The Heretic is a villainous Wicked Wizard named Sorcerer Aldus of the Morning Star (6491).

Lore

Overview

Although his psyche is always damaged in some way, The Heretic and his legions have accomplished unparalleled feats of black magic prior to their downfall. However, some experts claim signs point to a resurgence of The Heretic and his dark forces.

Alias

Aldus the Black

Appearance

The Heretic wears a black, disheveled robe and a purple wizard hat. He has green skin and has been seen both with and without a white beard. A shadowy human skull never leaves his side, with XIII carved into the frontal bone — representing Death in the tarot Major Arcana. The Heretic is often accompanied by his large black wolf named Fellheart.

Skills

The Heretic is a master of the black arts. These include: necromancy, blood magic and soul transference. The magical acts committed by him are considered profane and cruel. Furthermore, to augment his black magic, The Heretic smears fresh blood in the shape of runes which activate by moonlight to become powerful conduits.

Affinity

Sorcerer Aldus of the Morning Star (6491) is one of 14 wizards in the collection that have dual 4/4 affinities. Aldus has 100% of his traits in both Darkness and Wraith affinities.
