Polarpuffs are adorable, solitary creatures that inhabit the coldest corners of the Runiverse. With their round, fluffy bodies and bluish-white coloring, they are perfectly adapted to life on the ice.
They get their name from the fact that when they feel threatened, they puff up to twice their size and begin floating like a balloon. As they inflate, hundreds of razor-sharp spines that were previously hidden under their dense fur come out, turning them into a giant pin-cushion.
The spines that they sometimes shed are considered a great treasure for any wizard to find, as they are so sharp, they can be used for anything from weaponry to sewing.
