Lore

The Eldritch Codex is a feared tome in the Runiverse, penned by Great Old Ones in their uncanny script. Only the most practiced Purple Wizards are able to handle the text without psychological repercussion. Although academics and historians alike have sought translation, each attempt has resulted in a failure more catastrophic than the last. The Wizards of the Pavilion expressly refuse to aid in these efforts, insisting familiarity with the Codex's contents and a desire to withhold the cosmic secrets for better or worse.

Meta Lore

Eldritch Codex is an Athenaeum Item resulting from a collaboration with Magic Machine and Yuga Labs for Otherside. Though it is considered part of the Athenaeum in the Runiverse, the NFT resides in the "Otherside Partner Loot" Collection.

The Collection's description states:

"Partner Loot are interoperable within the ecosystem of their partner collections."

Visual Difference

Unlike Athenaeum Items released by Magic Machine directly, Otherside Partner Loot items are distinctly differentiated in appearance by their border on a gradient background.
