Introductions
———————
The team channels in from the Quantum Downs and Elf asks if there's a Forgotten Runiverse that has just been remembered before announcing:
"It's game day, baby!"
Dotta makes the point that there might be people in the Secret Tower who have not listened to Wizard Wednesday before and invites everyone to come in with a link to the Space.

The Runiverse Closed Beta
—————————————
🍩Welcome Back to the Runiverse
Dotta says that it's been great opening the Runiverse again, noting a few "bumps" with the launch, before saying that ironing those bumps out is exactly the reason for the closed beta.
Tad Major and Elf both agree that it's fun getting back in the game. Elf says he thinks he remembers the previous build crashing more than the current one.
Dotta says that the Runiverse team have done a great job making improvements, noting a few quality of life changes.
He also says that it's been fun to see all of the love on Twitter and from the SkyMavis team. He says he and Jihoz partied up and fought some wolves earlier in the morning.
Dotta says he's noticed one of his privileges is that when he invites people to parties, they always accept. He says he's looking for Wizard holders to invite.
Entropy recalls playing in the Eve of Memory prior to joining the team and joining Dotta for a few battles.
Dotta says that he always gets giddy when he sees the rarer heads in-game, mentioning that he's only seen one Kobold.
Tad says his, "Kobolds always stay cold."
Elf says he has enjoyed seeing the Flaming Skull heads.
🍩 Entropy Reviews the Closed Beta
Entropy is then asked to remind the audience about the closed beta test.
Entropy notes that most of the new features for the public build, titled New Foundations, are available in the closed beta, but not all of the new features.
He mentions that the closed beta is mainly be a tech test for developer testing of UI, chat features, tutorial flows, Ronin functionality at scale, etc.
Entropy shares that players of the closed beta will be able to "build a house," but won't be able to decorate it yet. That is to come later in August.
Dungeons will also not be available in closed beta, but will be a game feature for the public event.
Entropy also states that the full release of the game will be available by the end of the year with no more downtime. Just "get in and play whenever you want."
🍩 Seals of Tenure / Watcher's Rings
Elf says that is really exciting, and notes his excitement about minting his plot of land.
Entropy agrees, saying that he was able to secure 4 Seals of Tenure in the Eve of Memory build.
Elf asks if land plots are available to earn in the closed beta. Entropy says that Seals of Tenure (land plots) can be earned in the closed beta through the Font of Memory mechanic.
Entropy also notes that Watcher's Ring holders are able to "tap" their rings every 24 hrs for free Mana to use at the Font of Memory.
As a side note, he says he was able to acquire a few Watcher's Rings before joining the team, and is able to earn over 2000 Mana which is the equivalent of 0.04 ETH.
🍩 Forgotten Runes Goes Global
Elf then notes a map that Dotta shared of all of the players of the Runiverse game around the globe. Dotta says that it's amazing to see how global it is while only being the the closed beta.
Entropy also notes that it had only been available in US daylight timezones at the time of the show.
Dotta asks who is on the nightshift for monitoring the Discord. Bear notes that there have been talks about getting mods in different parts of the world so that there can actually be 24 hr coverage.
Dotta also says that one of the things that has been incredible is that Forgotten Runes is a part of the narrative. He says the narrative is gaming and Forgotten Runiverse is a part of that.
He references the Content Creator Pack that the team released as a way to continue spreading information about Forgotten Runes with high-quality graphics.
Elf says that the team had a concurrent user goal and asks Bearsnake about the progress towards that. Bearsnake says the goal was met within the first 45 minutes of the launch. He says they even doubled it.
Bear says:
"Listen, I was expecting it to go well, and it is going well."
Dotta shares excitement about seeing folks mint their land plots, which he also notes are available on Mavis Market.
He says one of the great things about the Forgotten Runiverse game is that it's built on a storytelling map, rather than a chain of islands. He says once the full game is finished, players will be able to actually walk from plot to plot. However, some things have to be obscured for the beta.
🍩 Bugs & Chain Discussion
Elf mentions that there have been some reported bugs and asks if there is an official place where people should report them.
Madotsuki says that there is a forum in the Secret Tower with a thread where people can submit bugs. He also says that folks can use the Ticket system, though they are trying to keep tickets for game breaking bugs.
Elf then asks whether or not people can be on both Ethereum and Ronin and if there will be a time when everything is just on Ronin. Dotta says that all of the on-chain function for the game are happening on Ronin.
"The future of the economy of the game is on Ronin."
He says the exception to that will be Character tokens, which remain on ETH L1. However, Dotta says that the team may provide a bridging solution for people who would like to move their to Ronin. He concludes that for now the home base for Character tokens is ETH.
Madotsuki notes that players using the same Ronin and ETH L1 addresses should be able to log in and have the game "read both sides."
He mentions that Delegate will be an option in the future to make it as flexible as possible.
🍩 Earning Mana
Entropy also chimes in to note that there are a few bonus Mana earning opportunities.
‣ Those who complete the tutorial are entered into a Mana raffle
‣ Those who achieve Level 5 are entered into another raffle for a higher amount of Mana
‣ Those who achieve Level 15 are entered into an even higher tier for Mana
Entropy adds that there are also raffles going on for content creators as well. He states there is a Ronin / Sky Mavis form for submissions, and those who submit the form also receive a raffle entry.
Elf says that the "meme-ry" is one of the things about a Web3 game that make it feel like a big family enjoying something together in real time between Twitter and Discord.
Tad says it's so interesting to see people running around as their Wizards. Elf says that it's fun to start recognizing people you know just by their Wizards in the game.

Dotta's Lore Ranker
——————————
Dotta switches topics briefly to say that he is going to do a giveaway for Lore Rankings after the current build of the Runiverse game.
He says the he has recently built a tool for ranking lore. He notes request for different social features in the Book of Lore and incentives for people to write Quality Lore—beginning the question, "What is Quality Lore"
🍩 What Is "Quality Lore?"
In an effort to keep the Book of Lore as a high-quality piece of text while also remaining permissionless, Dotta has created this new curation tool on Forgotten Runes(dot com)/lore/rank
He says if the team looks at the results and likes what they see, the tool might be considered for future airdops—for not only writers of Lore, but curators as well.
He notes that he has also set up spambot competing measures to fight against people gaming the system.
Dotta says that this is an experiment—the Book of Lore itself is an experiment—and it's a way to add quality measures without having "5-star Yelp reviews" or downvotes, where people feel bad that they received a bunch of downvotes.

Runiverse, Continued
———————————
In a return the the Runiverse Game topic, Entropy says that progress in the closed beta will be carried over into the New Foundations build as a sort of "head start."
🍩 Do Pity Rolls Roll Over to New Foundations?
After discourse around House of the Dragon, Better Call Saul, and Breaking Bad, Madotsuki answers a question about "Pity Rolls" at the Font of Memory carrying over into the New Foundations build as well.
This is the system that allots players Seals of Tenures every 250th roll at the Font of Memory.
Madotsuki says he has to double-check but he believes rolls in the closed beta do carry over to the New Foundations build as well.
🍩 Previously Earned Land Plots
Madotsuki then answers another question about Land plots that were earned in the Lightbulb Frog Scavenger Hunt Art Contest Era. He says that the team has all of the addresses for recipients, but they haven't gotten all of the information on how they will drop them yet.
————————————
Cult Content Chronicle
————————————
The team then also speak briefly about the Ronin Effect and how great it has been to see the crossover between communities before winding down the show by reviewing the Cult Content Chronicle—art from the past week within the Forgotten Runes community, compiled weekly by Tania del Rio.
