me until I'm all cozy and nice and I [01:02:00] That's great. The mud tucks you in for the winter, replied gallia by standing up and leaning over the wood pile, snapping her fingers.

She chanted fire bright, but no smoke tonight. Flames erupted through the wood as she opened her bedroom and asked, is there anything more to your story? Absolutely. In the spring when it rains, the sun warms up the mud. You wake up the rain washes all the dirt off of you. Animals of all kinds get together to eat.

Lullaby all night. And of course there are events. My friend Stewart, the albino mouse leads a treasure hunt while we search. He makes us laugh with a quick card trick or a bit of magic bun. One of the dirt usually [01:03:00] wins at the game. Find your friend. The boy is so camouflaged. I have sat down right next to him and not noticed.

He never even blinks to find me. He calls out litho. I laugh. He yells. Found you, Jeremiah. The bullfrog snaps his fingers in a rhythmic beat and as he sings and directs the Bullfrog Quartet of Fatus, the Lone Ranger, and me singing those lone notes don't down by the pond. Ambi Junior, who's a ball of green slime, sashays around greeting everyone and it is all organized by Splash the Black Cat.

Since she doesn't hibernate, she is all winter to think of wonderful mischievous activities. [01:04:00] Nodding her head, Gallia, poked the fire, put on another log and said, sounds like it was really fun. Fun times, great memories. Litho stared at the fire for a few moments and then snuggled closer to Gallia. He laid his head on her foot.

The glow of the fire reflected off his eyes and litho asked Gallia, what are you thinking? I'm reflecting on how much we are the same. My family ate and sang songs like Your Family. Your community, except we're really different. Who litho. Being different isn't good or bad, it's just being different. Life is about finding others who accept you no matter who you are or what you look like.[01:05:00]

Gilia most would look at us and say, well, what do they have in common? You have antlers and I'm a green bullfrog. Leaning forward until they were face to face. Gallia said, I care about you. You care about me. We are totally different in looks, but we are the same in so many ways. You are my family in my community now.

Yes. Yes I am. And, and you are my family too. Liz replied as he blinked away. Happy tears movement. Caught his eye. A centipede was headed towards Gall's bed until it wasn't. Ugh. I hate nasty crawly things. I know. You dug Galatia. Goodnight. Goodnight litho. She [01:06:00] replied while laying down. Always quiet until softly.

Boom, boom, boom. Sl boom, boom, boom. Squish, boom, boom. Wings are feet. They're a treat. Thanks for listening to my story. Oh,

Elf: wow.

Cult Member #2: Unreal.

Elf: Sharon. Thank you. Thank you. I cannot describe the emotions you made me feel during that entire story. Well, thanks.

Sharon: I'm glad you liked it. I don't,

Elf: I don't know who I like better when you do the Gallia voice or when you do the litho voice, but I know, I love when you sing in the Frog's voice.

Sharon: Thank you.

Elf: I always, always say this is Cock Noodle or Cocke Noodle Soup for the Soul. It just, it

Dotta: works. Yeah. Oh,

Bearsnake: my daughter. She's gonna love this one. [01:07:00]

Sharon: Good, good. I hope that giggle comes out. That giggle is very precious.

Elf: Yeah. I'm so impressed, Sharon. We, we love, I don't know, we, we gotta do something more with you.

I, I don't know what it is, but, wow. I'm so glad you're in the cold. Well, thank you. Um, thank you. Uh, I think we're out of time. Does anybody have any questions, comments, anything else to add?
